After getting smashed by Talon last night as Taliyah, I appreciate this video.
I play mordekaiser mid so I don't really have much trouble with this champ.

Of all the people who you'd chose to lane against Talon to demonstrate a strategy you use the one that has a 50% damage reduction at level 2
I would recomend Ahri as counter to Talon, mostly cause in laning phase Talon can't kill you when he hits level 2 or 3 cause you can just throw charm right to his face when he tries to all in you.

you're right Ahri however is not a counter, its still a skill matchup like all matchups in the game
As someone who plays both Talon and Ahri. I also had the Talon vs Ahri matchups, vice versa several times. I noticed that Talon struggles to kill Ahri post-6 because of her ult worse when she picks up Zhonya.
@@crumbs4969 not really as a zed and talon main arhi is super easy to kill but the problem is if she hits the charm she can fuck you up. SO I always hold on to my zed and talon alt because both alts makes you unkillable for a second or two
I’m a Talon one-trick, I will say Anivia, Lulu, and TF really do fuck Talon up HARD. I always perma ban Anivia cause I find her to be the most effective and annoying to deal with as Talon.

Be proactive and not reactive against talon the only tips u need
Talons also like to use their ult's stealth after diving in to survive during a teamfight. TF's ult reveals him, meaning anyone who is just playing talon for free lp will be offering themselves up on a free platter most games.
ALSO, tf ult reveals talon when he's ulted, another reason why he's a good pick

Yes, based on how I've been fairing on mid as Anivia it's still the same except for a longer cooldown.
I have been playing some really agressive anivia with electrocute and ignite instead of TP, Q+E+Aa does insane damage. So far it has been satisfying
playing talon VS anivia is truly a nightmare

Also try Ahri against Talon.
Never lost to Twisted Fate as Talon vs Assassins he lose so fast
As a Talon one-trick, here are a few things they forgot to mention:
- Level 6, ward your jungle entries
- Level 6, ward the buff that your jungler started on
- Have a ward in the middle of the lane so whenever he pushes you, you can see which side he's going towards
- Don't follow his roams if you don't have vision on him AND if you don't already have a direct lead against him
In-Lane Tip Against Talon Mains: Specifically against Talon mains since the majority of Talon players don't know this/aren't comfortable doing this to you:
- Between Levels 6 and 9, if he has his flash/ignite/R up and he has around 200 mana left, play extremely safe when you're below 70% HP, because once you are, all he needs to do is land 1 passive stack from W, then instantly Flash -> ranged Q -> R mid air -> AA -> ignite and you pretty much go from 70% HP to 0 hp in the blink of an eye
I'm learning viego mid. I usually dont have issues with melee champs but talon has to by far be the most annoying to deal with early game

I‘m a support main and wanted to ask: how do I deal with Talon‘s roams when I have a winning lane, which pressures the enemy turret hard early(for example Heimer and Fiddle)? Since because of his e, i can‘t really ward against him (he can come from to Many places).
Großer Peter Pay atention to your mid lane pings, and make sure he pings right after talon leaves lane
Großer Peter If u listen the video basicaly ehat they said is you can't counter talon, the only bad matchup in the entire mid lane pool is diana i believe. So u don't. The general tips when you hard pressure is to bring your jungler bot and pray to god they don't 4 or 5 man you.
well that's just something you're going to have to play super defensively against and give up your pressure in bot lane. He's sacrificing kill potential at mid/top for no exp at bot if you play it right. unless your mid/jungler roams too with reliable CC, hugging your tower will be enough; he falls off lategame if he doesn't snowball.
If you KNOW you're up against a talon or even any double assassin match-up, pre-game choices make a huge difference. As a support player, I urge my ADC to pick heal instead of TP just to survive the early game and I switch out ignite for exhaust to endure the early game storm.
The Homie J' im a Talon main and Diana is a good matchup imo, cuz she is melee. Talons q crit against melees and its easy to hit both parts of W so you can "trigger" your passive.

Kayle's a pretty good counterpick to Talon. She has enough waveclear to counter talon's pushing at all stages of the game, and she's very hard to burst down because of her ult (can use it on her teammates too to prevent them from dying). Trading with Talon is very easy, as you can just q him if he engages on you, and auto attack him to death. Definetly recommend this.
Make one for wu Kong I swear to god that fucker could be 1-10amd still 1 shot a fed adc

chuckles de clown Getting a level one hp advantage on him is CRUICAL in matchups where you have range advantage. Spook him off of an immediate all in.
How do you dodge his W? Moving to the side allows him to Q you. Moving back is usually not fast enough.
Domasiukas as a Talon main, I'd say that pre 6, it's fine if you just move to the side. He won't be able to burst you without his passive and when playing bruisers like irelia in the video you can punish Talon a lot if he decides to jump on you even if he didn't hit both of his w to proc his passive. Post 6 however is a bit tricky. The best tip I can give is buy enough armor to survive the 1 shot. Also use any form of CC to ruin his combo. It's usually pretty easy to hit skillshots when he goes for a long distance Q.
Just remember that good Talons post 6 will try to not use long range q when going 100-0 you
Pré 6 you only need to play safe and don't get hit by both parts of his W
I kinda disagree with that. It's obviously better to go for melee Qs but it is possible to 100-0 a squishy with a long range q+w+r+aa post 6. Otherwise it's better to hit both w then run up to them since they are slowed, q, proc passive, then r if needed.
Almost 100% of the time outside of lane I go R-Ghostblade-aaQaaW or the flower combo

*HOW TO COUNTER FIORA PLS*
Play what you want, play average, smash her in lane even as Nasus and when she completes her 3rd or 4th item look to group and render her useless again.
And now for the tips that work if she eventually becomes a semi decent champion again:
-Play ranged Champions (Including stuff like GP and Pantheon)
-Play lane bullies that will also look to splitpush and beat her until 35 minutes (Yorick, Darius etc.)
-After the golden 3 item mark just group and hardpush a lane. As long as she doesnt commit to a base race you will win absolutely every teamfight when the rest of both teams is evenly matched.
Now some basic tips against her:
-If you´re smth like Jax or Singed don´t instapop your stun on her all the time because at least a good Fiora will recognize this patern and will start to riposte early the 3rd time.
-If you´re more of a tanky champion and you get ulted (especially in a teamfight) try to get near a wall with one of the vitals, in order for her to not get the healing zone
-Don´t keep trading into her when you got hit by a slowing riposte, because (what most players don´t even know) your attack speed is lowered as well
-If a vital points directly at her during lane, consider giving up some cs, in order to deny her many free trades and her only safe and semi decent trading tool.
-If you have 2 or more hard cc out of toplaner and jungler camp the living crap out of here
(WARNING: Always bait riposte before towerdiving!)

@@mudtube243 You forgot about something that's key for playing against basically any splitpusher: Good, reliable engage and good objective control (Towers: Caitlyn, Janna, Nida (good siege) or Nash/Elders (Chogath, Azir, Kalista (good secure and Quick Nashors/Elders) or long engage with good fight control (Ashe, Ornn + Swain, Anivia)). If the splitpush comp is well drafted, they will have a lot of easy waveclear (to deny easy siege), such as orianna or Anivia and good disengage (to deny tower dives or engages around objectives) such as Janna, Nami. Now, if you don't have engage and want to "hardpush" a lane, they will simply stay under tower as 4 and clear the wave without that much threat to them. That's why you really need good engage tools to conduct or at least threat a tower dive, so it's not that easy to just stay under tower and waveclear. So when you tower dive or commit to a fight, Fiora has to tp to even out the numbers. Sometimes it's even possible to only blow a single ult to force the tp without really having to dedicate to the fight (Disengage and wait for the tp to be completed or cancelled and repeat the siege or Nash again). That's what you always have to look for.
Ofc yours are valid points, however I did only focus on Fiora specificly. That´s why I didn´t list them as well.
I´m pretty sure there are enough guides on how to beat splitpush effectively out there.

Josué Díaz Tf can counter talons roam with his ult, beat him in team fights cuz of his r countering invisibility and talon has to always be worried about getting stunned. Great counter

Lol Twisted Fate?? Twisted Fate's hardest lanes are against assassins. Yes he can roam well but Talon will stop roaming and kill TF over and over again instead. Definitely wrong info
GrandChallenge Talon Hates CC and poke, TF has both, can reveal him during ult, match roam and push, only bad TFs would be hard stomped by Talon
Talon: 100-0 early mid and lategame has almost infinite mobility has invisibility roams strong af Riot Games: Nerfs Jax and other bruisers

Brickie actually from what I have read both dived and dove are correct but dove Is An irregural from of dived That after 1800 saw higher precentages of use and thus dove becoming the inferior past simple form of dive which means dove Is the More correct way to say it.
