I watched his review of the Scorpion Alien as a test to see if he could keep my attention throughout a review of something I wouldn't normally care about and I was still thoroughly entertained for the whole thing. Thew's the best reviewer of anything on TH-cam.

I can indeed confirm that that 2 pack of Hellcat and Whatshisface is still available in B&M. I would have bought it if I hadn't spotted KO Hexatron.
Though I don't know about Morphotron's transformation not being scary in any way. When I first got mine out of the box his knee ratchets were absolutely terrifying and I was convinced his legs were just going to snap in two. But then the ratchets wore down within two transformations and he's fine now. Though I can hear a bit of plastic rattling around inside him somewhere.

Knock-off Transformers figures only come in one of two flavors: the the flimsy hallow dollar store trash, and the absolute bangers who have better engineering and design than Hasbro does on the best of days for less cost than a modern Masterpiece. It is always one of the two extremes, never the middle ground.
It seems like all the robo revolution guys have that crucifix thing. I guess it's their equivalent of an autobot emblem.

Multiple people have pointed this out before I’m sure, but apparently Ian Bumblebeale, David Crosshairs and Michael Barrycade are all uber-simplified and shrunken variations of the 2007 Ultimate Bumblebee figure.
And the mechanical detail is just leftover speaker junk from after they gutted it.
Why did it take a rewatch 4-5 years later to notice the Bottom reference? 😁😂🤣

There are TWO Robot Wars references in this video. The first one is Firestorm because one of the most well-known competitors in the UK series is Firestorm IV. The other of course is during the Hexatron segment.

The Shadow Hexatron KO is one of the best knock off figures you can find, very detailed, good for display and comes with better weapon accesories than most official figures.
Hektols If you mean that in terms of KOs you can get in Dollar stores, then yeah, Morphotron is pretty fucking good. But on a grander scale including figures like Wei Jiang's stuff, this guy is kind of behind in like the top 30s.

Legit, I love how people keep sending him stuff for knock off beat down, and he says he doesn't want to make anymore because he wants them to be up to quality, and not just shat out like garbage. Much respect Thew. With that said, your love for Bruticus made me buy the G2 collector's pack, and it's the only combiner I own. And I'm kinda glad about that. Like I have 20 Optimuses and only 4 Megatrons because I'm THAT picky. And my only combiner out of the whole line is Threwticus.

Now that was interesting Knockoff beatdown. I let you little secret from my TF collection: I own upsized 2007 TF Classics Deluxe Class Megatron knockoff. I have forgot what was it name and who made it, but I have kept that ever since I get it.
I got my 6-1 Morphotron for £2.99
It's great, especially for that price. Also right now they've got Leader Class Combiner Wars Figures for 2 for £15.00. Currently there's just a Leader Class Rook, First Aid and Streetwise, but I've heard two more versions are coming in your local shop's next delivery, so there's that.
I've got the original Shadow Emissary and one of those KO's which are great stand ins for displaying him in other modes and a cheap way to do all six! Never got around to that though! Cheers for the vid!

You had me an the mental prowl breakdown.
got a knockoff little star saber. about the size of a small deluxe. showed its vehicle mode on a box I got for Christmas. (2nd one of it i got not the other came alone and didn't really have a great show of the vehicle mode. it showed the bottom of the ship making it look like a little robot.) o saw it was a jet and tried to transform it. the upper part of the leg hinge for transformation were pretty much WELDED stuck. thought it was stiff. broke it.
