Personally I like Megatronia and her components individual characterization better than the Torch Bearers. I just like the theme of combiner teams being a collection of weirdos that can form together to become a nigh-unstoppable behemoth (like a lead flier who is afraid at flying, a sleazy salesman in a military squad, and the many _many_ personality issues the stunticon have).

I absolutely adore this set but dear god the names (Megaempress excluded) are so terrible. So naturally I renamed them all.
Moonheart > Pulsewave (because she's got some relation to Soundwave and it sounded cool)
Lunaclub > Windburn (because she's got fire abilities, she can fly and windburn is an actual thing)
Trickdiamond > Razequeen (pun on "race queen")
Flowspade > Motorhead (Because music. Also in my collection she's Shockwave's lab partner and weapons tester who is obsessed with LOUD NOISES, be it gunfire, heavy metal or just the sound of her own engine)
But yeah, excellent review as always!
PS: I met you at TFNation (I was the Beasty Converters bloke) and I'm still giddy about it.

Gee it's almost like media should have exposed Boys to Girls more at a young age (Cough Hasbro not releasing Arcee toys or Allowing Females robots on the Cartoon until forced to. Cough) Cause and Effect. As it Stands Boy of my Generation wanted the Girls to be like Arcee, Lady J, Teela or Chetara whilst the Girls wanted the Boys to be like Ken or Bow.... which explains a lot.

I was thinking the same thing. White Crasher....I mean Jazz, Inferno, Darkwing, Dreadwind, Grimlock, Slag, Swoop, Snarl, Sludge, Starscream, Sinnertwin, Cutthroat, Blot, Rippersnapper and Hun-Gurrr are all pretty much confirmed as CW style combiners. The Predacons are another titan combiner. Slash and Cindersaur are probably the sixth members to the Dinobots and Terrorcons respectively. There's the possible Battletrap legends scale duocon combiner. Not to mention that Elita-1, Moonracer and Firestar are probably all CW combiners too.

That's what it seems. Grimlock as the voyager torso with Slag, Swoop, Snarl and Sludge as the deluxe limbs with a legends Slash as a possible sixth member. All seemingly "G1" Generations/PCC Grimstone style. Almost all of the pictures and news stories about the leaks were deleted by request of Hasbro but you can still find a few grainy shots if you do a "power of the primes" google search. There's several TH-cam videos showing the pictures as well.
As to what they'll combine into, we can only hope it isn't the Beast...or Dinoking for that matter. I hate when people keep naming their Dinobot combiners "Dinoking" as that name is already taken by an actual combiner with the Monstructor redeco.
I took my Megatronia off the shelf while watching your review, and I noticed that you can peg the sword to her back.
Basically the small "custs" in the 5mm pegs on the backside of the sword fits perfectly to the ladder border.

Too bad we didn't get more Seeker limbs. I wanted Starscream with Thundercracker and Ramjet as arms. Instead we got like 4 recolors of Limb Starscream, though that DOES introduce the possibility of an absolutely ridiculous all-Starscream combiner.

Judge Pickel was repainted in the MLP and Transformers crossover comic into Rainbow Dash's Targetmaster weapon mode for Starscream to use against King Sombra and Scorponok.
I've been thinking of making a custom siege megaempress using impactor as a base because his chest plate is similar and he turns into a tank that looks like a converted mining vehicle which is similar to megatron's backstory the only problem is the head

I don't think this set was made to be progressive. It's just a silly genderdent megatron and her harem.
I think is a very clever decition , kids like this set because is transformers, girls because is girls, adult guys because it just looks better than victorion and perverts because of that artwork

Though that doesn't mean the rest isn't great either. It's a very-well done video review!
As for Megatronia herself, I'm currently pondering about buying her in the future. Since I got back into collection Transformers (around TF Prime/Fall of Cybertron), I've been struggling with the imbalance between Autobots and Decepticons, so getting second Decepticon combiner (my first is Bruticus) would be pretty cool.
Not to mention that Megatronia looks visually so much more appealing than Victorion - while I already liked the retooling of the molds (not to mention that I generally like the Hotspot/Onslaught Mold, so I'm happy that HasTak went with that mold for Victorion's Torso), the color scheme was a bit too same-y for my liking. Megatronia's color scheme on the other hand kicks ass - it's vibrant and manages to connect all members of the team while also ensuing that everyone of them looks unique.
