Lumpy is such a sweetheart also not just the look of the first pen but the machenics are also very unique it literally follows the "syringe" pattern as i like to call it and you write so well your handwriting is pretty

I was also on a quest for a black pen, I chose the Pilot Custom 74 in Black
I've never written with the Custom 74. How are you liking it? There aren't many pilot nibs that I don't enjoy! I'm sure it's amazing!!
I love all of these pens. My favorite is the Platinum 3776 Shape of Heart, but I do love the matte look of the Raven and the Vanishing Point.

I got the standard Estie Raven, love the pen and I'm currently waiting for the push piston version to come out again to buy it. LOVE the matte black and the feel of this pens ❤️

I just received mine today. I have Diamine red dragon in it. Very Halloweenish. This extra fine nib is the smoothest one I own. Love it! Thank you for your videos. They are great!

Oh my gosh, the Raven is such a beautiful matte black pen! I was torn between it and the Benu Hallowed Harvest for my fall pen purchase, and I went with the latter. I may need to add the Raven back on to my wish list!

When I 1st saw the "Raven" I new it was a winner. Tried to order one, but could only find it in the Standard Edition. I'm happy with that, though. I really don't care for Piston Pens. Difficult to clean thoroughly. It maybe "sour grapes", but I like the cleaner lines of the Standard Model. Don't post it! Doodlebud's review shows what happens. Shiny spots. I would hate that.
I just ordered the Raven and can’t wait for it to arrive. Chose the cartridge version instead as I find them easier to clean out and I like the uniformity of the pen without the ink window

I love the look of the Raven! I considered ordering one, but I couldn’t find the button fill pen anywhere. So I ended up ordering a black Visconti Homo Sapien this week. 😊

I have the OG Noodler's Ahab Raven Black with a flex nib, more artistic fountain pen than a dedicated writer. Got it with a Wonder Pens exclusive Raven Black ink. Pairing is sublime on the page.

I recall you mentioned one time that you were thinking of getting your 149 nib worked on. As an avid 149 user, I can share with you that I would be very very hesitant with giving my 149 to any one to grind. I have had one ground to EEF by the cream of the crop nibmeister.... and yet I find it less pleasant to write with than the modern EF [like the one you have. :) Cheers and keep up the good work.
Thank you! The more I use my 149, the better it gets. If I ever have work on it it won't be until next year during pen show season. I'm leaning toward leaving it as is. I love it! Not sure about the dust as it's brand new, but I imagine it will show dust more than multicolor pens. Thanks for watching!
