After 4+ years with the 535i, i have now an amazing 540i G30 M Sport (RWD) and what a car... ! F10 always gonna have a special place in my heart though.

Bmw halt da gibts keine Probleme sogar bei meinem 318i mit 167.000 km hatte ich noch nie Probleme

Ich tanke Standard-Diesel ausschließlich bei Aral, jede 3-4 Tankladung gönn ich mir Ultimate. Mein Fahrprofil ist größtenteils Langsstrecke, aber auch Kurz 2 bis 3 Km zum nächsten Supermarkt. Kundendienst nur beim Vertragshändler. Hab aber meinen 530d letzte Woche für gutes Geld verkauft, er wird mir fehlen.
Der Regler worauf würdet ihr achten wollte mir einen 525d kaufen ?

SportPlus - Break - Kickdown - Break release perfectly on 2000 rpm - in my opinion the fastest start for this car (if it has no launch control)
Acceleration seems a bit slow compared to my remapped 335d! Had a new 2014 520d before the 335 and it was a beautiful car to drive. Used to drive from England to Spain in it and after 1300 miles, I would get out as fresh as a daisy. Amazing mile eater.
Of course 335d ist lighter and faster 😊
@@TESTDRIVEFREAK And 313 bhp compared to the 258bhp on the 530d. Nowhere near as comfortable as the 5 series though. If I had the choice, I'd actually take the 530d, as a touring. 👍

@@TESTDRIVEFREAK I'm better off with just the 530d or else I drive like an idiot. I just cannot drive fast cars slowly! That's the very reason I recently sold my 335d for an Audi Q7.
Also zum diesem Video kann ich nuhr schone worte sagen, hat der college sehr gut gemacht.Ein toller BMW 530d m-sportpaket mit sehr guter ausstattung ,auch mit LED scheinwerfer super geil. Nur so weiter Junge ,wir BMW fans freuen uns schon uber noch so coole videoss. cuss.

Really nice and detailed video. Only thing i would like is to record its idle but not move camere (tripod recomended). I like to hear clean idle sound :) but i managed to pick up some of it from outside recording while car war running. Keep up good work and congrats guys :)

Ich besitze ein 530d XDrive EZ10/14 bin begeistert. Zur info: Nach 5 Jahren muss mann die datierte Motorenhaube Teleskopfedern austauschen. Sonst wird Dekra TÜV abgelehnt.

hast du das auto noch? wie schauts aus mit der qualität. man hört ja ncihts wirklich gutes in den letzten 6-7 jahren über bmw und neueren autos allgemein. vielle "sollbruchstellen" sozusagen damit man schön bram am erstatzteile kaufen ist... die werden für 200tsd gebaut und das wars, danach geht der spaß so richtig los.
stimmt hatte ich nur probleme damit .. Dachte es ist ein 6 zylinder BMW die halten doch ewig aber nein.Steuerkettengeräusche , Injektoren,Xdrive Probleme und und und .. Genau 200tsd sollte man kein BMW kaufen , denn du fährst zur Werkstatt oder holst das Auto von der Werkstatt ab.

do you happen to know if all the 530d f10 models are single twin scroll turbo or bi-turbo like the e60??
what i know is the f10 530s have just one turbocharger
even E60 530d was single turbo no ? 535d was biturbo
Of course I understand customers of BMW, even diesel owners, want a roar and high RPM's on the engine, so I guess that is the only reason why the auto is made to switch gears at RPM too high over the peak torque.
Gear shifts on diesel typically have to be calculated with gear ratios and peak torque RPM.
Looked it up, this car has peak torque around 2000-2500RPM, so the gear switch RPM (Considering its an 8 speed and gears are relatively short) for best acceleration would be around 2500-3000 rpm, no matter how weird it sounds.
Everyone is used to getting RPM's to the end, because petrol cars in fact do have their peak torque at around 4000-6000 RPM, so yes, petrol cars do need RPM's to go to the end, otherwise you will drop the gear below peak torque
I own a 525TDS E39, that is no power machine but I calculated RPM's for best gear switches and they sound weird, but in fact you can feel that the best acceleration comes from there.
1>2 3600RPM
2>3 3200RPM
3>4 3200RPM
4>5 2800RPM
My peak torque comes at 2200 RPM
Peak torque may come at a lower RPM but peak power comes at a higher RPM. My 118d is on a stage 1 remap pushing 202bhp and 423nm, the Bhp peaks between 3500-3700 whereas peak torque is between 2500-2700 but when at 2500-2700rpm, bhp is around 140-160bhp and so in actual fact the loss of power in lower rpm is greater loss than the loss in torque at 3500-3700rpm.

Is it only the newer one that has launch control? I've got a 2012 530d and it doesn't have it. Mind you it's still almost as fast as this i think it does 0-100kmph in 5.9.

Der M550dx F10 wurde mit 20,1 sek auf 200km/h gemessen..... 22 Sekunden sind wenn dann für einen 535d F10 der gut im Futter liegt plausibel, aber für einen 30d?
+Der Dum mit allrad bei 535d xdrive oder m550d xdrive macht auto langsamer, schau unter meine kanal top 15 bmw acceletation, da kann man es vergleichen :)

so whats the consumption i have the 520d, and if I let it run abit it makes 8 l/100km otherwise i need to drive very slowly . wont pay more taxes, insurance and diesel just for a bit of more power as the 520d have plenty, that 20l per 100km on the instruments....

hey leute kennt sich jemand mit der tachofarbe aus bei diesen f10 modellen? Mal orange, mal weiss. Kann man das beliebig ändern ? Bei Minute 9:14 sieht man, dass das tacholicht weiss wird und dann wieder orange. Hängt es damit zusammen welches Licht er benutzt? (z.b TAgfahrlicht oder fernlicht etc.) Ich finde der f10 sieht mit dem weissem tacholicht besser aus.

I have 535d, and about 400hp / 700Nm.
Did you remap or modify it? Pretty sure they had 310bhp and 640nm as standard seeing as a friend has one and it literally tells you in idrive the power output of the car lol.
