Hi Everyone. I am 53 and have been taking this for 3 months now. The first thing I noticed in about 2 weeks is that my skin is more moisturized and softer; and today I can say that my joint pain has been considerably reduced. It really works.
@@davemckinnley6565 exactly. Doctor are vicious businessmen. They dont tell ull the permanent cure. Because think of it. A sick patient is a doctors customer.
Me and my wife are doing a strict form of paleo. At the same time we took two scoops of the natural flavored vital proteins. 11 months strong. I feel it helps with our skin. We are hoping since we both lost a lot of weight that it helps bounce back the skin and we feel it is. My hair grows wild…along with ear hair…eye brows..nose hair..
Planning to do intermittent and lose 80 lbs. Hope collagen will help bounce back skin. Am a little worried due to collagen fibrosis risk. Not looking to get hairier either 😉 thx 4 the comment 👍🏻
Hi, I have been taking Vital protein callogen for 1year and 6 months, huge difference with my joints, hair skin and wrinkles around my eyes and upper lips I am 43 years old, I also noticed a difference with my energy. Great product.
I am 54 and have been taking it on and off but I went back to taking it with my coffee and my skin is way better and yes, i do not have joint pains when I run.But the best part is my nails which used to be so soft and easily breaks is now healthier & stronger. Yes, this is worth the hype!
For me, this collagen works very well from the day one! I started to take this because of my dryness. I have dry skin, eyes, lips and it was really helpless even though I drink water more than 1L every day and don't drink coffee. On the first day, I took this around 8pm and went bed around 11pm, the next morning I felt some moisture on my lips and my eyes were not that dry!!! It really save my life...
I suffer from cystic acne. I’m currently taking 25mg zinc, 5000 iu of vitamin D, and 2 scoops of Vital Collagen daily. I’m not sure which one of those is causing my cystic acne to go away, but ever since I added those 3 supplements, I’ve seen a drastic improvement in my acne and skin!
I've been struggling with a really bad acne in the past but now is ok. I've been obsessed about reading everything about it in order to improve it. Looking at your stack it looks good but I would add Niacin and Digestive Enzymes to it. Your low acid lvl may manifest by acne and plenty of other autoimmune diseases. There is very good video about digestive enzymes on MorePlateMoreDates channel. Niacin has been proven to raise NAD lvl and is recommended by top lvl people in longevity community(For instance Dr. Sinclair) for years. It's been also proven to help for acne, mitochondria and skin health in general. Since you are on this channel I guess you eliminated carbs. I guess removing diary and sugar is obvious as well. If I would help somehow it would make my day. Good luck ;)
I have also been taking this for a while and have noticed my thin hair and fingernails growing and looking better. My skin is looking better as well (I too was a sun worshipper in my younger days!). People are always surprised to hear that I have children that are around 30 years old. I am 54. Great video, thank you!
I have been taking collagen off and on for a few years and it does make a difference. Recently I realized that my fingernails were breaking and splitting like when I was younger, and I had not been taking it for a while. I had run out of it and never replaced it, so I added it back into my daily regimen. It improves my skin’s appearance too, which is wonderful perk for someone like me (age 58). Not forgetting to buy it any more! I am sold on this stuff and made sure I got my dog more chews instead of treats, which are collagen for him too, which helps my dog (age 13) stay mobile as well. Great video JT!
I take this exact brand of collagen and swear by it also!!! I'm currently 66 years old and several years ago, I was having issues with walking and my joints. I didn't have a car and had to walk everywhere. I was in a lot of pain and my right knee would want to buckle on me without any warning and that scared me to death. Also I was no longer able to walk up or down stair due to this. I took them like a child...step up with one foot and then bring the other foot up. I honestly thought I would need one of those motorized wheel chairs! I don't know how I discovered Vital Proteins but I prayed about it and was led to this amazing product. Well, I no longer have any buckling of my knee, no more pain at all and I can take the stairs like a big girl now!!! I mean it is just incredible what this stuff has done for my joints. And if that wasn't enough, my hair, nails and my skin are incredible! The skin all over my entire body is just amazing! This stuff is incredible and I will never stop taking it. I take it daily...won't be without it and if I miss a few days, my joints will start to hurt and my knee will buckle so I know it really works! I would do a commercial for this stuff, lol! 😂
Hey there, I take vital proteins and they are fantastic. I actually take vital proteins macha, vital proteins bovine type, and vital proteins marine type . Taking this combination of all three types has given me seriously smooth plump skin, my hair which was thinking as I am premenopausal has gotten so much thicker including my thinning sides!! I just use half a scoop of all three of the different vital proteins and this combination works for me , my results are amazing I am 50 years old and barely have a wrinkle!! Been taking this combination for 5 years!!!
Susan that is so awesome! Sounds like you are getting some great results. Thank you for sharing. I'm sure many people will find your input valuable! Thanks again!
Vitamin A, also Kale shakes blended with distilled water, sea salt dash turmeric, ginger black pepper differently cinnamon, maybe a dash of nutmeg. You can add dab of can vanilla extract great for reducing inflammation. Make surekale is frozen first. I also add lemon which is a must to help prevent gallstones. But, you know all this your a keto coach. Turmeric is great for joint pain. ACV with water helps with digestion. We pretty much are what we digest. Have a great day.
The fingernail thing! YES! Lol. I've never been able to grown my nails to any real length throughout my life, which never really bothered me because I'm so clumsy they'd just end up being lethal weapons. When I switched to low carb, they began strengthening to the point where I actually had to clip them, rather than just tear them off. Then when I added a collagen supplement, they started to grow at what seemed to be double the speed they used to. Just for fun I decided to see how long I *could* grow them and I ended up with a full set of manicure-looking talons, just from filing the edges smooth every few days. Of course the clumsy factor meant that they really did become lethal (I scratched my face at least twice with them) and touch-typing became a nightmare, so I ended up clipping them all off again because I just wasn't comfortable having them that long. But it really was cool to see such a hugely noticeable effect from both switching to low-carb and then adding the collagen. It just sort of reinforced my belief that taking a collagen supplement would be beneficial and now I'll never stop taking it.
I can put my recommendation in the ring too. I’m a 38 Y/O powerlifter. And I was starting to notice my body not agreeing with me anymore. My knee clicked, my hips were so tight I was walking like John Wayne and my lower back was in permanent pain. Iv been adding a table spoon to my regular protein shakes for a few months and all pain has gone away. I was dubious when it was suggested to me, but it’s incredible. In addition, like one of your videos I had a small hard cyst in my eyebrow, it has also completely gone
Hey Ben, that's awesome to hear. It's quite interesting to hear more and more stories like yours. Thank you for posting. I'm sure your experience will be helpful to others. Getting older is frustrating especially when you're active. I'm very glad adding collagen to your nutrition plan has been helpful. I used to do quite a bit of lifting myself... been thinking about picking it up again. Thank you again for commenting.
I just started taking Vital Protein two weeks ago for Covid hair loss. I noticed that the darker funky skin under my eyes is clearing up already. I was hoping for improvement in my skin as well as hair, and very happy with this product.
Thank for sharing No Name. I just got done making another collagen video that included some comments. I wish I would have seen this one sooner. Thanks for sharing!
I've read many comments about taking it in the morning. I'm thinking of using it in pm routine with a big glass of water. Body heals itself while you sleep and it wouldn't break fasting in AM.
I take both of these too! I used to run ultra marathons too! I don't run at all anymore. I weightlift and rock climb now. I started doing keto before my first 100k. As a climber I notice my nails growing fast with the collagen and my hairdresser frequently comments on how fast my hair grows. I have beautiful hair now!
Hi Kristin! That's awesome to hear! I actually used to do a lot of rock climbing. Was even an instructor for a short time. Been thinking about climbing lately. Maybe getting back to it a little. Used to do a lot of weightlifting too. Curious, what made you start doing keto? I bet you love hearing your hairdresser comment on your hair! It's gotta feel good to look in the mirror and see how beautiful it is too! Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Rosemary, I hope you get all the results you're looking for. It's also important to make sure you are getting vitamin C, copper, zinc and silica to help your body make use of collagen. Hope that helps. I would love to know how it goes.
@@JTJaredTaylor I'm taking k2, magnesium, turmeric and 4000iu vit d. I'll now have to look at your suggestions. I was Keto for 2 years now low carb, previously for 25+ only veg and fruit. Unfortunately my bones and muscles have suffered, I'm healthy otherwise. I've been having Prolia injections for 3 years which I didn't want and fought against it nearly 8 years, but I had a bone density scan which indicated I'd lost 33% in 4 years. I've been fused from the L1 -L5 plus 2 attempts at attaching the minimus/muscles on the right hip and the minimus is tearing on the left and the medius is atrophied. Oh boy, sorry about the moaning but I thought I should explain a little. Can you suggest quantities for the vits you suggest. Cheers Rosemary Perth Western Australia (71 yrs)
@@roses9339 The Mayo clinic says the recommended amount for vitamin C is 75 milligrams (mg) a day for women and 90 mg a day for men. They also suggest not taking more than 2000 (mg) per day. Keto foods that are high in vitamin C include mustard greens, bell peppers, strawberries, brussels sprouts, broccoli, lemons and kale. If you want to see a video I made on this you can find it here. th-cam.com/video/ECO0tEXfAuI/w-d-xo.html The National Library of Medicine says the Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) for copper for adult men and women is 900 mcg/day (just under 1mg). “Keto/low carb” foods that contain copper include beef, liver, oysters, mushrooms, crab, sunflower seeds, turkey avocado and dark chocolate. Yum! The RDA for zinc is 8mg for women and 11mg for men. You can get zinc in foods such as include meat, shellfish, eggs, dairy, nuts, seeds, some veggies have small amounts like green beans and kale. You can also get zinc from dark chocolate. Mmmmm chocolaaaaate. My understanding is that there is not really a recommendation for how much silica we should consume but the FDA suggests not consuming more than 10-30 grams per day. If you are eating a good amount of leafy greens you’ll be getting enough silica. Basically, if you are your consuming whole foods with a little meat and preferably shellfish along with ample amounts of vegetables you should be getting good quantities of the above nutrients. Surprisingly many people don’t…. Hope this helps!
Great findings. I have been wondering why my hair and nails have been growing so fast lately, now I know it's because of the collagen peptides I started taking a while back.
It's only been about 5 weeks since I started. I noticed no swelling in my legs, i had a sore like a pimple, and it scabbed up within 5 days. I notice the same with finger nails and hair. Yes, i notice skin softness. I am trying small Exercises. am 62years old, I had polio as a child. I am in a wheelchair full time the the last five years.
Found it! Just commented on your 1st video of Vital Proteins Collagen, I believe your complexion looks better in this one as well! Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t bad in first but can definitely see difference! Thanks for awesome videos, off to the next!
Interesting review. For the hair, it might interest you to know that rosemary essential oil applied topically out-performed Minoxidil in a controlled blind study, and has other good effects. Might help you retain and further boost what you have - which is a good amount of hair. Using it myself, as menopause is causing temples to recede.
Thanks Jenny! And thank you for the suggestion. I've actually been considering trying rosemary oil. I guess I just need to do it and see what happens. Thanks again.
@@JTJaredTaylor U R welcome. I've seen vids on Y/tube from people who've seen great results from applying it in a carrier oil, only 2-3 times weekly, or adding it to shampoos and conditioners. I myself am trying the Weleda Rosemary tonic, and boosting it by adding in extra rosemary oil. It's cooling and pleasant on the scalp, and I don't mind the aroma, plus it doesn't make the hair look oily - which can be a major deterrent for me - as I hate all the wash day palaver! Good luck!

Hi Francine. You're absolutely right. It's not the only collagen that's good. It's just the one that I've taken the most. It's been really convenient because it's very easy for me to get when I go to Costco. Here are a few others that are really good: Ancient Nutrition th-cam.com/video/2ez-ue1u2AU/w-d-xo.html and Wholesome Wellness th-cam.com/video/9bCsygsnfNo/w-d-xo.html As for a sponsor? No, vital proteins has no idea who I am but I have gotten noticeable results and I'm happy about that. Thanks!
This is the first time I see any of your videos and I'm so glad it was the first one that came up when I searched for reviews for this collagen powder. My mom has been complaining of joint pain in the past few months and these last few weeks she's gotten worse, to the point that she had to use a cane today! I want her to see a Dr. about it but wanted her to try this powder in the meantime. I'm going straight to the store to buy it for her tomorrow. Hope it helps her with the pain. 🤞🏼 Thank you for sharing your review!
Hi Island Girl! I'm so glad you found this video and found it helpful. That makes me happy. Sorry to hear about your mom. Keep in mind it can take time to make a difference. Also be sure that she is getting a good amount of vitamin C and zinc. Please also note that a low carb ketogenic diet can help tremendously with joint pain. High amounts of sugar and carbs overtime can lead to inflammation which can be very painful in the joints. Just something to consider. I used to take pain killers (ibuprofen) every day because of aches and pains. Going on a ketogenic diet changed all that...Adding in collagen has helped even more. I'm certainly not a doctor so please don't consider anything I say as medical "advice". Just wanted to share a little more that may be helpful to you. I would still highly recommend seeing a doctor. Thanks again!
@Keto with JT thank you so much for the reply! Yes, I am aware thanks to your video and some of the comments, that it'll probably take her 6 months+ to see any results. Ironically, I had to bring her to the Dr today because she was in such excruciating pain she could hardly walk. So much that she couldn't even go to work. She had X rays done last week but everything looked normal, but the pain keeps getting worse and now it's all the way up to her waist. I'm hoping it's nothing serious, maybe a pinched nerve or something. I'm still going to keep giving it to her tho. I too, started taking it! I'm mixing mine with two scoops of PB Fit and lactose free milk and I love it! 😁
@@island_girl You're very welcome and thank you for sharing. I sure hope you see some progress both for you and your mom. Living with pain is so difficult. Especially when it's someone we love and feel like there isn't much we can do. Hang in there. Don't lose hope!
@@island_girl Hi, read about your mum, hope she is feeling better. Wanted to mention about Moringa powder, it's natural product from leaves and it's anti inflammation, it's amazing for knee pain. We use it for all sorts of joint pain.
I love this stuff, my nails are stronger, skin looks more hydrated and the biggest thing for me that I noticed was I can wear dresses without being self-conscious of having bruises on my legs because previous to taking this I would bruise easily even though I’m not anemic or have any other underlying condition.
Hi Doriel, Thanks for sharing. Sounds like you are noticing some good things so far. I've heard about both Biotin and saw palmetto. I just may take a closer look. Thank you.

Hi from Connecticut..👍 Such a nice video!? This is a great product, other day I got mine from Costco $21.99 sale price. I'm all set. Thanks. Keep posting more videos ❤️❤️
Thanks for this vedio and now im sure what i need. May i ask if there is any kind of collagen that can help with weight loss? I cant workout or run as i had operation and ankle injury.
You're welcome MeAna, sorry to hear about your ankle injury. I wouldn't think of "collagen" as a weight loss strategy. However I would highly recommend that you consider a low carb diet for weight loss. Just something to think about. Diet will be more important than exercise for weight loss in general. Hope that helps.
I bought it from Turkey. How to use? How much should I drink? How long do I have to wait? I am 32 years old, my skin is dry and wrinkled. + I smoke. Thank you!
1serving is 2 scoops. They say to mix it in water or your favorite drink. I usually put it in a smoothie or some herbal tea. Others like to put it in their coffee. It will take some time to see noticeable results. A few weeks? A few months? It's hard to say. Everyone is different.
Hi Marie, thank you for sharing! 2 years and 200% is a lot. 😁 Honestly I wasn't expecting tangible results. I was hoping but wasn't holding my breath. Now I'm just blown away and am very glad to have found this. It has opened my eyes to how important collagen is in general. Thank you again for your comment. Glad to hear that you've had a good experience.
Sasi! thank you so much for your comment! I just had another birthday and it's been on my mind! 😄😧. I would recommend costco first if you have one near you. After that, probably amazon. Been taking collagen, for a few years now, biggest noticeable difference, I had pain in outer thighs for YEARS, and it vanished. Also, knees have ALWAYS made crackling noise when squatting, or bending them, since I was a wiry teenager, this has vanished as well!!! No noticable difference in nails, skin or hair.
I'm sold on this product! My joint pain is so much less and I am much more functional. Arthritis sucks. Highly recommend and I tell all my friends about it.
So good to hear that. It's amazing how many people suffer from joint pain! I thought is was just normal as you get older..... It doesn't have to be! Thanks again for your comment. Glad it's helping you!

i have stopped losing my hair since taking collagen - I tried to vary the brands but Vital Proteins is my favorite - no taste in coffee and no sweeteners.
Hi CarolJean, That's interesting. I've found that even dermatologists don't agree on many details surrounding collagen supplements. Some recommend it and some say they don't work. After making these videos and seeing countless comments with people sharing positive results, I personally find that inaccurate (liquid only). I've also reviewed several studies that indicate otherwise. I never expected to see so many comments with positive feedback. It's certainly made me a believer. Hope that helps.
Have been using the neo sale brand and I can safely say about 6 years and I do the vital if I catch it on sale I have my local health food store but I really love my new cell 💯‼️👌🏼🥰🍷

Lowering carbs and sugar can greatly reduce inflammation which can go a long way to helping you with your joint pain. I hope you get the results you're looking for! Please let me know how it goes.
Hello again, why do some stores carry the original/unflavored with vitamin c and hyaluronic acid and others don’t? Which is best? Is one the newer formula? I heard some ppl saying the synthetic vit c is bad for u.
Hi Kimberly B! I believe the one with Vit C is a newer formula. In theory that would be better but I believe the vit C they're using is non GMO (not sure if it's synthetic). It is always best to get your vitamin C from natural sources if you can. Other than that there isn't much difference. Either one should be fine in terms of collagen. Hope that helps.
Thanks Kai, I actually have some moringa. Just haven't been taking it. To be clear I actually don't have "joint pain". Not on a day to day basis anyway. For me it would come up after long runs in rocky terrain. My goal was / is to not only limit or eliminate joint pain in those situation but also make the joints stronger and more durable. That said, I may have to consider taking the moringa as well. Thank you,
@@JTJaredTaylor I have arthritis and it has been a game changer for that symptom. Maybe not for just standard joint pain but has worked wonders for arthritis. It just needs to be taken daily consistently.
I was taking this from Costco but my medical doctor switched me to a liquid collagen with no carbs or sugar and 10 grams of protein be 2 tablespoons. Was a game changer and bigger results faster due to more peptides she said!

Wow I am about to finish my second canister of that collagen(vital proteins) and I was wondering if I am wasting my $$ of course I want to look younger, stronger nails, grow my hair etc,but my main goal is to do something for my lose skin if I lose weight, started keto this January and at the same time started with collagen your video is making me excited, thanks for sharing 🙏
Hi Florecita Happyy, thanks for sharing. It sounds like you're off to an exciting journey! And a good start! I'm glad my video is helpful for you! I'd love to hear how your keto adventure goes for you. If you are concerned about potential loose skin after weight loss I would highly recommend that you look into and consider adding intermittent fasting to your routine. I don't have videos on my channel on intermittent fasting yet but there a plenty out there that are really good. Just see if you think it fits for your situation. Thanks again for sharing. I wish you all the best. Have a wonderful weekend!
Hi Lambert, yes I did. It's hard to pinpoint but I want to say I started noticing things after a few months. Everyone is going to be different and it also depends very heavily on your diet in general. It's important to have vitamin C, copper, zinc and silica... Your body needs those nutrients to produce collagen. Adding collagen rich foods or a supplement makes the building blocks available but if you don't have the other nutrients your body won't be able to use those building blocks... Sorry for the long winded answer but I hope it helps.
@@1thinkhealthy Awesome! I would expect to see some results then. Might be very hard to notice at first but over time it will become more clear. Green beans and dark leafy greens contain silica. If you are getting some greens in your diet on a regular basis you likely have plenty of silica.
Hi Liam, honestly I'm not sure. I don't now much about sculptra and how collagen may help. I'd have to do a little research. Sorry I can't give you a better answer.
Hi, I would like to give it to my mother who is 75 years old for joint improvement. Please suggest, can I ask her to use it. If yes, pls let me know the quantity per day to be taken. Also suggest, can we take Marine & Peptides collagen alternative days
Hi Praveen! Unless your mother has some specific health condition that would preclude her from taking a collagen supplement I can't see any reason for her not too. I also don't see any reason to alternate between Marine and Bovine collagen (from cows). Both have type 1 collagen and Bovine has both type 1 and type 3. Hope that helps!
Hi JT 🤗 I've been taking collagen for almost a year and have always heard excellent reviews on it BUT i saw 1 comment that said u should not to any collagen cus it does something to the fact of it doing something with your Cancer cells and i cannot remember the correct wording but NOT I'M REALLY SCARED ABOUT THAT COMMENT. Can u please explain this cus i do not want to stop taking collagen. Thank you
Hi Tanya! I'm not an expert but I've heard that the opposite is true. An article by the MD Anderson Cancer Center indicates that collagen is important for cancer prevention. Here's a quote by Raghu Kalluri, M.D., Ph.D., chair of Cancer Biology. “Now, we understand that it is part of a cancer defensive strategy of the body. If we can better understand that strategy, even if it may be suboptimal, we can work to shore up our body’s natural defenses to have therapeutic impact.” Here's the article: bit.ly/3zIcCnQ They were mainly referring to pancreatic cancer. (which runs in my family) This article by the National Cancer Institute bit.ly/3N4wtka focuses on triple negative breast cancer. (the most aggressive form of breast cancer) talks about 2 different aspects of collagen. They suggest that collagen in a tumor can keep immune cells out but a lack of collagen can cause tumors to grow. Here's and excerpt: The research also highlighted the multiple roles of collagen. Although collagen can keep immune cells out of tumors, studies have also suggested that the loss of collagen can allow tumors to grow more rapidly. I think it's important to note that these studies are being done on existing tumors. When cancer is already present. They talk about the loss of collagen potentially allowing tumors to grow and not indicating that more collagen is cancer causing. Everyone is different and will respond to different foods and supplements in different ways. As you can see it's not a straight forward answer but it seems to me that there is more information supporting the positive benefits of collagen than negative in general and specifically with regard to the topic of cancer. As mentioned we are all different and of course its always best to talk to your doctor if you have questions or concerns about taking a supplement. Hope that helps.
I read that too. I remember over 59 years ago my mom going on about never taking vitamin E ( it makes things grow) and if you have a tumor in your body …. Anyway I read the same thing about collagen and they compared it to vitamin E and it scared me too.
Yes. Vitamin C is important for your body to make use of collagen. I don't take it with juice as I don't want all the sugar that comes in most juice. I take it in a green and berry smoothie, an herbal tea or keto hot chocolate. I eat a lot of foods that contain vitamin C so I usually don't worry about supplementing with it. Hope that helps.
Hi, marine collagen is good. Like all things it depends on how it's sourced. You want "wild caught" not farm raised. Both are "protein". There are many "types" of collagen. The difference is that marine collagen has type 1 which is good for your skin, bones, tendons and ligaments. Bovine collagen (sourced from cows) has type 1 and type 3. Type 3 is good for muscles, arteries and organs. If you are wondering what would be best for overall health (i'm not a doctor), you may want to consider a "multi-collagen" like Ancient Nutrition Multi-collagen protein. It has types 1, 2,3, 5 and 10. Hope that helps and isn't more confusing. Here are a couple of multi collagen brands you can look into if you want. I heard vital protein is only one type of protein, it’s not the same as bone broth. So I think consuming both is proper. *If just bones, *no veggies it doesn’t have calories, so you can consume in your ketosis window. Bone broth versus vital protein: They have different characteristics. I don’t have the specifics, but you can look it up. Dr Berg has a video on it. He breaks it down scientifically. Anyway, A look back: I was consuming vital protein for about 2 years, but I was adding to smoothies with fruit, nuts, seeds and veggies. I thought I was doing good? But then I was gaining so much much and incredible weight, and my arthritis was getting worse. So I had to do something: I actually stopped taking vital protein and the smoothies, and tried to figure out what to do? My Doctor was zero help. Just wanted to give me medication. I learned if you want change You have to do the research yourself. So, I narrowed my research, to Keto. I had done it past with great results but wasn’t committed for the long run. So again my journey begins with intermittent fasting. Since starting Keto again,I’ve lost noticeable inches, belly fullness is going, my clothes are looser, I don’t weigh myself. For me it’s not about numbers, it’s about comfort and inches. I haven’t re started Vital Protein yet, but I think I should restart it. I did start to consume bone broth though, and it’s yummy! I do make my own, however it can get expensive. But You can re-cook the same bones, I use a slow cooker, and cook 36 hours on warm amounts to 180 degrees. I think recooking the oxtails and other type beef, poultry, lamb, pork bones will help with being able to continue using bone broth. Lastly, I agree with how vital protein had really improved my skin and hair sheen and skin wrinkles and taunt ness was super noticeable. No help with arthritis, for me. However, Bone broth does help with arthritis, for me! Just to note: With bone broth I do notice less hair loss. With vital protein my skin overall was more taunt, and clear. The wrinkling on my hands and eyes were decreasing. Actually Quite Shocking. Since I stopped consuming vital protein my skin seems like it’s not as taunt or clear and wrinkles seem more apparent. So it seems like vital protein is the outer aid, and bone broth the inner aid, for me, I guess. I hope this helps someone deciding. Thanks for your video, and I think your skin looks great!!! Your neck looks smooth, and not saggy and that’s another thing I noticed when consuming vital protein.
Hi Mirada! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your story in such detail! It's interesting to hear about your experience and I'm sure it will be helpful for many.
Thanks for sharing your experience Young. I'm glad it's been helpful for you.
What supplement did you get if you don't mind sharing?
I suffer from cystic acne. I’m currently taking 25mg zinc, 5000 iu of vitamin D, and 2 scoops of Vital Collagen daily. I’m not sure which one of those is causing my cystic acne to go away, but ever since I added those 3 supplements, I’ve seen a drastic improvement in my acne and skin!
Awesome!
Thank you !
This happened to me! After a month of collagen supplements my skin is clearer, glowing and all my acne is gone

I love this story. Thank you for sharing! This is awesome.

The National Library of Medicine says the Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) for copper for adult men and women is 900 mcg/day (just under 1mg).

Thanks and you're very welcome. It seems like everything is getting more expensive these days... I hope it goes well for you!
You look brighter and your skin looks less stressed...you look great.
Thank you! I really appreciate it!
I agree about the hair. My hairstylist said my hair is also the best it has ever. My nails grow faster, but continue to break easily.
I have been taking Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides for probably 4 or 5 months now (I just turned 25 in Jan.) and I love it! I take it with water! I did not pay attention to results just took it! I noticed my hair and nails grown much faster (my nails and hair grew good before but now faster), my nails are stronger, I feel like my skin is glowing a little bit. I also take Andrew Lessman's Essential 1 multivitamin (a cleaner multivitamin) too.
KrystalNicoleeee, that is so awesome! Thanks for sharing! Wish I started taking it when I was 25! 😄
KrystaNicoleee have you tried Andrew Lessman's Collagen products? I take "anything" Andrew Lessman, because I prefer natural products and I believe in his research and his products.
Have you seen any difference in your eye lashes?
Today is my first day trying this product and I'm already honestly impressed. I just feel good. Can't wait to see how I feel taking this everyday. And no I'm not a placebo type person I have a high tolerance for alot of things and I'm generally pretty pessimistic lol
Hi Jennifer, thanks for sharing your personal experience. I excited for you. I look forward to hearing how it goes. I like the mention about "placebo" as well. When someone gets a positive result people are often quick to cry "placebo!" I've gotten that a few times. Thanks again for sharing!

I hope it's helpful for you Caroline.
Im 52 and have been taking it for 3 years now…..same with my nails and hair. My wife is a hair dresser and always says my hair has gotten thicker….although its all grey now, LOL. But Im told all the time I only look 35-40….my crows feet have all but disappeared. I also seem to get better recovery after the gym. Im actually getting some gains muscle wise. I take vital proteins in my coffee daily….and some bulletproof chocolate collagen at night in a smoothie.

I've been taking it to help heal gut. I haven't used it to long going on 3 months but my spouts of diarrhea have gotten about 85% better. I have been using this and the one from perfect keto but something is working
Glad it's helping you Redwine! Thanks for sharing. I know it's an uncomfortable topic.
Hey Redwine, are you lactose intolerant by any chance? I am, I cut out milk, butter, etc and started feeling better, but I still would cheat and eat like a milk chocolate bar here and there or, a pastry with milk in it. Once I cut that stuff out my gut felt great.

He must be a sponsor for vital this is not the only collagen that’s good🤔💯‼️
Hi Francine. You're absolutely right. It's not the only collagen that's good. It's just the one that I've taken the most. It's been really convenient because it's very easy for me to get when I go to Costco.
Here are a few others that are really good:
Ancient Nutrition th-cam.com/video/2ez-ue1u2AU/w-d-xo.html
and Wholesome Wellness th-cam.com/video/9bCsygsnfNo/w-d-xo.html
As for a sponsor? No, vital proteins has no idea who I am but I have gotten noticeable results and I'm happy about that. Thanks!
But this is the one he used and can tell what it did for him in 6 months.
I'm waiting on mines to be delivered today I should have ordered it 3 months ago when I thought about it but today is today
Thank you for sharing your review!

I love this stuff, my nails are stronger, skin looks more hydrated and the biggest thing for me that I noticed was I can wear dresses without being self-conscious of having bruises on my legs because previous to taking this I would bruise easily even though I’m not anemic or have any other underlying condition.
Thank you for sharing Isabella. You sound like you are very please with the results you're getting.

A GP said that collagen makes no difference unless it's liquid collagen ... Now I'm confused - Interesting video

When I take this specific callagen my nails grow pretty quick.
Thanks for the video. Been taking it for a few weeks now.
Did you see any noticeable results before the 6 months period and if so about how long?
Hi Lambert, yes I did. It's hard to pinpoint but I want to say I started noticing things after a few months. Everyone is going to be different and it also depends very heavily on your diet in general. It's important to have vitamin C, copper, zinc and silica... Your body needs those nutrients to produce collagen.
Adding collagen rich foods or a supplement makes the building blocks available but if you don't have the other nutrients your body won't be able to use those building blocks... Sorry for the long winded answer but I hope it helps.
@@JTJaredTaylor I do have most of that in my diet. Not sure about silica.
@@1thinkhealthy Awesome! I would expect to see some results then. Might be very hard to notice at first but over time it will become more clear. Green beans and dark leafy greens contain silica. If you are getting some greens in your diet on a regular basis you likely have plenty of silica.

If we can better understand that strategy, even if it may be suboptimal, we can work to shore up our body’s natural defenses to have therapeutic impact.” Here's the article: bit.ly/3zIcCnQ
They were mainly referring to pancreatic cancer. (which runs in my family)
This article by the National Cancer Institute bit.ly/3N4wtka focuses on triple negative breast cancer.
Anyway I read the same thing about collagen and they compared it to vitamin E and it scared me too.
hey im JT too! And very informative video thank you

Do you take it with juice or other vitamin C? I’m hearing that taking it with vitamin C is important.
How often I should take this collagen. One time a day or every time I refill my water bottle?
I would suggest just once per day. That's what I've been doing and I've noticed good results.
hes 115 years old and still look young woa😮🤯
I’m taking marine collagen .. should I be taking protein collagen ? Is there a difference . ?

Anyway,
A look back: I was consuming vital protein for about 2 years, but I was adding to smoothies with fruit, nuts, seeds and veggies. I thought I was doing good?
But then I was gaining so much much and incredible weight, and my arthritis was getting worse.
So I had to do something:
I actually stopped taking vital protein and the smoothies, and tried to figure out what to do?
I agree with you about bone broth. I've been intending on getting in the habit of consuming bone broth on a regular basis... just haven't gotten around to it yet. I also plan to do both. Thanks again. Have a wonderful week!
@@JTJaredTaylor thank you so much, and I am so glad to help. We help each other by sharing, and not every experience is the same so it helps to read different ideas.
@@justatitle Yes we do don't we. That's the hope anyway (helping each other). And THAT is so true! "not every experience is the same". We are all different and respond to things in different ways. Thanks again!
