A little context for anybody who thinks it's insane he destroyed a house for a short video or are curious about cleaning up.
He said it's his grandparents old house and they died. The house got demolished afterwards.
In Japan, buildings are rarely designed to last longer than 50 years (earthquakes and typhoons will do that to ya). Repairing one of these old houses and bringing it up to code will often cost more than the building is worth, so people will just tear down the old house and put up a new one. So he probably had inherited this house that was worth very little and decided do something fun before it inevitably got demolished. So it's not wasteful.
It's also really common in rural areas to build a new house next to the old one and leave the old one standing for storage if you have the land for it. It's also common to buy a large piece of land and let your children build their own house next to yours when they grow up. It's quite possible that Nana or his family have been living on this plot for a long time and will continue to do so, which makes it really easy to do projects like this with few resources. Destroying the house for this video was probably a happy event, giving it a good send-off so the next generation can build a new home there.

I love that you are great at horror but also have a light-hearted and absurd sense of humor.
I think comedy and horror actually share a weird familiarity. People who know horror are more often than not also funny in my experience (for example Stephen King, Jordan Peele, and I believe David Cronenburg is said to be funny as well) The inverse is less common I think but they do share

The whole time of watching Markiplier react to the video of My house walk-through, I'm constantly wondering how did they do such an incredible job of designing the whole thing since it was very detailed. At first, I thought it was a production with many crew since doing all of those takes a great deal of time, and watching this on how they did it? Words of compliment aren't enough!!
