"Alice Schach and the Magic Orchestra" is a musical group in Japan, consisting of two members, Nene Akagawa and Yuni Minami.
Our song features characters such as "Alice Schach" and we express various stories using our own language called "Alician".
One of the main features of the group is that it is self-produced, with the members themselves taking charge of a wide range of aspects such as songwriting, arrangement, performance, video, and design, while inviting illustrators and animators for each song.

    Thank you for watching!
English translated lyrics are as follows:
    ----------------------------------------
    KILLED BY ANGEL (English Translation)
Now, spit out all your fears
    Let’s become one
    I’ll send nutrients
To every corner of your starving cells
“I’m fed up with your insane delusions”
    Why, I’m telling the truth
Yet the strange doctrine tries to behead me
    With a rusty red guillotine
“Everything about your existence annoys me”
As you wished, I shouldn’t have been born into this fucking world
You spew your desires into the womb, and when you no longer need it, it‘s off to the trash bag
Soon to be crushed inside the truck, it’s such a beautiful, beautiful fate
That’s right, it’s all because of this poorly made brain
This is the culprit of all the suffering
    Just collapse already
    Just collapse!
    My poor little baby
Thrown into the darkness in tatters
    Bury such an ugly body
    Follow the guidance of heaven
    “Even God will abandon you”
Inhaling the ecstatic helium, let me soar beyond the rainbow
Looking down upon all the lies, shaming them with a high voice
You will never be able to touch me, the reborn me

That could also make sense of the title: "Killed by angel" angel is a innocent creature after all, so is a newborn/kid. And the mother died all by herself after giving birth..

Yeah, I think the same. Cause like, (idk her name btw) child was climbing on it, and then it turned that umbilical cord was wrapped around her mother's neck. It also can be interpreted as kid "killed" her mother@@MusicMistery

This feels like if her mother had to die for her to be born, so people said "an angel took her away" and it can be interpreted as killed by angel. And everything comes from de weight of it. The father that lookis like a monster influence a lot too...

    • @Autistic_Emperor
      @Autistic_Emperor หลายเดือนก่อน +8

The way the father of Heor looks like a monster may represent abusivement and suffering he could have put them both through, perhaps causing the suicide of Heor's mother. The way at the end Heor gets “reborn” and turns into this angel like thing may also link to the name of this music video, and how when Heor climbed up the umbilical cord Heor looked like they were strangling her, thus the name “killed by angel” may also be one of the reason it’s named this.

Ive just been rewatching this over and over, it's making me cry and touches my heart so much. Heor is a wonderful character. Seeing her self-destructive tendencies are caused by how she's felt responsible for her mother's death, forced to live in a Hell on earth with her father until she can break free and "ascend", medication being given to her never truly easing the pain (great depiction with the plush doctor sloughing over after giving her a bunch of junk happiness meds). The end where she gains her wings is so beautiful

i'm seeing a recurring theme now that each child has a background of dealing with abuse and being domineered/controlled by others. Heor lives with her abusive father, Alishka was part of a cult of fanatics and Salatoga was trapped in a lab of sorts (or circus, I dont remember if it was literal or he was imagining it). Hope Alice can help them escape from these wicked places (so long as she's able to escape her own hell first) Great song as always!

My theory is the child was born from SA and her mother was either killed and It was made to look like she hanged or she actually committed.
All the colorful parts of the MV would be the child dreaming or longing for her mother. We also see the father is abusive.
The child medicates heavily and is depicted dead from overdose at the end, this also makes me think the scenes with her mom could've been hallucinations.
Overall, this song slaps, has relatable lyrics that can be applied to many relations and I'll might even animate It.

After watching this over and over for the last few days, all of the details make so much more sense
I think despite Heor being a very obviously unplanned child, the mother was willing to accept her, the beginning of the song's lyrics showing how she wants to raise Heor while the father chastises her with phrases like "I'm fed up with your insane illusions" and "Everything about your existence annoys me", which cuts to show the mother crying
Despite how she wants to be there for Heor, she acknowledges "Yet this strange doctrine tries to behead me with a rusty red guillotine", that it will be her undoing, which ultimately is exactly what happens and is what Heor looks towards for guidance in what to do about her having to take on the abuse from the father (Heor becomes the new victim to the father's abuse)
The end where they hug shows that Heor's mother truly embraces her, both literally and metaphorically through the imagery

(i am writing this in the POV that heor is the one singing)
this song has a really unholy level feeling of "the child originally made the mother want to kill herself" upon discovery, but clearly very deeply was loved and adored and cherished by her, they used to hang out, probably share interesting niches, support each other and talk about getting freedom/getting away from the abuse all the time considering both the intonation and emotional flow of voice and the complexity and depth of the themeing and artwork (if her and her mother even actually lived together- heor has a slightly different style to both of them, and the mother seems out of it most of the time, elegant and... unusually distant, like a porcelain figure or a teen that hangs out with friends or a different lover a lot. very angelically depicted, i noticed. also, did that little raggy sewn doll get made by heor's mother?)
the ending of the hallway showed the hallway smeared in blood, but did not show dead heor, just her smiling, indicating that in this point of her young childhood, she's still happy and has something to continue living for. she has hope (or, the school incident hasn't happened yet)
but then the father being depicted burning out a cigarette so hard on her it could almost crumple into her skull, to that being exactly when his face changes and she starts really realizing her mom looks less "blank" and more like she's seen some serious shit from him but puts it away for her little daughter, maybe sings to her, even, to the depiction in the toilet, to the depiction of the "angels" being genuine angels, yes, but grouped together like schoolgirls that just bullied somebody (potentially, this could have been a genuine incident that led to having to go to the doctor's, then nursed/being given medication as depicted climbing the umbilical cord resting in her peaceful childhood home in the womb 'neath her faceless, warm and angelic mother then coming to reality as the loopy meds wear down to remind her what's real, then being on psychiatric "happy" meds, then falling apart and just being on drugs at that point)
to the depiction of the mother knelt down, praying, head missing
but heor hallucinating, in her dying moments, her mother's tender, extremely gentle and loving face melting away, face partially blank but friendly and the other half eye bulging as if she's had her head smashed or she's been shot or run over-
i think heor's father actually may have murdered her mother, or someone killed her (but i thoroughly believe it was the father, even if the face in his pics did already look monstrous post-cigarette incident.) the mother also may have had an overdose or two before she was killed, and it's possible that may be what caused him to turn on her if heor was already being talked about during at least one of these events. (after all, the mother's name could be angel? looseleaf thought. "killed by angel" and, honestly, she looks like an EXTREMELY young mother.)
she now registers her mother's photos as headless or faceless and she now registers her father's face as that of a monster, now that she fully lives alone with him and he clearly didn't exactly want her around. (i really hope this wasn't an early childhood memory of hers.)
i think she broke down extremely hard when her mother died, and may have also bore witness to it. (there's lots of little moments where it's indicated that she mentally slipped after her mother's life was taken.)
i think the girls at the school attacked and stabbed her at some point (girls get depicted as little angels by their moms and families pretty often when they've done wrong, and to those girls, heor may have seemed funny or weird), and because of that, she was hospitalized. they took note of her extremely poor mental state after coming off the pain medication and healing, recommended therapy after the attack (the limp and kinda distracted doctor pushing happy pills in response to what happened), eventually was placed in psych care, lost access, slipped into drug usage, eventually found herself, then... well... died.
but it looks like she died thinking about that school day in particular, where it all went down, the same schoolgirls now angels closing the gates' access to her but her mother overtaking this prevention and accepting her, maybe was even following/with her all along post-death, after her overdose and death on that little round carpet, covered in pills and bottles and booze
    what a beautiful fucking tragedy.
    EDIT -
    hi there!
sorry about that, i wrote this while i was high as HELLLLL

Interesting theory. I read someone else thinking Heor’s mother might have died from childbirth (due to the umbilical cord being wrapped around her neck). Especially since, in photos (just him and the mother), he looked recently normal. Then he changed after the mother died. The spending time together might be apart of the hallucinations.
Or she had postpartum depression. Alongside with the father’s abuser, she decided she needed a way out.

Of the thoudands of people who have watched this, its weird that my experience is the one exactly portayed here. I believe the girl is trying to escape the world of greys and pales greens through the (equally real) world colorful.absurdity. I day dream a lot to escape this existence. I daydream about a better life, and better worlds with similarly different laws and features of existence. I often do see this world as that pale green, and I do question why I was given consioncess and wish I wasnt.

Theory 1: Hear's parents, or one of them, is a believers(maybe christian, I'm not too sure in what other religion would mention angels), because in every moment when parts of heaven was mentioned(for example: 0:06 - 0:24 , 1:05 , 2:20 - 2:34 ), it's like they're telling Hear that the golden gates are closed for her, from the moment she was born.
Theory 2: the songs are describing their worldview before they died, not after(this moment 1:48 is why that theory appeared), for example, Alishka in O meets a bored demon, who slowly copies her mortal form, starting with her eyes, then in Queen Bee, the demon is like "I know what you did", and after her body dies, they're happy to gain more souls to play with(her head is smiling after Alice opens the door).

I absolutely love this so much.. Not to mention the style- AHH!! This is a artstyle I'm trying to master somewhat and seeing videos like these shows you why I want to. The music, I love. The colors? Gorgeous. The choppy style movement the characters took while everything else was smooth around them is glorious for me to see. I absolutely adore this.

1:42 Really subtle detail I like here is how the fact that the portrait at the very right, the mother has her head slightly titled in one direction with one of those lamb strings above her, resembling her suicide.

This video was great! I loved the music, and the singing was done so well in this video as well it all came together to be something amazing. The story in this video was definitely an interesting one, involving Heor's childhood it would seem. It's great to see the Alice Schach group back again after so long!

OH MY GOD OKAY i literally barely know how to put into words how beautiful and wonderful and insanely inspiring and cool this is. I am a kid who does art and every time I try to get better at animation this is the kind of thing I am trying to get better for. Every time I dream of art school this is the kind of thing I hope it empowers me to make. Every time I draw or imagine or think or breathe the air on this earth I can see what I want to create in my mind and it hurts me when I can’t. It feels like I need it to be apart from me because it is a part of me too large to contain- a fracture of the person I am. When I see things like this, these absolutely indescribably powerful and emotional artworks I know not everyone sees it the same but for me it feels like I am watching a fracture of the artists soul and it is the most beautiful and wonderful thing. I guess what I’m trying to say is that Your art- Hense the part of your soul or wherever it came from is so jaw droppingly raw and beautiful like flesh and bone a peek into what someone is like under skin and facade and it is amazing. Thank you for sharing your art with the world.

i feel as though it goes along the lines of when the mother dies during childbirth and the father left to raise the child turns abusive. i dont think he was abusive toward the mother or sa'ed her, i think the girl was planned. but it ended tragically when the mother died during childbirth and the father grew to resent the child, therefore becoming a monster.
she blames herself for the death of her mother and her father likely told her she is at fault-- thus leading her to abuse of what seem to be prescribed drugs
