  • hi lovely people! in this video i am getting my life together after a depressive episode. lately i have 10101028% NOT been feeling my best emotionally and i wanted to start to change that. i did my usual self care routine on camera and updated you guys throughout the process- keeping it honest with myself and you!
    it's important to know that self care is not just cleaning and masks, sometimes it involves digging deep and battling the things you put away in your mind. in this attempt to "get my life together" it didn't go as planned..

    This is so realistic and it makes me feel alot better about my mess obviously it's a bad thing but taking my time with things cause I am always rushing to get out of it I have been depressed for years now and I have had no good schedule ever so this is hard for me but this is very inspiring

    berries and creammmmm. I’m in a rut rn mentally, emotionally, financially, and all the things haha but I’m watching these videos to knock myself out of it. I think to myself, “I have nothing to do. What do I do?” But there’s *always* something to do. My best tip is to write everything down in a journal or phone. Every time you have an idea, want to do something, etc. write it down so you don’t forget about it later. And then you can always go back to that list. Also, write out what your *ideal* morning and night look like. Doesn’t mean you have to follow them exactly or even everyday, but it’s encouraging. Everyone please keep going. Sit up in bed, when you’re ready stand up, and when you’re ready again, head to the bathroom to brush, shower, etc. Even if you get right back into bed, you did *something* for yourself. Be proud and again, keep going. Best of luck🖤🖤🖤

    My trick to get sunlight, be in a better mood AND stay on a reasonable sleep schedule is to keep my curtains open at all times. It makes a huge difference and it forces you to rise early, which in turn forces you to get your sleep in, which in turn forms a basis for your routine. Another advantage is that you are on the same schedule as most people, so you don't have those horribly depressive moments when you go places and there is no one else there, like go to the park at 3 a.m. and feel miserable about that. Also, seeing people going about their business helps you to connect with reality and makes you feel connected to the world around you, like you are not excluded from society. These are tiny things that make a huge difference.

    Thank you so much for being so real in this video it made me feel more at peace with a fact that actually i am not the only one. And all these videos "getting myself out of a slump" made me feel like i am the only one that just cant do that "good enough" because almost every video that i have seen was like perfect, it looked like everyone is "good" at picking themselves up and im the only one that cant do it like them. But turns out that actually a lot of people when they try to end their depressive episodes and stuff are in real life are not feeling good all the time and i though that something is wrong with me because i just couldn't pick myself up "properly". I really, truky thank you for this video ❤

    As someone who is bipolar, I have a lot of depressive episodes throughout the month. I used to care for myself and my surroundings during my hypomania episodes but I kind of gave up and ignored all the problems. Thank you for making this video, its nice to see that im not alone.

    I’ve been in an episode for quite some time, and today is the day where I’ve decided to get my life back on track, and this video really helped.

    I feel this so much!! I wasn’t able to get my anti depression medicine for over a year and I’m on day 4 of finally being able to take it again after I had a break down and cried to my mom that I didn’t feel like myself. I said “I’m tired of living but I don’t want to die” and today I’m cleaning my fiancé and I apartment. It feels so good to finally start to feel good again

    Waisting hours trying the to have something done outside of the house and then when you finally there... The place is close, is something that can really send a depressed person back to the depression point. You was really strong in this moment when you archived to do something after that, congrats!
    Ps: never ever let the curtains closed during the day, no matter what happens, if this is the only thing you can do in your day, do it and then go back to you bed or whatever, but get up and open the curtains! If you are feeling a bit better, never let you hair get dirty, if open the curtains and wash your hair is all you can do in your day, you already winning this damn condition!

    Hey thanks for sharing the fact that you too struggle writing in the journal often, i hate myself for buying cute journals and kinda hurt myself in my head for not penning down my feelings often... i hate myself for wasting money n paper ...but idk why j am not able tomaintain planners n journals i suckk

    Thanks for this video! Since covid things have gone spiral. First my friend left our band and we are left stuck atm because we cant gig, then I caught covid for the second time. Bought myself a new car and its engine light keeps coming on, I am stressed with Uni essays/ tests, friends have taken me for granted and work I have had to contend with. My energy levels are drained, Ive stopped working out as much, my diet is crap, I procrastinate way too much, cant stop venting negative stuff, falling out with nearly everyone, room is always messy and that's not like me at all. I feel so behind, stressed and like its a effort just even waking up early. This is motivating me to slowly get back on track.

    I've been at the lowest low point since end of last spring (been seven months). Going through traumatic times, will write a book about it. Have done no cleaning since. Your place looked so CLEAN before you cleaned it! 😂
    I might film my journey cleaning my place. It will probably take weeks. I'm thinking if I film it and post it, some people who have it less bad than me can realize that it could be much worse, and that if I can do this, so can they.

    I’ve been there, I’m still there! Why TH-cam brought me here lol
    I’ve been really concentrating of being active and doing all sorts of things to ignore the bad thoughts and feelings and it has obviously not worked in the long run… I really appreciate your honesty and you helped me realize that I can’t force myself to not feel depressed but I can keep trying to get myself out of that mind set with permission from myself rather than ordering myself to feel better when I clearly need time to just feel and allow myself to move on.     I was never actually diagnosed with depression but I'm pretty sure I have it and anxiety, and I'm also pretty sure I just want through a depressive episode because I was in my room for like 2 months and I cried at least once a day and I was super easily aggrivated.

    I’m not a girl. But who cares. I’m having issues. I was put on some very hard drugs.
    Now I’m coming off the drugs.
    And I’m even quit smoking.
    I lost my left hand in 2004 . I need to get a job. I am a looser right now. I live with my fiancé
    And I got no where to go
    She doesn’t care
    If I live with her . She wants to be with me
    But as soon as I start complaining
    And getting bi p on her and not cleaning. That’s when she goes off

    I’m really just trying to stop smoking
    I messed up allot of my teeth with smoking
