True.... My grades fall a little due to online classes like from topper to average I am crying rn please give me tips to get my repo back and become a topper again
Things so far: -Being more active (I'm already active but I want to maintain being physically active). -Have grades I'm satisfied with. -Finding something I'm great at so I can focus on it. -Reading more. -Maintain my sleep schedule (I sleep between 9:00-10 pm). -Occupying myself more because I have soo much free time. -Participating more in class and being more approachable and nice.
Well the only thing I have to do now is finding something I'm great at and focus on it, I do have a couple of things I think I'm great at like ice skating but I can only practice once a week at the arena for that but when it's winter (and I live in Canada), I'll be able to practice it all the time (as in outdoor rinks and arena hours will be more flexible)!!
It's finally winter break and I started going to a rink to ice skate (I'm pretty good at it) and I started practicing art (will require a lot of practice but I'm commited). I also discovered about "75 HARD" where you have to abide 5 rules daily for 75 days and if you don't, you have to restart the challenge, but ofc I altered the rules a bit (to be realistic) and I'm prepping because I'l be starting on the first day of 2022. For those interested, the rules: 1. Stick to a diet (no cheat meal/days+no alcohol) 2. Drinking a gallon of water 3. Two 45 minute workouts (one indoor and one outdoor) 4. Reading 10 pages of an entrepreneurial book 5. Taking a progress pic/video So you basically have to do those daily. My rules: 1. Stick to a diet (but one cheat meal WEEKLY) 2. Drinking a gallon of water 3. 45 minutes workout ( I live in Canada I can't really workout outside unless I go ice skating) 4. Reading 10 pages of any book I want 5. Taking a progress pic every week The things I'll be struggling with is the diet part which I have a solution for and working out when school starts again (which I'll just have to be more organised for.
Another update!! Well, I'm starting of the new year on a great start and I plan to stay consistent. My little trouble finding a hobby is resolved. I've started crochet! I plan to make a lot of things and I'm surprisingly really good at it+it's v v therapeutic. I'm so glad I got into it!! My life is really starting to get along the way I want it to.

My goals this semester: 1- do all my readings before the class, even if I have to sleep 4 hours one night, I'm tired of giving up because "it's too late" and go to the class in the next day with no idea of what are we going to be taking about. 2- revise during the weekends all the topic that we learn during the week and summarize them 3- participate in class, talk and ask questions
the problem is i have too many interests and I want to be the best in all of them (but I’m not) :( i want to be a better artist and pianist but I’m starting color guard and my main focus feels like it should be school. I just don’t have the ability to put my whole heart into just one.

The one thing which I want to change in my life is to stop worrying for unnecessary stuffs and start to make a change in things I have to improve. And I really wanted to thank you a lot for the tips which you gave and some of them were really helpful for me. ☺
Honestly, tip 6 really makes me feel better. I got into a sport that I love (and has make school less stressful/more enjoyable for the reasons you said) and I want to put all of my energy into it to be the best I can at it. But at the same time, I have doubts whether I should do speech/debate and I regret quitting an instrument because I feel like I don't do as much as others. I still felt that way even though I tried those things and they were not enjoyable and I wasn't particularlly good. This tip really helps me because I've been doubting my desisions so much, tysm :)
Tips in her video- • go through everything you did wrong last year. Write - mistakes/what you did/what went wrong. Practice again. • mindless scrolling,just turn off the notification, for messaging app you set alert tones. • replace social media with another habit like is reading book, and when you are studying put your phone far away where you can't reach to it. • delete the things that make you unhappy like an friend who calls you anytime, • you have to persons to impress Your future self and past self, • if you can't wake up early, you can't do it just do one thing- make your energy level. yours can be different. • want a big change, set small goals- Make small changes it will totally change your life. • nuture your talent, focus only one thing in your highschool, you should do extra performance, like any hobbies. The blue light thing makes A lot of sense. My brother has a hard time sleeping on days when he's on his iPad for longer at night. I also find it hard to sleep after a day staring at screens. I own blue light glasses and I forget to wear them but my older cousin said that they're a game changer. Also blue screen is an option on some devices that minimizes blue light. Thanks Faye for this video. You always motivate me and make me plan ahead even though im far away from the goals I want to achieve.

A goal I have for the new school year is to stay out of drama, and mostly set boundaries for people For some reason, I have this weird habit of trying to get close to EVERYBODY, even people I don’t like to spend time with as much. Then I feel obliged to go to every party they throw, or join every club they do. Which doesn’t give me time to enjoy the things I like. So this year, I’m going to cut out those “friends” that don’t give me joy, and stick to the people that actually care about me (like my family and close friends)

These past three days I got so motivated and kept on studying . Spending less than 2 hours on social media . Today, I got demotivated and this video really came at the right time 😂 Thank you so much
being an all rounder during high school isnt a bad thing at all, infact it just made you good at everything. if u really wanted to pursue just one thing you could do it now. i was in a boarding school and it was mandatory to do all the activities the 3 things i was most passionate bout are piano football and indian dance forms i didnt really enjoy drama classes or pottery or even painting but i atleast have some experience with it and im so grateful for that

The blue light thing makes A lot of sense. My brother has a hard time sleeping on days when he's on his iPad for longer at night. I also find it hard to sleep after a day staring at screens. I own blue light glasses and I forget to wear them but my older cousin said that they're a game changer. Also blue screen is an option on some devices that minimizes blue light. Thanks Faye for this video. You always motivate me and make me plan ahead even though im far away from the goals I want to achieve.

A goal I have for the new school year is to stay out of drama, and mostly set boundaries for people
For some reason, I have this weird habit of trying to get close to EVERYBODY, even people I don’t like to spend time with as much. Then I feel obliged to go to every party they throw, or join every club they do. Which doesn’t give me time to enjoy the things I like.
So this year, I’m going to cut out those “friends” that don’t give me joy, and stick to the people that actually care about me (like my family and close friends)
There are many youtubers with many tips out there but God knows why only your tips works for me
