  • In the first episode of this series, I summarize the history of Jerusalem from the time of Melchizedek to the reign of King Hezekiah.
After covering the topography of Jerusalem I mention Melchizedek and his encounter with Abram. Then I move to the time when Jerusalem was ruled by the Jebusites, who were conquered by David with his special tactic. In the last part of the video, I cover the rein of Salomon and Hezekiah.
In the next episode, I will cover the time from exile to the destruction of the temple in AD 70.
The presentation was made using the 3D models that I made in the Unity Engine program.
Materials that I used to create the episode:
    Ritmeyer Archaeological Project
    Rose Guides Materials
Official website of the City of David
Museum of the Bible Lands in Jerusalem
    Bibleplaces.com

It is sad that you feel you have to put Christians down. Know am forging you because my God tells me to. We fight not against flesh and blood, but against the spirits of evil that invades the hearts of men. In the name of Jesus Rebuke those spirits and cast them away from you. So tgat you may live life in peace and the love of God. Have you not been told that life is eternal? Am sure you want to be at peace in your soul but all the killing brings no peace to anyone, does it? No brothers. That is but one of the deciets of Lucifer.

The 'angel' who saved Hezekiah is said to be Pharaoh Taharqa who helped to push back the King of Assyria in the battle of Eltekeh. Hezekiah was also paying tributes to ward off Senacherib. The true history will be found in between the propagandas of Assyria, Israel and Egypt/Kush dynasties of the time. Eventually peace prevails because brutal empires are unsustainable.

@@frankdenny4593 See God's handiwork on a clear sunny day coming down 360° all around us.
      1) In Genesis, and Psalms there's mention of waters above. In Genesis the waters are being separated from below to above, and are established forever. Some apologists would say it's the water cycle. Note: water & land is preexisting (no Creatio ex nihilo).
      Genesis 1:6-7
NASB: "6 Then God said, “Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.” 7 God made the expanse, and separated the waters that were below the expanse from the waters that were above the expanse; and it was so."
KJV: "6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so."
YLT: "6And God saith, `Let an expanse be in the midst of the waters, and let it be separating between waters and waters.`7 And God maketh the expanse, and it separateth between the waters which [are] under the expanse, and the waters which [are] above the expanse: and it is so."
NRSV: "6 And God said, "Let there be a dome in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters." 7 So God made the dome and separated the waters that were under the dome from the waters that were above the dome. And it was so."
      Psalm 148:4-6
NASB: "4 Praise Him, highest heavens, And the waters that are above the heavens 5 They are to praise the name of the Lord, For He commanded and they were created. 6 He has also established them forever and ever; He has made a decree, and it will not pass away."
KJV: "4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens. 5 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created. 6 He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass."
YLT: "4 Praise ye Him, heavens of heavens, And ye waters that are above the heavens. 5 They do praise the name of Jehovah, For He commanded, and they were created. 6 And He establisheth them for ever to the age, A statute He gave, and they pass not over."
NRSV: "4 Praise him, you highest heavens, and you waters above the heavens! 5 Let them praise the name of the LORD, for he commanded and they were created. 6 He established them forever and ever; he fixed their bounds, which cannot be passed."
      2) In Genesis, and Isaiah there's windows, or floodgates in the sky which God opens to commit a flood genocide, and close to have righteous incestual population replenishment.
      Genesis 7:11
NASB: "11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep burst open, and the floodgates of the sky were opened."
KJV: "11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened."
YLT: "11 In the six hundredth year of the life of Noah, in the second month, in the seventeenth day of the month, in this day have been broken up all fountains of the great deep, and the net-work of the heavens hath been opened,"
NRSV: "11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep burst forth, and the windows of the heavens were opened."
      Genesis 8:2
NASB: "2 Also the fountains of the deep and the floodgates of the sky were closed, and the rain from the sky was restrained;"
KJV: "2 The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained"
YLT: "2 and closed are the fountains of the deep and the net-work of the heavens, and restrained is the shower from the heavens."
NRSV: "2 the fountains of the deep and the windows of the heavens were closed, the rain from the heavens was restrained,"
      Isaiah 24:18c
NASB: "18c For the windows above are opened, and the foundations of the earth shake."
KJV: "18c for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake."
YLT: "18c For windows on high have been opened, And shaken are foundations of the land."
NRSV: "18c For the windows of heaven are opened, and the foundations of the earth tremble."
      3) The Firmament in Proverbs, and Job clearly (as clear as the molten glass dome) talk about a firm cast metal strengthened mirror sky. In Proverbs it mentions the unpassable boundery of the sea which is why the light blue sea of Heaven does not mix with the deep blue ocean of the Earth (waters above/below) which one can observe looking out over the ocean.
      Proverbs 8:28-29
NASB: "28 When He made firm the skies above, When the springs of the deep became fixed, 29 When He set a boundary for the sea So that the water would not violate His command, When He marked out the foundations of the earth;"
KJV: "28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: 29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:"
YLT: "28 In His strengthening clouds above, In His making strong fountains of the deep, 29 In His setting for the sea its limit, And the waters transgress not His command, In His decreeing the foundations of earth,"
NRSV: "28 when he made firm the skies above, when he established the fountains of the deep, 29 when he assigned to the sea its limit, so that the waters might not transgress his command, when he marked out the foundations of the earth,"
      Job 37:18
NASB: "18 Can you, with Him, spread out the skies, Strong as a cast metal mirror?"
KJV: "18 Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?"
YLT: "18 Thou hast made an expanse with Him For the clouds -- strong as a hard mirror!"
NRSV: "18 Can you, like him, spread out the skies, hard as a molten mirror?"
"Finally, it is worth pointing out that the world picture of the Jewish people, as reconstructed from various passages in the Bible, was essentially the same as that of the Egyptians and the Babylonians. ...The flat, disc-shaped Earth is surrounded by a sea; beneath the Earth, there are wells and fountains connected with the upper part of the Earth as well as with the great deep, called Tehom. The Earth rests on pillars, and above it is the sky or firmament. Waters are to be found not only on the Earth or beneath it, but also above the firmament."
Helge S. Kragh, Conception of Cosmos, pp. 10
A glass dome holds up an ocean, and the dark blue ocean does not mix with the light blue sky all due to an unpassable barrier. Who knew but the Lord.
Even though the Quran mentions terrestrial salt and fresh water seas, there's references though vague are reminiscent of the OT's cosmology (perhaps a vestige of the OT in light of ancient thinking?).
      Quran (Pickthal/The Clear Quran/Saheeh International)
(PICKT) 21.032 "And we have made the sky a roof withheld (from them). Yet they turn away from its portents."
(TCQ) 21.32 "And We have made the sky a well-protected canopy, still they turn away from its signs."
(Saheeh) 21.32 "And We made the sky a protected ceiling, but they, from its signs, are turning away."

(PICKT) 27.061 "Is not He (best) Who made the earth a fixed abode, and placed rivers in the folds thereof, and placed firm hills therein, and hath set a barrier between the two seas? Is there any God beside Allah? Nay, but most of them know not!"

@@teachmetruth3539 Satan Killed Christ Jesus (The Gospels are just parables set on Earth/doctrinal warfare):
The pseudograph 2 Pet. 1:16 is pushback against people (likely a group of Xtians who we don't get to hear from) that are saying the Gospels are literary fabrications, and then forges an eyewitness account. Later in 2 Pet. 3:15-16 it mentions that there's things in Paul's letters that do not make sense, which is strange in light of 1 Cor. 3:2 & Heb. 5:12 in which converts are taught things easy to understand.
Paul is adamant that his Gospel is not from humans, but from scripture, and visions/dreams (Gal. 1:11-12, :15-17, Rom. 15:4, 1 Cor. 15:3-8). A secret hidden through the ages now revealed (Rom. 16:25-26, 1 Cor. 2:6-7). Also Paul says his apostleship is by the same means as the founding Pillars (Gal. 2:6-9).
Who in context of what Paul wrote would execute someone for being in human form?
Phili. 2:6-8 "6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God as something to be exploited, 7 but emptied himself (Isa. 53:12), taking the form of a slave, being born in human likeness. And being found in human form, 8 he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death - even death on a cross."
Who would NOT kill Jesus if it was made known to them that by doing so it would fulfill God's plan for mankind to have a chance at immortality?
1 Cor. 2:6-8 "6 Yet among the mature we do speak wisdom, though it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to perish. 7 But we speak God's wisdom, secret and hidden, which God decreed before the ages for our glory. 8 None of the rulers of this age understood this; for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory." (Note: "rulers of this age" is reciprocal with Earthly & spiritual powers to the ancient reader)
To Paul a physical resurrection does not inherit God's Kingdom (The Synoptics have a flesh resurrected Jesus).
1 Cor. 15:49 "49 Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we will also bear the image of the man of heaven. 50 What I am saying, brothers and sisters, is this: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51 Listen, I will tell you a mystery! We will not all die, but we will all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For this perishable body must put on imperishability, and this mortal body must put on immortality."
Dirty, or impoverished clothing, and clean, or gleaming clothing were seen as metaphors for Earthly/spiritual bodies in the ancient world. (Mark 14:51-52 "A certain young man was following him, wearing nothing but a linen cloth. They caught hold of him, but he left the linen cloth and ran off naked.", 16:5 "As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man, dressed in a white robe, sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed.")
Rom. 4:25 "who was handed over to death for our trespasses and was raised for our justification." Note: 1 Cor. 11:23 "betrayed" is contextually reciprocal with "handed over" in Greek (Rom. 1:24, :26, :28).
The verse Rom. 1:3b "who was descended from David according to the flesh" (2 Sam. 7:12) is good evidence for historicity. But 2 Sam. 7:12c "who shall come forth from your body," can mean God made a flesh body from David's semen for Jesus (it was a belief that the male seed contained the whole body). This is a convenient way to fulfill messianic prophecy for a celestial event instead of on Earth.
Zec. 3:1-9 "1 Then he showed me the high priest Joshua/Jesus (Savior) standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan (Adversary) standing at his right hand to accuse him. 2 And the LORD said to Satan, "The LORD rebuke you, O Satan! The LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is not this man a brand plucked from the fire?" 3 Now Joshua was dressed with filthy clothes as he stood before the angel. 4 The angel said to those who were standing before him, "Take off his filthy clothes." And to him he said, "See, I have taken your guilt away from you, and I will clothe you with festal apparel." 5 And I said, "Let them put a clean turban on his head." So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him with the apparel; and the angel of the LORD was standing by.
6 Then the angel of the LORD assured Joshua, saying 7 "Thus says the LORD of hosts: If you will walk in my ways and keep my requirements, then you shall rule my house and have charge of my courts, and I will give you the right of access among those who are standing here. 8 Now listen, Joshua, high priest, you and your colleagues who sit before you! For they are an omen of things to come: I am going to bring my servant the Branch. 9 For on the stone that I have set before Joshua, on a single stone with seven facets, I will engrave its inscription, says the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the guilt of this land in a single day."
Zec. 6:11-13 "11 Take the silver and gold and make a crown, and set it on the head of the high priest Joshua son of Jehozadak (Savior Son of the Righteous God); 12 say to him: Thus says the LORD of hosts: Here is a man whose name is Branch: for he shall branch out in his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD. 13 It is he that shall build the temple of the LORD; he shall bear royal honor, and shall sit upon his throne and rule. There shall be a priest by his throne, with peaceful understanding between the two of them."
Rom. 15:12 "12 and again Isaiah says, "The root of Jesse shall come, the one who rises to rule the Gentiles; in him the Gentiles shall hope." (Isa. 11:10 LXX).
Isa. 11:1 "1 A shoot shall come out from the stump of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of his roots."
1 Cor. 15:24-26 "24 Then comes the end, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father, after he has destroyed every ruler and every authority and power. 25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death."
Jos. 10:24-27 "24 When they brought the kings out to Joshua/Jesus, Joshua summoned all the Israelites, and said to the chiefs of the warriors who had gone with him, "Come near, put your feet on the necks of these kings." Then they came near and put their feet on their necks. (Psa. 110:1/1 Cor. 15:24-28, Rom. 16:20, Heb. 1:13, 2:5-9, 10:13) 25 And Joshua said to them, "Do not be afraid or dismayed; be strong and courageous; for thus the LORD will do to all the enemies against whom you fight." 26 Afterward Joshua struck them down and put them to death, and he hung them on five trees. And they hung on the trees until evening. 27 At sunset Joshua commanded, and they took them down from the trees and threw them into the cave where they had hidden themselves; they set large stones against the mouth of the cave, which remain to this very day. (Deut. 21:22-23/Gal. 3:13)"
Image of God (2 Cor. 4:4, Phili. 2:6), Agent of creation (Rom. 11:36, 1 Cor. 8:6)
      Philo: THE SPECIAL LAWS, I
"XVI ...Now the image of God is the Word, by which all the world was made..."
Celestial high priest (Heb. 2:17, 4:14), God's Word (Heb. 1:3, 11:3), Firstborn son (Rom. 8:29)
Philo: ON DREAMS, THAT THEY ARE GOD-SENT
"XXXVII ...the high priest is the Divine Word, his own firstborn son."
      Five Kings= Five Senses (Flesh)
      Philo: ON ABRAHAM
"XLI These things, then, are what are contained in the plain words of the scriptures. But as many as are able to contemplate the facts related in them in their incorporeal and naked state, living rather in the soul than in the body, will say that of the nine kings (Gen.14:1-2) the four are the powers of the four passions which exist within us, the passion of pleasure, of desire, of fear, and of grief; and that the other five kings are the outward senses, being equal in number, the sense of sight, of hearing, of smell, of taste, and of touch. For these in some degree are sovereigns and rulers, having acquired a certain power over us, but not all to an equal extent; for the five are subordinate to the four, and are compelled to pay them taxes and tribute, such as are appointed by nature. For it is from the things which we see, or hear, or smell, or taste, or touch, that pleasures, and pains, and fears, and desires arise; as there is no one of the passions which has any power to exist of itself, if it were not supplied by the materials furnished by the outward senses."
Philo: WHO IS THE HEIR OF DIVINE THINGS
"XXXVIII ...Now, the craters of the sense of seeing are the eyes, those of hearing are the ears, those of smelling are the nostrils, and so on with the appropriate receptacles for each of the senses. On these craters the sacred word pours a portion of blood, thinking it right that the irrational part of us should become endowed with soul and vitality, ...purifying itself from the deceitful alluring powers of the objects of the outward sense which aim to overcome it."
Philo: QUESTIONS & ANSWERS ON GENESIS, III
"(51) What is the meaning of, “And it shall be my covenant (or agreement) in your flesh?” (Gen. 17:13). God is willing to do good, not only to the man who is endued with virtue, but he wishes that the Divine Word should regulate not only his soul but his body also, as if it had become its physician. And it must be its care to prune away all excesses of seeing, and hearing, and taste, and smell, and touch, and also those of the instrument of voice and articulation, and also all the redundant and pernicious impulses of the genitals, (morning cross? Rom. 7:23) as also of the whole body, the effect of which is, that at times we are delighted by our passions and at times pained by them."

Outstanding! Your 3D modeling is terrific! I so enjoyed this presentation and the ability to better visualize Jerusalem and how it developed from the time of Abraham.
Your narration was compelling. I loved your pronunciation of Hebrew/Jewish names and places. Of course, you know your history.
And to me, that was the point: while unbelievers may dismiss this video as an attempt to substantiate mythology, I just appreciate your effort to illustrate what I accept as the truth.
I knew there was a water source that helped sustain Salem/Jebus/Jerusalem during sieges and I knew King Hezekiah had a hand in diverting the water flow, but I had no idea it was a spring under Mt. Moriah that flowed out of the mount. Now I know what the Gihon is.
I was simply captivated by this video. And to think it is a summary compilation of several others is quite impressive. Oh yes, I subscribed on this my first visit. I know there are differences in the beliefs of Jews and Christians, but Jesus made it clear that, "Salvation is of the Jews."
I never try to force my faith on anyone; however, I do invite you to take a close look at Jesus of Nazareth and see whether he fulfills the promise of the Messiah. He came the first time to redeem us from our sins - it cost Him his life. He will return to set all things right and establish His everlasting Kingdom. See if the Jewish Bible prophesies His two comings. Thank you.

JESUS is not your LORD. Jesus is not the Son of God. Jesus did not die on the Cross for your Sins. And JESUS is not coming back again.
Jesus was the slave of GOD.
and you will answer for your own deeds and sins on Judgment Day and JESUS will bear witness against you and your pathetic debauchery of the TRINITY and the DIED ON THE CROSS belief.

Sir, your content is absolutely FASCINATING!!! I could watch your content over and over and over again. One thing I would be most interested for you to cover is what happened to the tabernacle in the wilderness (tabernacle of Moses) and more specifically the historical events that occurred to/with the ark of the covenant. My current understanding is that the ark of the covenant was not in the holy of holies in the Temple of Herod due to its disappearance sometime during or before the Maccabean period (I could be wrong on this). Thank you for the time and effort you have put into all of your videos!!! I have never been to Jerusalem and the surrounding areas so your tours are the closest I will probably ever come to being there. Again, THANK YOU!!!
