Instead of rivets can we get bolts and nuts for different sizes

I'm using a three foot breaker bar with a three foot cheater pipe and I still can't get the nut loose. Yes, I am turning it the right direction.

You working on a dump truck? With that much leverage, SOMETHING will break on an ATV!

Just a heads up. This does not work on my 2006 YZ125. The grooves on the inner Hub are too narrow and the tool does not bite and hold the inner hub. It just slips off. Wish they would have mentioned that on their website. It resembles the clutch basket in this video but does not fit.

Some people grind them down to fit. As long as you don’t need to remove so much metal that the tool’s strength is compromised you should be able to do it. I needed to grind my motion pro version to fit my DRZ400 basket

does not work on kx125. flywheel nubs and the hub jaws are both too thick

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  7 ปีที่แล้ว

Correct. It's limited to only work on flywheels with 8mm holes. Thanks for sharing your bike model with us! ~Vinny

Too much risk for breaking hub tangs!
Use a rattle gun or buy an EBC holder that goes around the whole hub with more contact points.

I wish it were that easy, I’ve spent over 5 days on my R1 clutch and the dude I bought it from bent in the metal divet at the end making it near impossible to remove

Yes it would be nice to see a REAL life example of the use of this tool.
Firstly, this tool is only good if your engine cases are flush OR behind the clutch basket.
My 84 Yamaha has engine cases that project at least 1-1/2' beyond the clutch basket so when you try to position this tool on my clutch you can only really get about 3/8" inch of the tool on the basket. A weak hold at best.
Secondly, that nut generally takes a bit of force to remove it if the engine has any miles on it.
Seeing that guy put ever so little torque on that nut, he didn't even brace against anything, just pisses me off. That is not how it works in the real world.
Your tool doesn't work on my bike.
EBC makes a tool that would work much better in most applications, however, the EBC tool would need to be modified to work on my FJ. The EBC tool also relies on flush or behind the clutch basket engine cases. Engine cases that extend beyond the clutch basket makes this tool useless unless modified.

Such bullshit. That nut isn't even torqued to spec. I bought this tool and can't even remove the bolt WHILE using this. With LOTS of force. This is wayyyy harder than this video

would not use this tool.. using a belt is the option.. strap it around the clutch until is tight and attach the end of the belt to the frame in a straight line.
