There is a mod called villager reruits that lets you build a villager army. Would love to see a match between two players where you have to send your army against defensive positions protected with cannons and autocannons :)

BRO! In the game, I noticed that when you build a machine gun on wheels, then you can right-click on the back of the gun before building it and so you can drive and shoot from the first person. It's like a small tank.

So it’d be good against more armoured targets

AP autocannons murder smaller armoured targets
Flak autocannons murder planes and unarmoured targets

I was lazy to try to figure out how these worked myself (difficulties with mods) -- my friends and I are planning a Create war server in the future when VS Clockwork or Aeronautics are more stable and released respectively. Thank you for showing the capabilities! I already have thought of a way to stagger 4 of them for maximum 1 round / gametick destruction >:)

Omg,, only things missing now are guns and we can have the most immersive war in minecraft boys,, physics mods,, valkrien skies 2 or aeronautics able to make ships and even vehicles,, THESE TURRETS.. guns are the only thing left

Seems very powerful compared to what I've seen of regular cannons (as in, doesn't require much setup/effort). Why would someone ever make one of the previous setups?

The normal cannons still do a lot more damage and shoot further.
main battle cannons are large with expensive explosive ammunition for large targets intention burn/ destroy enemie ship
auto cannon high fire rate low damage intention dentures enemies from following you front / back+good for air raids if you make like a plane small=hard to hit /fast but one hit might take you down
Complex cannons are for your permanent base, and can be controlled from a central control room using gearshifts and linked controller, with more shot diversity and power. Plus, the small ones don't always hit properly and might bounce. Small ones are good for Eureka and valkyrien skies as the guns on the gunship. Also good flak cannons against someone flying towards you. Both have ups and downs. Depends on what you need. Big artillery cannons or a machine gun or flak cannons.

anyone know how much entity damage/player damage an autocannon does? does it vary depending on type/size/ammunition type?
how do you pick up an unbored cast iron autocannon recoil spring because when i break it with a pickaxe it turns into cast iron nuggets
If you're in survival I think you need to move it with pistons.

is there any way to fill the cannon with the shot after i've mounted the cannon on the carriage?
beacause i can only load the shot before assembling the cannon on it, and if i change the pitch afterwards the shot direction changes
I'm not sure I follow. It should take the ammo from your inventory.

@@KwizzleHazzizle yeah, but the latest version of create, need a flywheel versión that isn't compatible with create Big cannons. And another question, you have to install the create cannons mod and the autocannons mod, ir only the discord mod?

Help uhm i followed the tutorial, Especially the autocannon and it only fires like 4 rounds every 1 minute and i have to wait...
I had the same problem
the cannon doesn't actually fire when i shoot it, but the cartridges go into my inventory. do you have a fix?
Are you using a cannon carriage or regular mounting? You might need a hopper in some cases to feed the ammo to the cannon

I have this same issue, I have a hopper to feed ammo, and from what I see I'm not assembling the cannon any different than in the tutorial for the manual autocannon, not sure why its doing this

This is part of the Create: Big Cannons Mod which is a submod of Create. You need to go on the Create: Big Cannons discord and download the file from the Nightly-Downloads section.

Yes, I use light mode, that's how discord comes. Why do people prefer dark mode?
