There are three generations of the powerplant: 2011-2014 (First), 2015-2019 (Second), and the Third-gen torque monster (1,050 lb-ft) found in 2020-2022 F-Series trucks.
We have 2017-2021 and work. They all are hard working trucks and unfortunately abused by crews and driven like a race car by the young bucks, but they are still kicking. They have original equipment 200k 350k follow these steps and they will give you a cheaper cost of ownership then any diesel. 1. Change fluids 2. Change fluids 3. Change fluids
I have a f250 6.7 diesel, why don’t you ask me if I would buy another one and that’s definitely not.! ,! Only 67000 miles on it it’s been in the shop 5 times. Water pump, radiator, oil leaks, def problems , now transmission is shimmering 🤷🏾♂️ what the fuck 70000 dollars and I don’t trust it.
Also that’s not a locking rear diff button that’s traction control which is standard on every ford not just trucks. Also the electronic rear locking diff is not standard it’s a option. Learn the features of a vehicle before doing a review man
My 2011 has 305,479 miles. Runs superbly, transmission shifts smoothly, good fuel mileage with the deletes; its a pleasure to drive. Proud owner
Gas deletes?
Did you have to replace the injector pump for 6k??
Dream truck right here, I'd love nothing more then to get a 6.7 powerstroke 3rd gen super duty
Great video. I have a 2013 F250 gas with the 6.2L and a 2015 F250 Diesel with the 6.7L Love this generation.
Just picked up a 6.2L gas 2015
WRONG the 2011 and up F250/350’s don’t have a 6.8 v10 option. Only F450 and up have a v10 option. You either go 6.2 or 6.7 with the F250/350’s.
E450s uses v10
Best super-duty generation. The platinum trim is the best platinum to ever be made.
Why what do you miss out on on bare bones model
Its amazing that you bought a one hundred thousand dollar pickup and you have to spend another five thousand dollars to make it run right.

The gearing is excellent. Just need to tune it. It will godddyup.
0-60 in 7secs is quick for a 2ton truck.And I get 15-16mpg,12 towing.😤
I would love this truck, but the rear end doesn’t fit the truck at all, especially the lights
Great truck! Which does better in the snow, F150 or F250?
Shouldn't be a huge difference other than more weight and torque with the F250 so technically I guess the F150 would be better.
Does this 2011-2016 6.2 model have engine braking in tow/haul mode?
Mine does
Yes
I bet that Tuxedo Strip Heated Leather seats also come with an Oversized Price tag
Beautiful truck and well done video
What’s your mpg on this ? I’m looking to get a 2011 f250 V8 gas to haul and tow
Many people have estimated the mpg to be between 7 and 13 mpg combined
Mine is usually about 13.5
12mpg towing 6800lb travel trailer and 17.5 on highway not towing
Does anyone know if on a 2012 model of this truck if the running lights stay on after you unlock truck with key fob
Mine does
@@SuperDuty250 thank you!!
How many miles can you get out of these 6.2s and transmissions?
Over 600k
If you take care of the trans it should last forever

1. Change fluids
2. Change fluids
3. Change fluids
Most definitely not the 3rd generation for a f250. Super duty line maybe but not just F250
I wanted a Tonka truck... check out Toby Keith "who's your daddy" music video
I have this truck its bullet proof

U bought a Monday truck 😂

Beautiful but----a replacement 6.7 engine, if needed, is 6 months away! I found out the hard way.
I think very highly of my 2016 F350 even tho it wants a new Ford 6.7 engine, which, say dealer, is at least 6 months out! Disappointing.
THAT'S A FORD EXCURSION SUPER DUTY CREW CAB PICKUP TRUCK!
