How do you reconcile the inherent contradiction between Christianity and Advait Vedanta ? For example, I am born sinner as per Christianity but born divine as per Vedanta. As far as I know, God is a separate entity in Christianity but not so in Vedanta.
@@jai6196 Thanks for your comment . As a child I used to think ' if God is Omnipresent, then what room is there for anything but God ? ) . I prayed deeply to Christ to understand these things and but by but , say over a twenty year period , I was led to Sri Ramana who I strongly felt that ' if I could meet Christ in the flesh then He would be something like Sri Ramana ' . I was really delighted when I read that Sri Ramana said ' Infinity does not allow for finite parts within it ' . This means that only God exists and anything else is illusory in some way . The theological idea of original sin that would condemn a young child to hell if they died and were not baptised is little short of abhorrent. Sri Ramana Maharshi does say that ( ego )birth itself is the original sin . I note that Mahatma Gandhi said that his two favourite scriptures were the Bhagavad Gita and the Sermon on the Mount . Well Swami Sarvapriyananda is the best person presently , to answer all your questions related to spirituality. I heard him when l was going thru a crisis in life . His discourses on aparokhsha anubhuti , consciousness studies & upanishads are simply superb.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
wonderful interview - so happy to see your show on here - - thanks for bringing on a higher being for this subject. Paramahansa Yogananda says that the brain is a "receiver" akin to Swami S's "instrument" as discussed here. I believe this as well - the brain is not the generator of consciousness. It's merely an instrument to link this material plane and our senses to consciousness.
I feel Amira asked the right questions to make swamiji flower with answers. However I would repeat my request to make as few more podcasts to show India's achievement. Maybe one on enlightenment or vedanta.no other swamiji has impressed me as this one.its because of his capacity to explain complex theories in simple words. With the decline of self-help and western philosophy that neitzshe led it to the time has come to put vadvaita vedanta centre stage. Amira and araayan you are the right podcasters to do it.happy that ramakrishna mission is also in the limelight. Thanks
For past 2 years. I started my journey of spirituality. And whatever I learnt thru personal experiences and videos and manifestation booklets and all the methods and loving in now and learning everything about Neville Goddard, Eckhart Tolle, and NOW, and sound, vibrations, living in 3D,vs creating the desired reality, being the observer, subliminals, chanting. Etc etc. They are exactly talking the same thing. I try to teach my friends the concept of these things. But they never understand. Thanks to this video they will understand now. :)

I am not sure if you would be able to do this but there is another monk of the same order (Ramakrishna Order) who is spiritually inclined. Swami Chetanananda is 87 I believe and he was taught under direct disciples of Holy Mother Sarada Devi and Ramakrishna's direct disciples like Swami Brahmananda and Sarat Maharaj, etc. He has endless stories to tell and is so full of wisdom. Swamiji (Sarvapriyananda) has a couple lectures with Maharaj (Chetanananda) as well. Not sure how open he would be to getting on a podcast at his age, but he is very wise and so pure in heart, and again, has endless wisdom.
There are many great Swamis in that order. You can also listen to lectures of Swami Samarpananda at the channel Indian Spiritual Heritage. Check the playlist section there.
I have not an iota of doubt that Swami Ji has experienced ‘’The Truth’’ .Needless to say he is Enlightened. The conviction with which he speaks, and his eyes light up, it proves the fact that he talking out of first hand experience or anubhooti and not just years of rigorous examination of Shastras.
It was indeed most subtle discussion on consciousness but it still remains to be defined that what is consciousness. Many metaphors of life have been discussed at length. Being a vivid learner of consciousness I look forward for more such interactions. Thank you so much.
🙏💐My anant koti pranam to Swami ji 💐🙏 In my humble opinion whichever path one may follow to get enlightened, there should be no space to look down upon the other paths or the followers of them . We as human beings must know how to respect other faiths / paths inspite of our own beliefs 🙏
Blessings to you and swami sarvapriyananda ☀️❤️! He makes it possible for English speakers everywhere to actually hear the upanishads and understand them. He is a beautiful soul doing beautiful work and so are you. Thank you from my heart for being you and for bringing about a way for more and more to grasp self realization
Very educative. I do research on how Buddhism disappeared in Bihar. I realized it never disappeared from Bihar. Buddhists simply failed to research Indian Buddhism. They looked at Buddhism through the sphere of their own cultures searching for only the Buddha. Buddha had a myriad of names in different villages according to his teachings there. Example. His favorite teaching was 'Lust and desire causes pain. Remove lust and desire, and pain is removed'. Translated into Bihari (where the Buddha story took place) it is DHUKH HARAN meaning to remove dukha. Three dozen villages pray to DUKH HARAN Baba. Its clear that DUKH HARAN Baba is none other than the Buddha. Problem is Buddhists are searching only for the Buddha. In the real Vaishali the Buddha begged for alms. The locals there pray to 'BHIKHAINI' Baba (Beggar Baba). Bhikhaini was mispronounced by Buddhists as Bhikshu. Who is BHIKHAINI Baba. The Buddha no doubt. But people are searching for a man called Buddha. In the real Vaishali, in Beluha the Buddha suffered a sickness and felt he had grown old. The locals pray to 'BURHA' Baba (Old Baba). Who is BURHA Baba. The Buddha no doubt. In the real Vaishali the Lichavies pressurized Buddha not to die. They trailed him to Bandagawan pressurizing him not to die. To put pressure in Hindi is DABESHWAR. Three dozen villages around the stupa where Buddha gave the Lichavies his patra, the villagers pray to Baba 'DABESHWAR NATH' meaning the man who won the pressurizing game. It was the the Buddha no doubt as he gave the Lichavies his patra and succeded in sending them back. But Buddhists are searching for the Buddha. Forgive me for commenting out of the topic. I just wanted to impart this information to you.
The reality is all religions are searching for the soul only . The way to get soul is to be ego less. Or to be no mind state . when ur mind is absent soul is present. Budhism gives meditation to be mind/ego less Jainsism gives upvas to be mind /ego less Hinduism gives prayer / mantra / tantra / upvas / meditation many ways to be ego mind less Sikhsm gives a perspective of rab rakha means I don't exist whatever will be done by rab only because of this u or ego doesn't exist Islam gives prayers doing 4 times a day bending towards a god in the form of a prayer to be ego/mind less Christianity gives prayer and fast to be ego/ mind less . All religions lead to one place thats to be ego less . when ur ego is gone god is within you .

This came to me at a really difficult time in my life. Really appreciated. Lots of Love. Ashveer from South Africa .
🙏🏼❤️
I have been following this swami Ji for sometime now he has wisdom/knowledge Jai shred ram

Shri Shivay Namhstubham.
Wow wow wow !
Such a beautiful explanation!
Blessed to be watching this video.
Thank you so much!
Lord Shiva is Universe.Universe is Lord Shiva.
Extremely enriching podcast...Swami Sarvapriyananda as usual in his own glory and kudos to the host as well...the entire podcast seems extremely pleasing to the ears.
Thank you so much ❤️❤️🙏🏼
Hi
Such a loving conversation under a tree! Much appreciation and fondness to both of you,💐
Thank you so much! ❤️🙏🏼
I learnt everything from swami...he is modern era swami Vivekananda 😊
30 years back Swami Ranganathananda was referred to as modern day Swami Vivekananda 😅
In future a new monk will come with great knowledge of Adwaita and also great teaching and speaking skills will be termed as modern Vivekananda
Yes...the one who attain to higher knowledge is Swami Vivekananda
Yes he is 🙏🏼❤️
@@sumitdutta7043 That greatest monk is already here, his name is Swami Sarvapriyananda! :) And he's probably better than Vivekananda too.
@@ThinkingMonk000 better than SV, it seems you haven't read enough of Swami Vivekananda.
1st read about what he was then only you are free to make such comments not before that.
You you want I can recomment some books.
Wonderful, thought provoking and appropriate questions and truthful clarification by Swami. Good path is shown. ❤❤❤❤
I am lucky person to listen Swamiji and interview by knowledgeable Amira the young lady.
Thank you so much ❤️🙏🏼
Namaste, Swami Sarvapriyananda is one of the best teacher of Advaita Vedanta and I enjoy his sat sang
He is 💯
Thankyou so much for inviting Swamiji for such an enlightening talk. 🙏
❤️❤️🥹
Well Swami Sarvapriyananda is the best person presently , to answer all your questions related to spirituality. I heard him when l was going thru a crisis in life . His discourses on aparokhsha anubhuti , consciousness studies & upanishads are simply superb.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Wonderful and agreed 🙏🏼❤️❤️💯
wonderful interview - so happy to see your show on here - - thanks for bringing on a higher being for this subject. Paramahansa Yogananda says that the brain is a "receiver" akin to Swami S's "instrument" as discussed here. I believe this as well - the brain is not the generator of consciousness. It's merely an instrument to link this material plane and our senses to consciousness.
Thank you so much ❤️🙏🏽
He is the person who taught me the most regarding Advaita Vedanta and what profound of a philosophy it is. Thanks for having him
We all love him
I feel Amira asked the right questions to make swamiji flower with answers. Thanks
That’s our vision and we’re grateful for your support and best wishes 🙏🏼
Swami ji. 🙏🍁🌸🌹🙏he can explain difficult subject in very simple way. I always move to listen 🙏
Oh it is so nice to listen. My many many pranam to you swamiji and best wishes to Amira for bringing up such a nice topic.
❤️❤️❤️
For past 2 years. I started my journey of spirituality. And whatever I learnt thru personal experiences and videos and manifestation booklets and all the methods and loving in now and learning everything about Neville Goddard, Eckhart Tolle, and NOW, and sound, vibrations, living in 3D,vs creating the desired reality, being the observer, subliminals, chanting. Etc etc. They are exactly talking the same thing. I try to teach my friends the concept of these things. But they never understand. Thanks to this video they will understand now. :)
🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️💯
AMIRA ARORA THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR 👍 💓 💖 ASKING NICE QUESTIONS TO SWAMIJI ( WHOM I BELIVE SWAMI VIVEKANANDA COMES AGAIN TO MAKE US UNDERSTAND REAL TRUTH) ....SATOKOTI PRANAM GRAHAN KORBEN MAHARAJ APURBO EXPLANATION MAHARAJ 🙏

Pranam Swamiji and thank you Amiraji.
I disappear from this material world while listening to Swamiji.
❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing…will look into it !
There are many great Swamis in that order.
You can also listen to lectures of Swami Samarpananda at the channel Indian Spiritual Heritage. Check the playlist section there.
Dear Amira , you are so blessed to be talking and learning from Swamiji . And you made it available to all ! Thank you .
Thank you so much! I feel very blessed ❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼

Agreed 🙏🏽❤️
So Happy to see Swamiji on the show. He's my Favourite. Surely He's an enlightened person. Joy Thakur Joy Maa. Regards ❤🙏🙏

Yes, we felt it while recording this podcast 🙏🏼

We love Swamiji too ❤️❤️😊
Really good choice as a guest. He is awesome. And good questions. Amazing work Amira.
Thank you so much!🙏🏽❤️
It was indeed most subtle discussion on consciousness but it still remains to be defined that what is consciousness. Many metaphors of life have been discussed at length. Being a vivid learner of consciousness I look forward for more such interactions. Thank you so much.
🙏💐My anant koti pranam to Swami ji 💐🙏
In my humble opinion whichever path one may follow to get enlightened, there should be no space to look down upon the other paths or the followers of them . We as human beings must know how to respect other faiths / paths inspite of our own beliefs 🙏
Agreed 💯💯
Respect only if it worth respecting. Respecting everything blindly is ignorance. Power of discrimination is power of Consciousness.
Pranaam to revered Swamiji ... Amazing! And profound explanation on Absolute! which is inexplicable and beyond words!
Glad you liked it 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Dhanyosmi swamiji Can't explain how great you are You are truly a Role model Hats off Sharanu
Thank you for your input and sharing your knowledge 🙏🏼 Greatly appreciated❤️
@@AmiraAroraOfficial Thanks.
🙏🏼
The reality is all religions are searching for the soul only .
The way to get soul is to be ego less. Or to be no mind state . when ur mind is absent soul is present.
Budhism gives meditation to be mind/ego less
Jainsism gives upvas to be mind /ego less
Hinduism gives prayer / mantra / tantra / upvas / meditation many ways to be ego mind less
Sikhsm gives a perspective of rab rakha means I don't exist whatever will be done by rab only because of this u or ego doesn't exist
Islam gives prayers doing 4 times a day bending towards a god in the form of a prayer to be ego/mind less
Christianity gives prayer and fast to be ego/ mind less .
All religions lead to one place thats to be ego less . when ur ego is gone god is within you .
Thank you Amira for this wonderful conversation with Swami Sarvapriyananda 🙏🧡🏵🌼
