Ancient India was more civilized when rest of the world was in primitive stage.

At one point in time, not too far back, I agreed deeply with western idea that Indian culture is primitive. Today, I don’t know how, I fully realize that India and it’s ancient culture is the most general. Well beyond ‘any’ religion. I regret I lost many decades of my life living blind. It takes either an enlightened or almost enlightened to recognise ‘that’ 🙏
Don’t idolize him by wasting your mental energies. I don’t mean this in an offensive way. He is an ego-less and enlightened being and has no use or need for idolatry or adulation.
Try to understand and adopt what he is teaching which is what his goal is for you and all of us. And don’t worry about getting enlightenment, it comes on its own when the time is right.

In my understanding, the Consciousness is like a canvas where all the components of the painting depict itself on it.
As soon as I heard the subject spoken by Swamiji I had a sudden sense of knowing that I am something other than this body - the body is just a sort of focus point of the rest of the universe, but was no different than it - and entirely different from 'me'.
Thank you 🙏🏻 I've read 2 copies of Ashtavakra Gita and didn't get it like this.

As i listened Swamiji speak, i fell asleep. I dresmt he was with my family, and spoke. It was Christmas... I listened to his enlightened discourse, but found my terribile memory could not hold on to his teachings. I was happy he was with us. Such a honour. He turned to look my way, and it was as if he looked deep into the recess of my being. I tried to hide my perceived littleness... Oh... What a long journey ahead... But one thing he uttered remained engraved. We will eventually all realize our real nature, since we are That! Tat Twam Asi.
Thank you for being with us, showering your knowledge upon us! May my mind, heart, soul and spirit embibe these eternal truths and live fully!

i love swami sarvapriyananda, i wish you can listen more lecrure of him and i would like you to listen jiddu krishnamurti, acharya prashant too their lecrure is also phenomenal. you will fell absolutely astonished after listening them i am addicted to listen all these gurus. when i listen to them my love towards everyone automatically spreading and i feel absolutely loving and sweeter from inside.
It is all about 5 senses which without there will nothing to talk about including consciousness.

Advaita is not a faith. Faith means total belief in something without reason. Abrahamic religions are faith based, hence called FAITHS.
It's a stark reality ! Truth hurts and hurts very deep, indeed ! How right was Lao Tzu in his assessment in saying -" The truth is not always beautiful nor beautiful words the truth !"
Truth Is Thruth. Many standards or Mingling " that & this" is only FALSIFICATION. THAT'S ALL.
Mingling " This & That ". . Going Faraway from Truth.
Running Self & others into abyss.
Moreover saying all philosophies Right.
How can this lead to " TRUTH"?
The answer is very much implicit in the narrative itself ! What's absolutely required is - proper application of mind ! The underneath meaning of the saying of the great Swami Vivekanandji is so exhaustive, broad - based, and all - encompassing that it hardly leaves any scope for any further explanation, whatsoever ! However, it's an altogether different issue, if someone feigns ignorance intentionally !
Scruples - be it truth, honestly, morality, and integrity - for instance - among others - are absolute - and - can never be relative - to suit a particular situation - at the given point in time - under the given circumstances - according to someone's convenience !

Swami, Pranam. My name is Biswajit Barua from Bangladesh. I am doing Samatha & Vipasana Meditation about 20 years. Very recently, I am continuously hearing Inner Sound. Lights, Color Pictures, etc. are so frequent. Almost No worldly Desires. Yes, always in Moments with Mindfulness. No distractions. Am I reality in the Path? Even a follower of Buddhism, I continuously study Vedas, Upanishad, Bhagbath Gita, etc. for Spiritual Journey. Would you kindly advise about my progress. Thank you.

Pranam Swami Ji! Mom just woke up with a dream about Swami Ji's teachings & our existance on this planet (less than a grain of salt), we are all one.
This one is harder to grasp. There is no existence. There is only the illusion of one. When the “I” or the “seeker” ceases so does the illusion of the physical world and the physical body.
Our physical existence ( or it’s illusion) comes about most likely as a figment of thought that is generated in the vast /infinite “tree of thoughts” which probably exists in a realm outside of time and space dimensions.
The illusion of being born as a baby and aging, having parents and the concept of time associated with memories is something that spawns off of this original figment. As we age we are just creating new karma.
This is definitely one of Swamiji's greatest hits!
I consider myself most lucky because I have such enlightened and knowledgeable elders

Yes, as Swami alluded to, an attempt to construct a perfect axiomatic system which is provably free of contradictions was proposed by David Hilbert and came to be known as the Hilbert Program. Godel's work essentially shows this is impossible. A non-technical watered down version is the following: Consider the proposition "This statement cannot be proved". In a consistent system (a system devoid of contradictions) this proposition must be a true statement which is however unprovable making the system incomplete. Here we are taking some liberties that we agree on the meaning of certain words. Godel had no such luxuries. He had to formulate things very precisely using mathematical logic which is why his theorems are very complicated technical results. Self referential statements are a problem - very Vedantic!
