- I take you through a very high end build of Miura PP003 irons using KBS S Tapers and Golf Pride Zgrips, I concentrate on the special ferrules that came with the box and then how you put together the Miura irons because the hosels are too small.
If you would like to a set of clubs assembled email clubmaker@mcgolf.net or mcgolfshop@roadrunner.com

It actually get forged/stamped three times . Great show keep up the great teachings
Fantastic build. They look great.
I'm in Jackson...if you ever want an apprentice let me know!!!! Awesome stuff.
Lovely set of irons!
They look amazing. So jealous.
Very impressive, McGolf, reaming out a Miura head. Guess I’m going to have to get a drill press after all. Awesome video. Thanks!
Well get a good one, I had a small one and never new how bad I had it
Straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wow awesome
Pro Job!!
You would have saved yourself some time if you would have used a 0.355" tapered spiral reamer right away. Works great on all Miura heads. Spin welding the hosel on creates a fair amount of surface irregularity in the hosel bottom.
supplier?
@@McGolf I have done a fair amount of assembly work for Miura Golf, when North American distribution was based in the Vancouver, BC area
@@karlkurz5639 do you have a name of a supplier for the reamer
@@McGolf Golfworks has them for ~$30
Enjoying your videos. FYI, your music at the ferrule sanding was about 3 x as loud as your voice track. Even my cat about jumped straight up in the air!
I was trying to tone it down, Apparently the editor doesn't care if I split the track to adjust.
How much to replace ferrules on each iron? Can I send my clubs to you if I live out of state?
Jim I ha Miura CB202 iron and just can’t remove the head. I have a shaft puller and heated the head shaft area for at least 5 minutes and it just won’t come out. I never had a shaft I couldn’t pull. Do Miuras have a special epoxy or super tight press fit?
Thanks for sharing - I’ve never heard of this head before. Are they used by any tour player? Maybe on the LPGA?
If memory serves kJ Choi used them. If rumors are true, in the early days they
Made a lot of OEM forged product for the tour when the OEM didn’t.
Peter Crocitto I know Ryan Moore used them in 2014 to win an event, I believe he borrowed them from his dad and loved em, so he used them that week and won. Same set PP-9003 straight neck. They are an older set though, no one would be playing them anymore. I’ve played them for a few years and fell in love, have been lucky to stock pile a few sets
Abraham Ancer plays Miura and is sponsored by them too.
Thank you everyone - it's getting harder and harder as an average player to select a set of irons to play!
Awesome Content. Question: Is there an industry standard for the size of a ferrule? Is it a USGA standard?
Matt Revilock nope and that’s great for personalization
Nice toss into the can. Do you disc golf as well?
in my youth I played quite a bit of frizbee. that was the only disc at the time. it was more free style than golf. that was along with skateboarding too
When you shave off the club head and shaft do you create a possible area where the club head could fail?
Not here, I was removing material so I would fit, removing the coating on the shaft then removing from the head for the fit
Beautiful build, finished product.
