This one bothered me too. I've tried looking up what became of her with no luck. I pray they took her out of there with only the clothes on her back and put her in a nursing home. To live like that??! It was a hard watch.
That's the bitter part of enjoying this show. We point and mock and laugh and gag, but most of these people are just fundamentally broken inside and incapable of caring for themselves.
@@EustaBAracer the only person I actually hated on Hoarders was Wilma. Why? Because she was awful to her children. Hoarding doesn't cause you to hate your children with every fiber of your being. Edit: we're just gonna add Laura in this now. Brainwashing your child to hate their father. My God. Doesn't help that her 14 year old acts more like a 7 year old.
My mom has dementia and I moved from out of state to care for her. The house was condemnable, filthy and I stopped counting after I caught 31 mice, I got PTSD from that situation, police were called because neighbors heard my sobbing and thought I was suicidal, (I was homicidal at that point) sold moms house for her and got her into a populace city instead of the rural town. She lives with me now and I dont let her backslide into that behavior. Alot of it is just plain laziness.

I remember & knew exactly how the hoarding situation starts & getting worse day by day. Yes indeed its a mental illness. But its just a concequences & have a mental set as a predisposition. Extreme selfishness along with ignorance, intermingled and becomin an extreme greed, and in a final phase its manifest as a mental illness.

I had pet mice when I was young so I'm quite fond of them but obviously out of hygine necessity I have to get rid of them when they appear im my house. I recently caught 3 in catch and release trap that I released about a mile from my house down by a river, they probably wont live long out there but I hate the idea of killing them myself. If I catch any more I'll have to get over it and put out some snap traps. Having 3 is already worrying me about an infestation.
There's a better trap than snap traps. Mouse Trap Monday, the TH-cam channel has a video about a lid trap that fits over a 5 gallon bucket that trapped over 50 mice within a couple of days.
They did mention it in the episode, in this situation he couldn't do it, he said even if he did live traping he would have to kill them afterwards. I wish she would've never fed them, because now they see people as a food source

At the end of the show it stated that the psychiatrist called APS. They didn't say much about it, but she already started re-hoarding her home.
