Since their baby was so premature he’ll likely have a nurse come to their home once a week after he’s released from the hospital. The nurse will be a mandated reporter and will definitely notify CPS.
That baby wouldn't survive in a home like that. Preemies especially have a very fragile immune system, and generally multiple other health issues. Especially one born so tiny. That baby would get sick quick

That baby wouldn't live a week with those "parents". I wonder if the way that they live has something to do with the premature birth. CPS must be called in--otherwise it's murder of that newborn.
Those cats are in agony. The way they’re pacing like that in the crates shows the tiny space is harming their brains. They need to get the kitties out and burn that house down because it will never be suitable for humans, let alone a premie newborn. If that baby comes home with any kind of equipment, as many premies do, they probably won’t even be allowed to live in a clean house with cats. Even if the baby was born two months early, what happened to the seven prior months?? Clearly no real attempts were made to create or find safe housing for the baby and that is absolute negligence.

@@aurorahasfallen I agree. It's one thing to be a hoarder which is an illness. BUT they do not have the right to destroy their children and animals. The premature baby segment was really horrific.
The levels of Hoarding (From bad to awful): 1. Similar stuff which might actually have value (Books, dolls, clothes, purses etc.) 2. Junk (Stuff gotten off of curbs or out of dumpsters, broken items beyond repair) 3. Food (Well beyond their expiration date) 4. Trash 5. Pets (I would maybe put this last due to the harm towards innocent creatures but then certain episodes involving #6 come to mind.) 6. Human excrement
Who does this hoarder think she is? She says she's overwhelmed; What about these people who have volunteered to help her and all she does is complain. Live in your own filth lady, if that's your choice.
“You can hear they’re happy.” He is completely delusional, and I don’t believe for a second that they are only kenneled when visitors are over. What visitors? Those cats are being furthers living like that - it’s heartbreaking, and I have no confidence that those people can safely raise an infant, if they think they have happy, healthy cats. I don’t even see how that home can be made safe for a baby unless it’s totally gutted.
Keeping a cat in a small cage is very cruel imo , as a teenager i kept my cat in a large room only...(i was overprotective ) but he became so noisy and wanted to explore the whole house so i gave up (lol) and let him go , once he felt more free he stopped meowing like mad and was lot happier .
How come Landlord doesn't know what's going on - The Production crew would have already got permission from her by telling they are filming 'Hoarders' episodes 😂
My ex’s family’s house was the most disgusting house I’ve ever been in. Hoarders too. They had 5 cats that were able to be free but had the 2 big dogs in the back in the space the size of a bathtub, and another one inside always looked up in one of those cages. I would always try to help, ask questions cause I’d be fed up, every time I cleaned it would just end up the same, I can’t really comprehend at all how people can live like that. I could feel the difference of not being in that “home”
The issue I have with this show is that it attempts to remedy a decades-long problem in one day. This causes maximum anxiety and stress, which makes good television but is exploitative
Obviously that is animal abuse, but also, if you truly cared about your pets, you would want them to have the best quality of life. That sure as hell isn’t it.
Me as a catmom wo has 4 kids is absolutely shocked! This is animal abuse they are probably locked up in that cage for most time of the day and this is just sad
"I thought when they said they couldn't clean the upstairs, that was totally ridiculous." Said the person casually living in filth. It's one thing to have this disease but another to have an attitude with the very people trying to help you.
Kat Grootboom hoarding is a medically recognized mental disorder, which often includes OCD. They often have fears over letting things go, even if it’s trash. It’s devastating.
It's psychological. They can't see the piles of garbage as garbage. They are all useful items being saved for later use. It affects all aspects of their lives: social, private, work, sex. It's a terrible disorder.
Jolene I’m a hoarder but I have ocd. These people are hoarders and lazy, a horrible mix. I hoard memories and things I feel like I’ll have use for. I’m self aware but it drives me nuts sometimes. I save a lot of things but find a way to minimize the space it takes. I save candy wrappers from candy people give me as a gift in scrap book. And I have memory boxes I keep. You couldn’t tell I’m a hoarder cause of organized my house is. But I have a lot of items. I’m able to know what trash is, like boxes I have no use for
Thats so increbily digusting they keep their cats like that. That is no condition any animal should have to live in. That is just pure abuse. I hope those cats are taken away to find better homes.
if you ever feel scummy for having a little bit of a mess in your house/bedroom just watch a few episodes of Hoarders. Unless you got 10 year old bags of poop in the corner your doing good! lol
Broke my heart to see that sweet lady and little girl living downstairs, trying to keep their place nice, not knowing about the hell-hole upstairs from them that was sending vermin to torment them.
Those poor cats. Imagine having to live your life stuck in a cage all alone and without people around you. This is just cruelty. I hope they are living a good life right now. No animal deserves to live like that.
Cats are not meant to live in cages. This is unnecessarily cruel. It probably stems from the owner's fear of abandonment, but no other being should have to suffer because of your inability to cope with separation. I can only imagine the smell. I lived with a landlord who had thirteen Pomeranian in his kitchen, living in two huge cages on top of each other. They were not separated by sex, so puppies happened. Some of them developed poorly due to uncontrolled inbreeding. That kitchen reeked of a smell I cannot describe, but I'm pretty sure lingers in that person's household. Poor kitties
Those cats going back and forth in their cages is clear sign of being in distress. This is abuse plain and simple. I hope I never come across this dude ever I’d wreck him. That is just fucking cruel. Those poor babies. That’s gonna cause severe neurological problems😭
If you truly love cats (or any animal) you wouldn’t be keeping them locked up, you would do the right thing and put them first instead of being selfish, (I can get it can be hard but still) any animal deserves to be happy! And have a life of love (I love animals)
The way they keep those cats in carriers makes me sick. Those poor animals are losing their minds, pacing up and down, howling for help…they have clearly been there for a long while, living and eating in their piss and poo. There is clear animal abuse going on here. If you want to live like this, go ahead but don’t bring an innocent animal into it.
the girlfriend should have just LEFT that ass. seriously, you mess up & have a baby with your boyfriend when you see how he lives & then you continue to stay? no. you need to leave. you have a CHILD to think about now. this isn't just about how much you love him. love wasn't enough to make him clean up the home. he won't take care of that baby like what he needs to.

He's torturing the cats by keeping them in the tiny cages and saying that their meows are happy sounds. No empathy for him. He deserves to be in prison for animal abuse.
You are absolutely right! Commit him to a hospital
"I just need to go through the stuff" 5:49. It's not "stuff" it's garbage. She would probably need 1000 years to go through that amount of garbage
Please can someone tell me if these cats have been rescued I’m crying
I need to know too. It made me sick seeing the cats in cages. 😞
The SPCA took them away. The therapist called them.
broadwaymelody33 how do you know did it happen in the episode?
@@porcelainheartxo Yes...they came the same day. The lady they were working with called the ASPCA. The older guy was pissed off and crying. He refused to work with her after that.
That's all I was thinking watching this. Screw the people who choose to live like that, get those animals out of there. That's not fair to them.
I feel so bad for the kid in the second clip, you can tell her mom is sick in the head and the little girl is suffering
Yea all the comments are about cats but this child is counting her rodent bites in front of the camera. Yikes
Yup....
@@inlonging At least the kid isn't in a cage......
Omg poor cats they should be rehomed they dont sound happy to me they shouldent even be living in that never mind a child disgusting she will clean it her self well if you did that in the first place these guys wouldent be here trying to help you
We have seven cats, but they have a multitude of beds, scratching posts, and space to run. Seeing this just breaks my heart, they should never be in cages
“I’m just gonna do it myself, nbd” HAHAH ya right. she still sitting there like Jaba the hut trowing pizza boxes around..
*pizza the hut
NO YOU CAN’T THROW OUT MY PRECIOUS PIZZA BOXES!! Wahhhh!
Nick 777 I like what you did there 😆
she looks like someone who can take care of herself, she looks like a victoria secret model
This is heartbreaking these people are monsters..you don’t deserve to have cats and cps should be called for those poor little babies...they all need mental help
How the hell are caged cats happy🤔??? I own a cat and he HATES his cage. Even tho he only gets put in there to go places.
and the cats dont have toys or anything with them, i dont have a cat but i have a dog and when she goes in her cage i give her a bone and some toys to try to make her comfortable
‘ “When” we clear the house they’ll have space to roam around. ‘
Yeah “when” which is never!
That my friend is animal abuse.
You don't keep cats in cages that long. Yes when you take them to the vet, other then that. They should not be in cages
On aeroplanes!
Her being in that house while she’s pregnant around all of those cats and possibly coming into contact with the cats waste is so dangerous for both her and the baby WTF
I hate even putting my cats and dogs in a crate to take them to the vet 😭
I would NOT be living in that house even after it was cleaned. That woman needs to get it together
My dog was rescued from hoarders, 26 out of 50 some dogs got rescued and re-homed. This breaks my heart
NO THEY ARE NOT HAPPY THaT SO STUIPED THE CATS ARE SUFFERING BECAUSE OF HIM
Those cats should be taken away from him and get a better home!
@@aurorahasfallen I agree. It's one thing to be a hoarder which is an illness. BUT they do not have the right to destroy their children and animals. The premature baby segment was really horrific.
Yeah.
He has something wrong with him beyond the hoarding.
@@maggiee639 The 2 parents have a combined IQ of 50
“I’m just gonna do it myself so no big deal”
No no your not, if you were why’d you call people to clean the home
The levels of Hoarding (From bad to awful):
1. Similar stuff which might actually have value (Books, dolls, clothes, purses etc.)
2. Junk (Stuff gotten off of curbs or out of dumpsters, broken items beyond repair)
3. Food (Well beyond their expiration date)
4. Trash
5. Pets (I would maybe put this last due to the harm towards innocent creatures but then certain episodes involving #6 come to mind.)
6. Human excrement
"You can hear they're happy."
After he said that the camera pans to cat that literally says "no" (0:38).
Who does this hoarder think she is? She says she's overwhelmed; What about these people who have volunteered to help her and all she does is complain. Live in your own filth lady, if that's your choice.
Usually on these hoarders episodes these people have cats that end up dying in the mess and pile or they end up cannibalizing each other
Who would think he would be able to take care of a fish let alone a baby??!!
"the cats are like my family" I'm sorry but I wouldn't enclose anyone I care about in to a space where they can barely turn around.
The cat pacing strangely back and forth in the cage with repeated movements...clear sign of animals stressed in the wrong environment.
When it's not suitable for even animals, so how can these human be able to living like that
“You can hear their happy” NO those are meows of stress , neglect and anxiety!
“But you can hear that they happy” cat: meow
My ex’s family’s house was the most disgusting house I’ve ever been in. Hoarders too. They had 5 cats that were able to be free but had the 2 big dogs in the back in the space the size of a bathtub, and another one inside always looked up in one of those cages. I would always try to help, ask questions cause I’d be fed up, every time I cleaned it would just end up the same, I can’t really comprehend at all how people can live like that. I could feel the difference of not being in that “home”
I really hope that you reported them to animal control!
I can NEVER help clean those houses. I would rescue the animals and just burn the houses down. Especially the house with poop-covered floors.
At 0:12, sounds like the cat said “Help” 😳
I feel so sorry for these cats. This is animal abuse.
I have two cats and they drive me bananas...how they live with 12 cats is beyond me.
I hate people who torture animals and then justify it.. like no sir, they are not happy, you are just selfish .
Imagine mice running around your house and are getting attacked by them too, that’s just terrible
The issue I have with this show is that it attempts to remedy a decades-long problem in one day. This causes maximum anxiety and stress, which makes good television but is exploitative
Obviously that is animal abuse, but also, if you truly cared about your pets, you would want them to have the best quality of life. That sure as hell isn’t it.
normally you prepare months in advance for a safe environment and room for the baby. This is shocking.
Me as a catmom wo has 4 kids is absolutely shocked! This is animal abuse they are probably locked up in that cage for most time of the day and this is just sad
Doja cat is somewhere punching the air 😂😂
Jay's world 🤣🤣💀
"I thought when they said they couldn't clean the upstairs, that was totally ridiculous."
Said the person casually living in filth. It's one thing to have this disease but another to have an attitude with the very people trying to help you.
🙄Is this like psychological? I don't get it. Why would you be okay with living with faeces?
Kat Grootboom I don’t understand that part 🤦♀️
I’m able to know what trash is, like boxes I have no use for
Yes. It is definitely psychological. It is not normal to live with feces on the floor.
Thats so increbily digusting they keep their cats like that. That is no condition any animal should have to live in. That is just pure abuse. I hope those cats are taken away to find better homes.
This sweet baby needs a good life. I hope this family got better
Omg all that shit on the stairs...and she has the nerves to get upset. I find it so hard to think these ppl are sick lord forgive me.
If the cats are your family why are they in tiny ass cages all hours of the day?????
Boy, those cats must love living in cages 23 hours a day. Who wouldn't want to spend their life in a cage!
Nooooo cats need freedom. In the house or outside.
those poor sweet kitties… seeing the one pacing its carrier trying to get out made me cry
if you ever feel scummy for having a little bit of a mess in your house/bedroom just watch a few episodes of Hoarders. Unless you got 10 year old bags of poop in the corner your doing good! lol
Cats in a box and they're happy? Cats like to explore and run around, this is animal abuse
Broke my heart to see that sweet lady and little girl living downstairs, trying to keep their place nice, not knowing about the hell-hole upstairs from them that was sending vermin to torment them.
Were they living in the same complex?
“They’re happy?” Such delusion. This is no place fof humans let alone an infant.
Poor cats stuck in cages in that nasty house they deserve better
Honestly I would looove for the people that hoard animals to be locked in tiny cages like those poor animals and see how “happy” they sound.
Those poor cats. Imagine having to live your life stuck in a cage all alone and without people around you. This is just cruelty. I hope they are living a good life right now. No animal deserves to live like that.
I hope these cats are in a better place.
These poor innocent cats, they did nothing to deserve this...
Thats BAD when the sanitation experts want to vomit and leave. @4:18
Psh, the cleaning crew from the show "Hoarders, " would've jumped in and cleaned up the cat feces without a problem!
Yes! I love that show so much more than this one. On the other show they really try and help get people's lives together and house clean
Cory has a biohazard cleaning company so he's experienced with that level of disgusting from his regular job.
Those people are often dumb and often charge into positively filthy houses without so much as a mask.
How can any animal be happy when it's stuck in a cage for long periods of time in that type of condition.
This man is abusing these cats. they did not sound happy at ally. did you see the way he picked up that kitten NO.
This is just straight up animal abuse.
Omg this is so wrong NO animal deserves to live in a beyond dirty house let alone in a CAGE.
Those guys didn't deserve the help. It's the cats who did
Cats are not meant to live in cages.
This is wrong ! Them poor cats ! Running side to side ! Please stop animal cruelty I pray them babies got a better home 😭
That's some gross animal negligence right there.
Those cats going back and forth in their cages is clear sign of being in distress. This is abuse plain and simple. I hope I never come across this dude ever I’d wreck him. That is just fucking cruel. Those poor babies. That’s gonna cause severe neurological problems😭
Poor cats.
They better not bring that baby home.
“This house is not good for a baby" bruh, that house is Bad for everything organic and living
If you truly love cats (or any animal) you wouldn’t be keeping them locked up, you would do the right thing and put them first instead of being selfish, (I can get it can be hard but still) any animal deserves to be happy! And have a life of love (I love animals)
When it goes to animals I go from sympathetic to incredible angry
Both those guys should be homeless and the baby should be adopted. These people are very anti-social and need help but they play the victim card.
Those are transport carriers for the cats, they are NOT big enough to live in.
She CAN'T bring a premie baby into THAT!
the girlfriend should have just LEFT that ass. seriously, you mess up & have a baby with your boyfriend when you see how he lives & then you continue to stay? no. you need to leave. you have a CHILD to think about now. this isn't just about how much you love him. love wasn't enough to make him clean up the home. he won't take care of that baby like what he needs to.
Poot Kitties. I can't believe they would even consider bringing a newborn baby to that den of horror
