glad i read your comment. today i was riding with full gear at 34c and when i came home, ive been drinking water for 4-5 hours. might have drunk 5l, i m not sure. so thanks for reminding us to stay hydrated
@@FelaIV Get a small thing of pink salt and drop a pinch of it in your water. I have it in my bag when I ride. The salt is essentially electrolytes so more hydrating.
Hell yeah brother. I got my Ninja 500 ABS two weeks ago and I have been absolutely loving it! I pretty much started same was as you so its kinda cool to see you progress alongside my own!
That's great that you share the OTD price for the bike. I think as New Yorkers we should share that information because it depends on the dealership. Specially here in NYC since is a very expensive city. Thanks for posting the video. I paid for a z400 2023 $7200 OTD.
Those roads and just the whole place where u at looks so peacefull and quite😂 Looks really nice! hopefully i'll will get my license this year aswell and start on the Ninja 500 Se Because over here in Europe, you got that A1/A2/A license prosess
Different states have different processes for the endorsement. The day after the MSF course I had a new license with my endorsement. No extra tests or permitting. Great choice with the Ninja 500. Will be picking mine up from the dealership in about a week.
I've kept a detailed list of everything I've spent because I bought a bike. Not counting the cost of the bike itself, just everything ELSE I've spent BECAUSE I wanted to get a bike currently is $5500. and counting. because you never have enough stuff.
Very nice video I just bought my 500 SE yesterday and I’m picking it up this upcoming Saturday I got the red black and matte grey colour. So excited but definitely little nervous 😂
Been watching your channel since last week and I've enjoyed all your videos. I really like the overall aesthetics - very crisp and with great editing choices regarding the presets for the colors. I also sympathise a lot with your videos because I'm going to start riding soon, and I am thrilled to get these feelings that you're describing. I think I will also go with Kawasaki for my first bike, but probably with the Ninja 400...or would you say the 500 is definetly better in many ways?
im on my 3rd used bike. I pay $120 a year for my 2015 FJ09. yes I have many years of riding under my belt and a clean driving/riding record. keeping it clean pays off in the long run
Good thing your tires had a chance to get broken in before hitting wet roads, also, in the futur, never skip on good tires, one of the most important things on a bike, even if it means that you have to pay full price 😁I have been using Michelin Road 5 and now 6 for the past 10 years or so, but there are other brands out there (etc. Metzeler/Pirilli/Dunlop)
I’m glad to live in PA 😅 I’ve been researching the process here and basically I have to get the permit first, then I can take an MSF course. The permit is required because once you complete the MSF course, you’re granted a motorcycle license. Did I also mention that the course is FREE of charge?
I've had Ninjas, 250 & 300 and like them both. I'm not trying to leave the ground and fly! This time I got a Triumph Bonneville, much, much better bike! The quality is on another level and it's got the power I need for city driving
What is your mic setup? My bad if you already answered this. Just got everything and didn’t know if my cardo mic was gonna be the best quality. I also have my msf course scheduled for next month so I’m practicing on my ninja 500 that I just got!!
He has a DJi action4 cam but all he says is that it's a "lav mic," which are basically the ones with a transmitter that clip on. I didn't hear anything about a specific brand, although DJi does make a mic of their own.
$1100 for insurance is insane, I bought my first bike 3-4 months back ( honda cbr125r ( had to get a 125cc cause of European laws ) and I'm paying £2.5k a year for it, and that's not even full coverage ( totally worth it though ) Also awesome video man, look forward to seeing more!
@@moto.nyc718 Yup, I live in PA. You can take the Beginner rider course 3 times before you have to pay but all the on road courses, trike or advanced courses cost $
@@NoePulloutski I have an Eliminator (cruiser/standard version) and it's amazing. No issues with it at all. I can't speak to the Aprilia but at least you'll know that Kawasaki is good.

Bro you have to get used to the boots. I know what you feel you can't feel your shifting, cos you need to break in your boots and at first when i got my riding boots i was thinking to return it but now I can't ride without my boots bro i got used to it. Ride safe bro and have fun.
just went through this with a few dealerships, prices seem to be the same everywhere I've looked, basically out the door expect to pay $7900 - $8200. $6400 msrp (for the se abs models) taxes in my state are 6%, destination fees around $700, assembly $400, processing and dmv stuff another $500. if you dont have a big chunk to drop on a used bike from marketplace and want to finance, buying used from a dealership is alot cheaper, eliminates the destination and assembly fees so you pay processing usually around $250 and your taxes, lets you finance a bike for way less than brand new. For instance, I got quotes on out the door prices for ninja 500's and used z400's and ninja 400's. Brand new 500 $7900 out the door. used z400 less than 5k out the door, ninja 400 $5700 out the door. if your credit is good and you can stretch the loan you're lookng at sub $100 monthly payments for 60 months with 0 down. if you can put down 1-2k on a bike like that and stretch the loan out you'll be spending more a month on coffee than your pretty new bike 😊 the z400's are absolute steals right now, if you're looking for something in that beginner class like the ninja 400 and 500 but wanna save some serious cash the z400's can be had for 4k - $4500, basically the same bike as the ninja 400 with a softer suspension and no fairings, if you like the naked look. the 2023's are going for even less sometimes as dealers are trying to move them. im strongly considering one over the 500 becasue i can get close to the same performance for half the price
Honestly 12 or about 15 thousand dollars to start riding isn’t really that bad. Think about this: a decent car costs minimum around 20k and to get insurance is about 1k to even 2K if your under 21. So honestly if u save up enough money by 23 or sum you could probably get all that easily.
"Try not to pay full price for anything in life" the best advice ever😂

And don't pay dealer fees
