You forgot to mention that the Polo also had a 1.6 L 4 cylinder 105 bhp naturally aspirated petrol engine mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox in its line up. This engine was available until VW launched the 1.2 GT TSI DSG. Only real VW Polo fans will remember this.
I miss the Polo GT TDi as well as the Old Vlog too. As a diesel Head, That Engine was the most Torquey hatchback in India under 15 Lakh. And the Manual Gearbox enhances the Enthusiasm to an Extent 🔥🔥
Volkwagen is the only company now in india making real cars not gadgets on 4 wheels like other companies. its a pure drivers delight to drive a vw polo or a vw vento. Though their designs are now getting outdated yet it provides a premium plushy feeling when we see a VW

We can get a logo flip OEM camera installed after the purchase, we can get wireless chargers for the cars, the TC system is only for the 6 speed Auto, keyless entry and push button start are not needed as such, sunroof just adds up to the weight……polo is built perfect
It's not the same which used to come in the old Polos (Pre 2014 or even before that). The current one sounds very lame if u had heard the original/old one.

But thats due to the camera angles. When u see it in person, u will like it. the appearance is solid( esp. in white colour).my uncle is running workshop. One day I went to his shop to see him. There I got chance to sit inside the polo. One of his customer had parked his polo in the workshop. But that doesn't hve flat bottom steering wheel. That's was an old model( round steering wheel). But really I felt the sense of safety inside the polo when it sat inside . It's sooo compact nd solid inside. Felt premium too. And the horn sound it soo unique ❤️. That day itself I decided if I ever going to buy a car tht would be from VW group. If u r interested in buying polo go for white. Get black alloy wheels.Put carbon fiber like sheet on the roof as well as on the both side mirror. That's it, u get the beast with beauty.
Actually polo doesn't miss out on the important features. Who needs wireless charging if you have wired (it's not too important because you get 12v anyway) It's priced extremely well too (the polo), now the important ommisions are reversing cameras, keyless entry go. Now having analogue dials is a good thing because they're easier to read than say a partly lcd one or the horrible full lcd ones.
Took the delivery on monday car is awesome rear seat is also comfortable if the height of the passenger is less than 6 ft . This car has no competition its faster,safer, and brings a smile on the face .it has all the needful features and mileage which i am getting before first service is 16 to 20 as i am not revving the nuts like faisal sir😂.This car is awesome 😎 if you want to buy you can and the service cost has also reduced from 2020
vishnu sangeeth if u drive the car 10 km and check the mileage every car will show less mileage but on long drives which includes city traffic and highway drives approx 200km it gives about 17 to me and also it depends on your driving style

This car has a fabulous mileage. The new engine 1.0 TSI gives around 18 to 20 km . Iam using this car for the past 4 months. In city traffic it gives anything between 14 to 15 . On long drives the best for me was 21 km/ litre . The older 1.2 litre TSI was not good on the mileage side . I have seen many reviews where the mileage claimed is much below what Iam getting. So this is a brilliant engine both on performance and mileage
Owned an automatic torque converter and now got finally got a manual tsi in a brand new condition that i wanted but the slickness in the shift isnt very pleasing making me feel that the torque converter seemed more fun.
@@roshankrishna1824 surprising when i drove down from pune to mumbai in both these cars the automatic gave me 22.3 without a struggle and the manual on the other hand with a lot of effort to drive economically had round 19 kmpl. Though in city traffic they r both very similar.

TSI is just so lovely and amazing in mid range punch that it puts a massive smile on your face everytime especially with Launch Control! Left foot on the clutch, right foot on the accelerator, revving the motor at 4000 rpm, leave the brake and off we gooo!

These cars are not meant to be driven either at 1100 rpm at higher gear ( u are gonna plonk the costly dual mass flywheel) , nor drive like a moron at 6500 rpm up shifts. Its not sports car damn it. and it doesnt need to be above 2500 rpm to get going. I have driven Polo TSI as well as 1.0 Rapid which is essentially same engine, sans top end power. Keep it gentle between 1500 rpm and 2500-3000 rpm and you will be good. Respect the car for what it is please. It hurts to look at random rapid downshifts like a madman which spikes rpm from 2000 rpm to 6000 in milliseconds.. Thats abusing the car by definition

It's true. Normal traffic days getting 17to18 km mileage. The last all India strike days received 22 KM. It's a 2021 tsi turbo manual. Love polo ❤️

VW Group is still selling the older VW Polo in India but they have released the new Polo with new features and interior in Europe.
