To all the guys watching this channel, listen carefully to what Muzi is saying when he goes over the numbers of what it takes to own a car like this. We all want to drive nice cars, which guy doesn't? But when you end up spending the majority of your net salary on a car every month thats when the reality sets in because you found a way to make the numbers work for you but guaranteed that includes a 35 to 40% residual?? But you don't own property and probably not much else that is worthy of being called an appreciating asset?? Live and learn guys and build your net worth first before thinking about driving expensive cars which are depreciating "assets".
@akak-rk1ji They want nice time those ones but reality suddenly hits when you realize you don't own something that is appreciating instead it depreciate with time.
The vibrations is because of the 3 cylinder, they inherently have imbalances because of the spaces between firing impulses, thats why previous 1.2 tsi 4 cylinder sounds better and smoother. If it was a 1.0 4 cylinder it would have sounded good
Great review Muzi, I used to own a 2019 Polo Trendline with the 1.0, 3 cylinder engine. The engine vibrations are normal especially felt when the engine is idling, the gearbox was actually quite smooth and if not over revved, the engine does perform really well. From three years of ownership and 40000kms done, fuel consumption long term was around 6.7 litres per 100kms. I upgraded to the Polo Life Dsg 85kw this year, the slightly more powerful engine does give better performance coupled with the smooth shifting DSG transmission, the engine vibrations are still present on idle. I do think the Polo is worth spending your money on, the build quality, safety features, performance and technology makes it a great daily driver. The resale value on these cars are excellent as well.

My son just bought the newest model of the POLO TSI Life 1,0L Engine towards the end on April this year, Within a day he experienced problems with lights, then electronics. It has been a nightmare. By end of May he has taken it back three times that's within the span of one month. What is more upsetting is the dealer refusing to take it back. My family and I have VW loyalists but this experience has just left a bitter taste in our mouths. Perhaps it is just the dealership, VW Barons in Claremont, Cape Town.
Quite a number of people are facing challenges with the new polos. I had to return my polo gti because of problems and they agreed to give me a new car. Initially there was some resistance but I pushed them to a corner till they folded.
@@MuziSambo I heard so. Actually, Kulani Chauke told me about your story when I told him what happened to my son. It is still an uphill battle for us. We left the car at the dealership, he missed a lot of work hours trying to sort this issue out. Even their own technicians can't solve the problem, it started with tail lights, they tried fixing it only to mess up the entire electronics of the car. I just feel Volkswagen South Africa should do more quality checks as most dealers are unscrupulous sharks, out to make money with little regard for the customer.

Can you please review the PreFace Polo TSI Trendline. 2020 model
Can you review new POLO GT and the ownership, I'm contemplating in buying it. thank you in advance
DSG also open on both sides
...but why?🤷♂️
Which new 2022 VW hatchback would you recommend to someone and it's affordable or someone on a budget maybe 💀💀🦖?
Polo vivo trendline
@@MuziSambo lol I've noticed that most of us here want the TSI or GTi
@@danielzhou8155 you said it my brother. I just wish you could have seen my reaction when Muzi wrote Polo vivo trendline. I reacted as if I own a new Mercedes G63 I bought on cash for that matter, talk about illusions right. 😂😂😂 Shame on me. 😂😂😂
@@abigailntlola5138 I mean..when you see those GTi's and Highline's the entry level Polo Vivo won't be enough for you lol..for instance I can easily afford a Polo Vivo however I want a Polo GTi or I might opt for the used 7.5 GTi
@@danielzhou8155 I know that feeling right. I also love middle range of Polo TSI, going up to Polo GTI if only I could afford one of them. But as for Polo Vivo, its a big NO for me. I rather stay with my 2017 Polo TSI Comfortline, besides I haven't reached 100k KM yet with it. Maybe around that time I will be able to afford Polo GTI of my dreams. Not that there's anything wrong with Vivo, it's just not my cup of tea. 😉
And quite frankly if it is giving him problems this new, what guarantee do we have that it won't get worse down the line. It is absurd what @Volkswagen South Africa is doing. Even their own technicians can't solve the problem, it started with tail lights, they tried fixing it only to mess up the entire electronics of the car. I just feel Volkswagen South Africa should do more quality checks as most dealers are unscrupulous sharks, out to make money with little regard for the customer.
Mr Sambo please do a review on 2022 Polo Vivo GT
Ya neh cars are expensive, imagine one has to Nett 30K to afford an entry level polo 🥺

Hey Muzi, do you think its advisable if you got this car at R280k, (2000kms) and put down a deposit of R40k? thats what im looking at currently

Iyakinyeka in English Muzi😂😂😂 great review man
fuel consumption is probably affected the way u drive using a manual car needs experience when it comes to saving petrol i don't think a 2 litter engine has higher fuel consumption than a 1 litter
