good tip for running neg and pos wires that are seperate stick them in your drill chuck and twist em together with the drill makes it look neat keeps em together

Nice install. FYI the PAP112 is only rated for one 100 watt speaker. I use the same model in my XJ Cherokee and my Tahoe. Best horn ever, and legal to use on a civilian vehicle.

You should always try to run the negative side directly to the vehicle chassis, not all the way back to the battery. I don't know how you have your second battery connected, whether it's completely stand-alone, or if it connects to the other battery and charging system. I would understand if the second battery isn't connected to your jeep's main electrical system, but then how do you charge it?

Any momentary switch will work. Just depends on what you want. The one I got was just a small push button. You could also just hook it up to your car’s horn. I didn’t do that for mine, since the clock spring was broken on mine, so the horn didn’t work

The only thing I thought was ok was the mounting location of the PA Horn/Speaker. The wiring however looks very Micky Moused and unprofessional. I would recommend getting a good soldering iron, a real crimp tool and split loom tubing to protect the wires!
Ha Ha!...my k1500 is going to have a tactical look when completed and this will be great to use at an intersection when the driver in front of me is too busy looking at their phone to notice that the light is green....DRIVER, DROP YOUR PHONE AND MOVE YOUR VEHICLE NOW!...they look in their mirror and see a dark gray swat team truck on it's way to a hostage situation....of course I will look in my mirror to make sure there is no cop that is wanting to make me a hostage.
Not here to shit on the guy but as a mechanic and electrical installer this video hurt. Those aren’t wire crimps. Don’t use a knife on any step of this. Just unplug the battery so no wires are hot. Tuck your wiring. You should not need zip ties. If this looked like an informative video on installing to you then please go to a mechanic. Other then that it sounds nice which is why I came here

I'll be getting the same set up for my Harley-Davidson. it's a cop bike so maybe I can find some wiring already there but not used. although a cop bike it was stripped of the good stuff before selling it to the public only to know. Just did this on a little sport trac. Added a CB w pa too. Wire loom was a god send and keeps everything clean looking and protected. 🔊🔊🔊

It's in the video description, but it is 14AWG copper wire stranded. Everything else came with the kit
I wish there was a way to only have the electric horn. I dont need a PA system, sirens etc. Only that electric horn (when he pushed the green button).
You don't have to hook up the PA part of it, but this is the stripped down version, without the siren. I don't think they make one any cheaper
