I did a search for just this and found this video. Didn't know it was yours lol. Thank you SO much, I need this in my life. Less expensive than I thought too, so that's a plus.

One of those would be useful for reminding all the the left lane cruising fools that clog that lane up where I live that the left lane is only for passing.
I had 2 original horns so I removed one and used those wires to wire the compressor and worked great.

I bought this same exact horn kit from Amazon. It is louder than stock but no-where near 150db. At 4ft in front of the truck I measured the stock horn to be 89db and this air horn to be 105db. Don't worry 105db is still plenty louder than stock. My ears ached a little after four tests. (Im pretty sure the 150db advertised could be achieved with an upgraded compressor with more psi and a storage tank.)
Pro Tip; if your horn is too quiet: Use a proper fog light wiring kit like Truck Master did in his video. If you use skinny wire the compressor cant draw enough power and never spins to its capacity.
Yeah, the claimed dB ratings on the packages are always misleading. dB ratings mean nothing without a distance from the sound source. The average consumer sees 150 dB's and gets excited and buys it, without ever considering what that dB rating is actually based on. Sure, it might be 150 dB at 4 inches away, but without a distance listed, it's impossible to know how loud it actually is before you buy it.
I bought a new air horn kit from auto zone....they both sound LOUD😱 pretty similar.... I bought the two horn set up...really easy to install. I put mine on my Chevy G20 van 👍🏿💥💪🏿✋🏾😎

I noticed you mounted the horn with a slight angle, if you mounted it the other way around you wouldnt have a problem. But with it mounted how it is, after a few days of rain and not using it. It'll sound like a drowning turkey until the water is cleared out

I actually bought them and it’s super loud for 20$ 😂😂 I was too scared to use it at a stoplight cause it’s that’s loud 😂 definitely worth 20$. Just don’t get it wet! I live in Minnesota so mine froze up and has a whinney sound but when it’s dry, it’s loud asf!

You should mount the toggle switch as is somewhere in the cab and just run the power wire straight off of the stock horn wire harness (add a relay if you're worried about circuit overload). That way you can toggle whether or not you want the air horn to sound off with the switch and blow it alongside stock straight from the steering wheel.
Exactly what I was thinking. A nice covered, lighted, toggle, "Arm Air Horns" switch.

Nice, bro. My only concern would be if your blocking a significant amount of air flow to the radiators, due to the aux beam and now the horn.

Just bought this exact horn from HK and had it shipped here to South Africa. Intend to hang mine on a Nissan Navara (Frontier) as the cost of getting the steering wheel contact point repaired was going to be 6 times what I got this thing for :) Plus, a small part of me wants to be able to fire it off at offending vehicles.

I just installed that same horn in my car. but it is so much LOUDER than your horn because i hooked it up to my 12v air compressor that I have in my trunk. So I shoot 50psi straight to the horn and it is crazy loud
If you add a 2nd one you will get the echo horn effect I did it with wolo 619's This is real cool :) Love it!
I'll never understand why you and so many others, when they fit air horns, also choose to fit a button separate to the steering wheel horn pad???
When you need to sound the horn in an emergency, it is natural instinct to press the steering wheel horn. By the time you remember where the airhorns button is and get your finger onto it, you've lost a second or two....which could be the difference between having a crash and not!
Here's my suggestion. Remove the press button and replace it with a ON/OFF toggle or rocker switch. One wire to the relay (as already exists) and the other one to the factory horn wire.
Now, when the new switch is in the ON position, the airhorns will sound whenever you press the factory horn (the factory horn will still sound too, but you won't be able to hear it!!!).
If the cops want to check your horn works at a roadside stop, and you don't want to risk getting a ticket because the airhorns will make the cop soil his pants, then just flick the switch and when you press the steering wheel horn, only the factory horn will sound.

Bill Roach it’s not that easy to switch a train horn in with the actual horn, many have actually died from messing with the horn when they hit the airbag and it goes kaboom in their face

I'm getting one of these for my 07 Camry because every time I'm driving there's morons cutting me off making their left in right turn onto my path one day I'm gonna end up T-boning one of these idiots on the road and I will not be at fault I thought about installing 3 Air horns on the roof of my Camry it'll look just like a Semi truck but more like a kind of rally car eBay has the ones with the exact sound I want I may buy 3 of them and buy a big compressor tank to run them about 200psi

I have the same problem. My horn isnt very loud. Ford focus 2008. Friend says it sounded like a clown horn. Been wanting to upgrade but the compactness of the car makes it difficult to find something loooooouuuuuudddddd but that can fit.

I just picked up a VTech 12 volt train horn. Looks identical to what you've purchased. My directions, however state that the compressor actually has to installed in a vertical position. Did your directions state that by any chance?

Why dont you use the relay and use the factory horn circuit to actuate the new horn relay. No wires through the firewall and all new wiring under hood. :)
Do you think the forward (movable) bracket changes the tone? Wondering if you remove it would it change the sound. Deeper maybe?

Ok, wait. Is it possible I can just buy this and wire it right to my battery? I have an existing PA speaker with an extra wire that I can connect the horn too. So why can't I connect that and then run it through the firewall to the battery?

The issue is the sound is very mono directional. It really needs to be mounted facing forward.

what did you use for your ground? for the direction for the one i have doesnt mention anything about a ground. and would you say the best way would be a wiring kit that already has the fuse box on it?
Best way to ground is a 2.5sq.mm wire straight from the battery with a 10amp fuse box in series into the horn...wiring kit/harness does the same thing in terms of grounding

If you want to use factory horn button. Just hook old horn lead to relay input, and still run separate 12v from battery to the relay and from relay to the compressor.
Another way would be to use a switch to turn enable or disable the air horn, but still have it activated by the oem horn button.
That way you click the activate big horn switch, and then use the oem horn, you get both horns. Otherwise, you just have oem horns.
May want to use a lighted switch though, so you don't forget if you leave it on.

Probably didn't come with a harness cause u can replace ur stock horn with the air horn. Using the stock harness.

New to this... why do you need a relay? Could you just wire switch straight to battery and horn...?
The factory wiring is not adequate for the high current it takes to work the air horns. This is why you need a relay

I got one of these. Its not that loud. You can actually stand in front of it n not blow an ear drum. You might probably install two compressors for extra loudness
