@ Mark Murralsee... If you take a look at the Whelen PAP112... sirennet.com/store/product/whelen-100-watt-air-horn-plus-with-pa-function This version offers HI and LO Air-horn Tones.
If room allows it could be mounted in the trunk or side bags if the bike has them. Otherwise might need to see how much space there is under the passenger seat or side fairings. You'll also need to get and mount a 100watt speaker. Some folks go with the WSSC30's. The compact size works great for mounting one on the crash bars. It's tamed down & produces 30watts. sirennet.com/store/product/feniex-4200-mini-controller
Good Morning... The Whelen PAH112 only offers this single Air-horn Tone. To go along with it, you would need a single 100Watt Speaker such as the SA315P.
Roughly how much louder (if any) would a 100W air horn such as this (with the appropriate speaker) than a standard car horn. I know that there is no "standard" car horn, but I am just looking for a ballpark figure. Just curious, trying to find out if these are legal in FL, I don't imagine them being seen as obnoxiously loud though.
+goigle We'll be adding a side by side Video later on comparing a standard Car-horn and a 100Watt Air-horn. Between the 2, the 100 Watt Air-horn will definitely be much louder then an OEM Horn. Check off-hand, about 4-5 times the loudness.
I currently have this installed and would like to upgrade it to the PAP112 but the wiring is different. From two connect to one. It's it fairly simple to change it?
+LawnTractorBoy The Whelen PAH112 shown is really as compact as a stand-alone Air-horn Amplifier comes. One Unit that may interest you is available via the following link:sirennet.com/store/product/soundoff-200-series-compact-siren
The PAH112 only offers this one tone. If you jump over to the PAP112 with microphone, you'll find more tones to select from. For a full tone range, that's where the ALPHASL or a 295 series comes in.
sirennet has EVERYTHING
Our slogan at one time was... "We've got it all!"
Alexanders Alarms Whelen has evrything
It just doesn't sound like the power air horns I hear on police units.

Motorcycle mountable?
Or perhaps a smaller version for motorcycle.

Is the tone only the one you hear in the video or dependent on the siren that you install.

@@SIRENNET even volunteers cant have sirens so would this classify as a siren??
@@MC-hs4mfSo you avoid any issues we'd recommend consulting your States Vehicle Codes for sirens. It might be okay, then again, it might not.

+SIRENNET great info thanks!
Horn ring, not ringer
Sirens are not even dor a volunteer in a POV in FL.
Ask Jeremy Dewitte
I currently have this installed and would like to upgrade it to the PAP112 but the wiring is different. From two connect to one. It's it fairly simple to change it?
It'll be pretty easy and straight forward. You've already taken care of the tuff end which is running the power and ground and your tone switch.
Does this come with instructions to connect the trigger wire to the horn ring?
Yes, it does include Installation instructions. They are not vehicle specify so you will need to identify your vehicles horn trigger wire.
What's the decibel range of this horn?
When paired with a SA315P speaker, it's 123db.
Do you do a horn with a smaller control box?

+SIRENNET thanks, I will look into that. I need a loud horn to put in some agricultural machinery.
are these legal for civilian circuit?
For legalities; please check your State's vehicle horn & lighting code.
is there other tones for horns?
The PAH112 only offers this one tone. If you jump over to the PAP112 with microphone, you'll find more tones to select from. For a full tone range, that's where the ALPHASL or a 295 series comes in.

Is there a horn that has a deeper sound? Like the first sound on this video: th-cam.com/video/STs2rg4uLF0/w-d-xo.html ?
