There's s place in the Yorkshire Dales called Arnscliffe and Emmerdale was filmed there when Emmerdale was called Emmerdale Farm

You must be a postman Pat fan ? The real day to day life and soul the "dales" (even if based on the Lake district) if that floats your boat give Ivor the engine a try for life deep in the Welsh countryside and if like to "ride" along on a drive up down over and around some Wales at it's best try You Tuber Mr....HubNut... for one his local drives .

Actually, Emmerdale is North Yorkshire, Just. All creatures great and small was filmed in that area. I worked at the creamery in Gale road Hawes in 1978 and stayed in askrigg, saw the film crews there. stunning part of the world.

So much was wrong about this, and I was just as anxious as some others to correct you several times, but you know what...well done for dragging your arse out of London. Your enthusiasm is refreshing, and actually you know, the rest doesn't really matter so much.
HOWEVER,
I'll just say that we're NOT on the west cost, and 'Silverdale' might happen to have 'dale' in its name, but is not anywhere near The Yorkshire Dales (shhh! -it's in Lancashire -and it's a cardinal sin to get Yorkshire -God's own country- mixed up with Lancashire!😳)
