- during a sight seeing tour a boat was soaked in water by a humpback whale that was putting on a show and it later swarmed off with its siblings. Its actually a baby whale

That is a sperm whale..
Its pretty much splashing his sperm on you
Nice camera work.
Wow! I've been there. Didn't know there were whales in that water. These people in the boat are very lucky to have witnessed one.
Tourists: "dolphins are so adorable"
Whale: " I'll show you adorable"
*massively adorable

Whale then, he sure did show that dolphin what's up.

Possibly the best cameraman of all time. Videos horizontally, doesn't yell, quickly pans over to the whale, and the camera is stable.
I think she is a camerawoman. You can hear her at the end. Nontheless extraordinary performance.
He has seen it before. The kraken jumping outside the water would scare the ish out of the average person
True true, too many people scream and video portrait.
@@sarilari4517 The Term "Cameraman" is Gender Neutral and applies to whatever you are, enough with the wokeness
@@themanwithnothingtolose LMAO! Wow, triggered much? It's not about being "woke." People throw that word around all the time. It's just that women don't always get the credit that we deserve, and people often assume it's a man doing something significant. The OP was just trying to be more specific. Furthermore, cameraMAN is not gender neutral, cameraPERSON is gender neutral.
Anyone else find it crazy how huge they are and that they’re just chillin out there. I genuinely love whales
Yes. Same here.

Perfect! The krill comes at close second
I was on a medium-size sailboat once probably 200 miles offshore around Nova Scotia, and this happened. Good-size whale jumps out of the water with no warning whatsoever very close to the boat. It is fun and awe-inspiring, but it really reminds you how small you are out there, and how it's THEIR ocean.
The laughing at the end is nervous, scared and liberating at the same time.
It’s the awareness that whales are powerful creatures that can tip boats but they choose to be gentle giants ❤

he is probably not an american !!!
What if he record it vertical and then crop it before uploading
Zul M nah it would be all zoomed in and would look like shit
And held it steady as he was capturing the moment! Awesome!
To think of that whale submerged deep below the boat and developing, strategizing, and then executing this plan and jump to connect / bond with these people, if only for a few seconds, is mind-boggling. As it swam away into the depths after nailing it's jump, , it is not inconceivable to also think there was a smile on its face knowing those few seconds of shared experience just created a lifetime of appreciation , wonder, and joy....
Beautiful
Wow!
youre personifying that animal way too much
Do they know we as humans are curious about them too ? 🥹
Yes and I think they are very curious about us so jumping out of water to see us is very much like us diving down to see aquatic life.
I sincerely would cry if I'd see such a show. Whales are so majestic and beautiful, I'd like to see one one day

Ok can we just appreciate the reflexes of the cameraman to capture this
Keeping in mind her laugh while capturing the whale, I think it's a camerawoman or let's rather use the term cameraperson...:)
Camera man always survive
Sometimes word "man" does not follow the gender as in particular situation can be used as for term "human" or "mankind"
@@nooramirulikhwan6349 Unfortunately, that's another example of how deep-rooted patriarchy is, even in literature. If the nouns/pronouns of other genders can be generalised by using their masculine form, why can't we all rather choose to generalise them with their gender-neutral versions? For example, "cameraperson" instead of "cameraman" or "camerawoman", when there isn't surety about the gender of the subject...
@@shagunagrawal2003 I'm sorry for your language because I'm not a native english speaker.
Otherwise in my language (Malay), there are no such thing as gender-related to nouns; example, 'dia' literally used for 'he /she /it'. Furthermore, some gender-related nouns are used as a sign of respect to someone whom rarely expert in that course.
