Wow, quite amazing what comes through after polishing. Talk about not judging a book by its cover...excellent lesson! Bruce and Otis
Thanks Bruce and Otis! Hope the weather is as nice where you are today as it is where I'm at.
I have been looking at the D.P. Mini-Sonic for quite some time debating if I should or not. So glad to see you have a video up on it and will have another with the results. I hear over and over how nice they work !
I plan to do a pro's and cons video comparing to the LOT-O as well.
I own an MT-4 Mini Sonic tumbler. I like most all its features except one - getting the barrel off. Mine fits extra tight & it's hard to remove.
how much grit did you use in the 6# tumbler and how long did it tumble? thank you for the info
This kind of tumbler only requires a teaspoon of grit per barrel, and duration is dependent on what you're tumbling, but a batch of rocks hardness 7 I would tumble for a few days.
Just wondering how this compares to the Lot-O. Asking because I’m not thrilled with the quality control of the Lot-O.
LOL! I sold that Lot-O in my other video to my cousin because I found it to be such a pain to just get it to work in a basic way. Then I bought this one at the beginning of this season. In quick terms, I like the Sonic over the LOT-O. I plan to make a video comparing them both this summer.
