Thanks for the reply! Yes, it was laser cut steel sheets they sent you and you weld them together and they stack on each other. If I was closer I would get a set from you. Great job on the videos keep them coming.
@ThePaintPaperHustle trust ull use it more than u think it's worth it.. especially u dealing with buying and selling cars and trucks ...ps we sell used tires that tire should of been put on from the back side of the rim u can tell because of the inter drum of the rim u need rim protectors for ur tire machine for rims that have to be done that way ...should of used a 10.50 wide tire
@ he’s I later figured out that I needed to tire spoon it on the floor from the back side so the machine didn’t damage the front lip lol. We wanted as small of a tire as possible we worked for hours and hours to figure that out early in this build. This stretch ended up being perfect
@ThePaintPaperHustle those tire machine rim paw protectors help prevent scratches theres also one that goes on the drop arm of the machine to for the piece that spins around the rim ...that cars ur building going to have air ride suspension to drop it and lift it ?
You have to take out the valve stem out, so that the air rushes in a lot quicker, also put a wide 2''ratchet strap around the tire to push in the center of the tire inward and use tire lube to make the tire go past the bead. It seems like you are asking a lot from the 50 sidewall to go on a 12'' rim, I wish the best of luck with getting the bead to lock.
At end of video tire is at max psi and fully seated. Rim was wrong way on tire machine but correct on floor installing tire from back side of rim using tire spoons
@ just remember that the narrow side of wheel goes up trying to dismount the tire wrong and will never come off I put those exact tires tires on 15-16 wide wheels often
If it ripped the bead you're done If the bead was good llube the hell out of everything with tire lube .the gooy liquid i have put up to 80 psi to seat . I guess you know reverse mount rim lol.
It was lubed, I damaged the bead trying to force it on the wrong way. I’ve already got a replacement tire at the shop for this now. It went on issue free once I put it on from the back side in the floor with tire spoons
You don’t stretch the tire it’s in the mounting I put 10” tires on 15 wide wheels all the time mounting is no problem just beading up then the cheater tank solves that
If you put 10” wide tires on 15” rims then that’s referred to as “tire stretching” the tires material doesn’t stretch it’s just what the process is referred to as.
@ ok never heard it called that I’m very old school worked in tire business for years it’s kinda easy if you know how but very difficult if you don’t just trying to help you out
Love the style of the rims but never got into stretching tires. But looks cool
Thanks buddy
I seen John doc do a lot of tires stretching on his channel he would be a good source of information
That’s in bead locks. Wayyyyyy easier with them
Cool 😎 !
🫡
Go to harbor freight and get you a cheater tank then you won’t need ether anymore
Bead lube, once mounted the right direction, with a bead blaster will mount right up
Once we put it on the floor and installed from back side it went right on with tire spoons
Lube
We did and always use that
Was it you that mentioned a shop that makes weld yourself wheel cribs? I've been searching forever for a birthday gift.
Weld yourself? I sell wheel cribbing blocks that are built with wood LVL 2x4s for $100 a set
Thanks for the reply! Yes, it was laser cut steel sheets they sent you and you weld them together and they stack on each other. If I was closer I would get a set from you. Great job on the videos keep them coming.
@hajovskymatthew I don’t think that was me that mentioned the weld ones
Looks good Courtney if you didn't get your new light plug here is a model # 5059 leviton plug and plate
Ok I’ll look that up thanks
Get u a bead blaster from harbor freight or northern tools worth every penny if u change tires yourself 👍
I rarely do tires. I’ve thought about buying one though. Maybe I’ll grab one on sale

Yes it’s getting bagged
You are mounting the tires wrong the wheel needs to be turned over narrow side of bead on wheel to the top see the wide flange to the bottom
Correct that’s what I did on the floor with tire spoons when it finally went on
looks like a wheel tire for a import car or truck
Definitely does

Thanks buddy
You're mounting it backwards
Got it all sorted out
Home Depot if they are in your area
Thanks
I’ve mounted thousands of tires I’m telling you the rim was upside down and the tire still not all the way up put more air it will pop again
At end of video tire is at max psi and fully seated. Rim was wrong way on tire machine but correct on floor installing tire from back side of rim using tire spoons

Lol ( A) for effort
lol got it done though. New tire and we will be good to go
I just don't know what to say about this one ??????? 😮
😂
Shit I didn't think people were still stretching tires thought that fad died a few years back
lol absolutely not. Still very popular in the car world

@ I greatly appreciate it buddy. Type in “tire stretching” on TH-cam and check it out lol you may not like the traditional style of it
Hey buddy work smart not harder use your tire machine to mount your tire back side up
Can’t it’ll damage the lip of the rim on the face.
You need to get a plastic duck head for
Aluminum wheels
@dwlaboy we rarely do any wheels we care about though. I won’t do wheels for anyone but our own stuff
Nope
👍🏻
Looks like a dog chewed on the back of the wheel. Better get out the Sharpie. lol
😂 I don’t give a crap about the insides
