Thanks David.... Good question. I reckon it's due to the fact that Brisbane is simply a much larger council with a much larger budget, that they have built simply better and more dedicated bikeways. Whereas poor Logan City are not really "bikeways" per se in my opinion, but more accurately "walkways".... and Council has simply bannered them as 'cycle routes' to throw a pathetic bone to the cycling community here which really is embarrassing to be honest. As I'm riding all these cycling routes around the place, I can really see where the money is, and where the money is not being invested.
@@davidryland9695 To be fair to Logan City Council the walkway was constructed over thirty years ago and does not meet current specifications for a shared bike way.
@@jelbuilderfilmsThe connection to Collie Street is about 300 metres long and has no stairs. I think you might be referring to the connection to Pointer Street.
Its a shame logan city council is not making enough of such trails, there is so much potential in the area !!, no wonder this council have such a bad reputation
This is a great track to walk or run or ride, I normally go to the start on Collie St next to the small playground, so much to see on this walk, and there's a Mountain biking track directly across from that shelter where the pump track is that's fun to ride. Also awesum seeing Kangaroos and Wallabies most times in people's yards or in the bush. One of my favorite areas. 🤙
Hey Mate, Maybe the shiny arsed pen pushers in charge of these bikeways need to get off their shiny bums and ride these from time to time. I can't help but feel there is a shakedown of some sort of grants for bikeways here to put lines on maps.. Great Vid..
Thanks, much appreciated. I actually do use my bell when absolutely necessary like when they're blocking the path.... I've found hoomans actually do crazier things when I ring my bell, as in they don't know where to go, or they'll jump to an illogical side... compared to say me simply riding straight past them. You're right though... They are unpredictable🙄 I do my best to ensure courtesy... Within reason, lol.
Great video of the areas bikeways. Question? Why does Brisbane have such wide bikeways and Logan so many narrow?

What a positive energetic video. Thanks
Enjoy your vids and your banter. I reckon you need to use your bell more. Humans can be unpredictable 😂
Awesome ride
Thanks for watching, Peter. :)
The bikeway next to Parkview Crescent also has a connection north west to Collie Street.
That's right... there is a small connection there with some stairs to ride down.

Yes you're right... That's the one I meant 👍

Enjoy all your content. Thanks heaps.
As a request, is there a chance you might be able to do the Brisbane twin bridges to Mt Coot-tha lookout. Cheers
Thanks for watching... I take it you mean the Twin Gateway Bridges?
@@jelbuilderfilms yes. Gateway bridges.

Shailer Park sounds like Trailer Park

Totally agree.... Thanks Tony👍
Can’t believe you told beginners to ride down resurrection 😂
It's either sink or swim on that track 🤣... Or usually fall off and break something
