I've been waiting to make this for a while now - moved on from hands free with the new DJI Neo and now using the Goggles 3 & Motion Controller 3 as a FPV drone and to be honest - amazed! enjoy the video
@@Droneaway-72 Hi, you only use the phone to bind the devices or when updating. Plug your cable from phone to Goggles 3 and usually the screen will come up on your phone to view, I use it to show what's going on - sometimes it don't work.
I agree about people around, especially with the goggles on. I live in the city so i have a fear of getting tunnel vision and not paying attention to my surroundings and then getting robbed or sucker punched. Even with the Mavic i had that problem of launching then all the sudden im surrounded by homeless wanting to look at the screen, like crap am i going to have to fight them off now....
Thank you Roy, glad you enjoyed the video and you will be so happy with this drone - so much you can do - DJI have done their best so far. Many thanks for watching
Thank you Paul, glad you enjoyed the video. Yes, if I didn't know I was flying the DJI Neo, I would have sworn it was the DJI Avata 2. Not put it through all my tests as a FPV drone but so far, it's looking good and I said I wouldn't buy this drone Many thanks for watching
You have to have the goggles since the controllers control through the goggles but you can turn the goggles on and put them down and fly without them...flying line of sight only.
@shaunthedrone thanks, i asked because i have the DJI RC2 and planned to connect my ar glasses into the controller and then use the motion controller to fly without having to buy the new goggles. It would've been a dope way to fly fpv while still being able to see my surroundings well.

Great video thank you..just bought the neo and a motion controller to use with neo and mini 4 pro
You're going to love your new DJI Neo and thanks for watching.

Can you tell me do you keep your phone attached to the transmitter and also the goggles I can’t see a video anywhere

@@shaunthedronehhmm so if you want to go from video to photo shoot you have to do from the goggles ?
Thanks for your help
@@Droneaway-72 When you go into your Goggles 3 settings, camera, you can have video on, straight from take off.
I have a question. can I pair any type of goggles with the RCN3 instead of the motion controller for the Neo drone? thanks for the video
Good question, I only know you can pair, Goggles 3 & FPV Remote Controller 3 - I'm bringing out a video this Friday flying the Neo in Manual mode

Question, can the motion controller be connected to the drone and flown without the goggles or is the goggles required to do any sought of fpv flying?
Good question but no. You still need the Goggles 3 even when using the DJI RC2. All the main controls are in the goggles. Many thanks for watching.

Habra que esperar al Neo S para que tenga una cámara decente
Muy cierto, espero que haya un Neo Pro antes de finales de este año. Muchas gracias por mirar.
Haha didnt see the drone at all, only your head. Put the camera lower next time
Many thanks for watching
