    It's almost scary that so many highly talented people are on stage there and bring us infinite joy with amazing ease. Meanwhile, I would like to thank you for your reaction videos. You don't analyze the concert recordings to death, but with your specialist understanding you bring us closer to what is happening there and at the same time show the deserved appreciation. 😀

    Corey Henry shaking his head and smiling almost indisbelief to Jacobs solo actually pretty much sums everything up. This transcends anything

    If you are curious about Jacob Collier, the BBC recently did a documentary feature on him (it runs a little over one hour). Gives a good overview of his life so far. It features thoughts from a few music legends like Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock, Hans Zimmer...th-cam.com/video/ERvd5QjupSU/w-d-xo.html

    See at this point the answer when someone asks who's your favorite overall music group, it's really now
    "Oh you mean besides Snarky Puppy?" They've gotten us to that point I think. :)

    The funkiest 14/4 I’ve ever heard… and the keyboard JC is playing is a 1 of 1 keyboard with a mic input which choralizes JC’s voice to as many keys as he can hold down (developed by JC and the MIT Media division)

    I was a student of yours in the past, this isn’t exactly a reaction suggestion due to the presumed copyright issues but I think you’d really enjoy Black Country, New Road’s work on their debut album: For the first time. If you’re looking for a specific track off of it to react to, I would recommend either Instrumental or Athens, France. Thanks

    Please help me - I thought Big Ed Lee was a drummer not a tuba player.

    • @bobcieslinski
      @bobcieslinski  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope he’s the tuba player in the video. The main drummer is Larnell Lewis.

    Please react to Angelina Jordan - I Put A Spell On You th-cam.com/video/nwFloCPXzCs/w-d-xo.html a tribute to Screamin Jay Hawkins th-cam.com/video/7kGPhpvqtOc/w-d-xo.html
    Or maybe her first time on tv Angelina Jordan - Gloomy Sunday audition - Norway's Got Talent- english subtitles th-cam.com/video/d3gSho9yf88/w-d-xo.html after listening to the original by Billie Holiday th-cam.com/video/KUCyjDOlnPU/w-d-xo.html
    She has done over 160 covers by over 60 artist and 5 originals + 2 written for "The Barefoot Singer With The Velvet Voice And A Mona Lisa Smile"
    Or maybe one of her own music Angelina Jordan - Million Miles (Live in Studio) th-cam.com/video/3KxvwuZ7oEM/w-d-xo.html
    As someone said before... The only thing bigger than her music is her heart.
    How is it possible? I have come to the conclusion "Because it is Angelina"

    autotune

      @thomaslehmanbaritone ปีที่แล้ว

      For effect, pal.

    • @fliprim
      @fliprim ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nope. Auto-harmonisation. The keys decide the pitch shifts, relative to JCs input. JC needs no auto-tune, indeed, it would kill some of the little pitch slides he throws in.

    • @bryanleggo3489
      @bryanleggo3489 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is NOT auto-tune. It is the harmonizer invented for him at MIT which takes his natural voice and spreads it across whatever keys he is pressing without any tuning. He doesn't need it since he has perfect pitch and sing in quarter tones and cub when he wants to.
