Mainly to summarize the final count of removed metal, but also they will be visible in the later episodes, one way or another....I see that your Sonet project has a new episode out, I saved it for the late night entertainment..I had a Saab Sonet poster on my wall at the 80's, about same time I found out that Opel GT is kinda cool two seater sportscar...

Вот умница! Как легко и непринужденно это на видео. А сколько упорства , терпения и труда! Ведь , фактически ,человек на коленке "выколотил" новый кузов!
Glad it helped. Only issue would be the seam between quarter panel and the top lid of the "boot". I had the luxury of no need to worry about that, since I need to make it new anyway..
@@GT1900garage That is the reason why so many painted car corpses are for sale, a restoration of quality like you do is too much work for 99% of all people.
You know what sucks about this video? The fact that I can't give it more than one thumbs up. I believe this is truly your best video/production to date. The opening sequence of the tools moving and the removal and cleanup of the rear quarter panel is top notch. Kudo's for the excellent video production. Second, and not less than the first, is Kudo's on the quality work once again. I'm in awe of what you're doing and I believe as time goes on your subscribers will continue to go through the roof, not because they care about the Opel, but mainly because they are watching a true craftsman at work. My hat's off to you sir. Well done; I'm a fan.
You continue to do a wonderful job. Isn’t it amazing how this work can be done with limited tools, creativity, and planing? I had no idea how deteriorated the car was when you started. All cars rust. Some makes and models more than others. I knew these cars were prone to rust, but you are rebuilding a lot of real estate! Awesome work. Very creative approach.
Thanks for the comment. Yes, I kinda knew what I was getting into when I started . But honestly, the condition of the car has been FAR worse than I expected (and hoped for)
Excellent and very mature way to handle things that are just a matter of opinions. Well, art is what artist thinks of art...If this is art, this would be the mixture of picasso and local dude with three paint cans but only one brush...
I appreciate that. Well in this episode I have a "mood swings", hence there is some peaks and valleys in the musical score. Generally working with this car is "approaching zen state", therefore the music usually is more ambient and moody. But sometimes I just like speed up videos to +500% and let it all out !!

Couldn't agree more! Hopefully she will respond at the end and feelings would be mutual...
Amazing attention to detail.
Thanks! Glad you liked it...stay tuned for more.
Nice job and fun video to see👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Amazing work. Thank you for this series. 👍👍👍
Thanks for the comment...Appreciated those who stay with the whole series..
Well done! I like that you even grind out the hammer marks of newly fabricated repair panels!
Thanks, of course.. they have to look good on the camera 😉
@@GT1900garage I think you have a very nice workshop, but, what I find best, is that you do not have very expensive tools. That motivates me to try more difficult work on my cars👍 as well!
Thanks so much for doing this. I need to replace a right rear quarter panel too and it has been intimidating. This helps a great deal!
Glad it helped. Only issue would be the seam between quarter panel and the top lid of the "boot". I had the luxury of no need to worry about that, since I need to make it new anyway..
You did a great 3D puzzle from Steel - wow!
And I'm still in dismantling state...
@@GT1900garage That is the reason why so many painted car corpses are for sale, a restoration of quality like you do is too much work for 99% of all people.
So goooood.
The time you spent on the job + the time to produce your video = Congrats !
Thanks for the comment. Appreciated. This episode was more fun to do the fabrication, hence more fun to do the video editing as well..
Always amazed and always surprised. Awesome.
Thanks for the comment, appreciated !
ALSO, digging the metal music and the pop stuff is ok too. More metal please... lol.
Thanks for the comments. I am doing this to myself, hence I need to know that there are nothing left undone...
Watching the unthinkable being done. Truely amazing.
Thanks, compared to previous two episodes, this was a piece of cake...
Excellent body work great animation.
Thanks for the comment... Appreciated.
Incredible Video 👌🏽👍🏽... Great skills & work 👏🏽!
Respect from Germany 😉
Thank you 🙌 Glad you liked the videos and the project itself...
But honestly, the condition of the car has been FAR worse than I expected (and hoped for)
Keep going! This is so motivating and inspiring
Bonjour from France 👋
Merci beaucoup !!
You sir are a true artist!
Appreciated.
Un travail remarquable et de longue haleine pour restaurer dans les règles de l’art cette Opel GT ! 👍👍👍👍❤
Merci beaucoup pour votre commentaire, j'apprécie votre avis
Loved it as usual. Can't say I was a fan of the metal music but hey, I just turned the volume down. You do you. Great video.
Excellent and very mature way to handle things that are just a matter of opinions. I personally love Melodic Death Metal but I certainly can also enjoy TH-cam entertainment with classical music score . Thanks for the thumbs up and lets enjoy what we do like, and lets not get offended things that are not my cup of tea !!! Thanks for the comment.
Like your style, cheers 👍💪✌
Appreciated.
And that's how you get better at it with every piece done.
Slowly, but eventually all the small things will be done, and we are close to complete metal work...
Loving this build
Enjoying every step
Thanks Bryan for the comment. Love your Celica... One of my favorites in 80's
@@GT1900garage I’ve just got it on a rotisserie ready for restoration
Learnt so much watching your channel
Will keep me busy for a while
Good luck with it.. And hopefully you find it less time absorbing project than mine is... how bad it is?
@@GT1900garage considering it’s from 1977 it’s pretty solid car
A few patches on the floor, both A post one B post , front scuttle all of which I have taken of a car I broke
So no fabricating also all body panels including quater panels I brought new from Toyota 20 years ago
So nothing compared to yours !!
Just finding time to do it all
what a nice start to the video and incredibly beautifully made, you work the metal as if it were made of paper.
really great to watch how beautiful it becomes 👍🏻🙂
Thanks. I've tried to do origami from a paper, metal is easier material..🙄
I really enjoy your Videos Great work 👍👍👍👍
Glad you like them!
Looking forward to another installment!
Thanks for comment. I have had a few weeks total break from the GT project, but now I am back at the garage. I try to get next video out early next week...
What a nice surprise !! Part 24 😊😊
All yours! This one was more fun to do than previous two....Hope you liked it

Wow, you really put a lot of effort into this vid, well done
Thank you , appreciated.
It's amazing what you're doing, you're rebuilding the car 😃👍 I'm thrilled to keep up the good work💪💪
Apparently I am... stay tuned til the bitter end.
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
Some sort of art!
Well, art is what artist thinks of art...If this is art, this would be the mixture of picasso and local dude with three paint cans but only one brush...
Amazing as always sir ❤❤
Thanks for the comment, appreciated.
Man I marvel at your work . Great stop action videos But when it comes to music I guess we like what like
I appreciate that. Well in this episode I have a "mood swings", hence there is some peaks and valleys in the musical score. Generally working with this car is "approaching zen state", therefore the music usually is more ambient and moody. But sometimes I just like speed up videos to +500% and let it all out !!
Absoluter Wahnsinn, ganz tolle Unterhaltung.Danke.
Vielen Dank. Ja, so ist es.😂
Oh dear. Oh DEAR! OMFG! So much rust damage! And this is only the rear right side. I hope that the other parts of the bodywork are not as bad, but I don't really believe it. All the best anyway and I hope that your stubbornness ultimately leads to you being able to enjoy driving around in a great Opel GT.
Thanks for the uplifting comment... appreciated...
Es war schön, es wiederzusehen.
Der Anfang hat besonders viel Spaß gemacht.
Bis zur nächsten Folge.
It was beautiful to see again.
The beginning was especially fun.
See you next episode.
Thanks again, so we see !!
Marvellous, best videos on TH-cam!
Appreciate your appreciation.
Another great video. Billiant editing too!
Thanks, looking forward your next installment
