Yes they Are. I have 3 of them. I was able to buy my last one for $12. I just finished up customizing one of mine. I will have a video on it Sunday. Thanks for watching 🤗💯👍. Appreciate it
So heres a little info. The strichtarn camo was originaly from poland and Czechoslovakia. The difference is that the original version is more vibrante and has infrared capabilities. The NVA ( east germany) adopted and ised it from the laate 60s to 1990. Heres the thing its not their first camo The first camo the NVA used was called blumentarn . Its like looking at the top of a flowrr and watching it bloom . Those with blumentarn is really hard to find and are exspensive . The nva assault pack remains the same during the blumentarn era just with a different camo patteren. I a lot of nva gear for cheap so im excited about your video
It is made to connect to suspenders and belt. I don't like the system just the pack. I ended up customizing one of mine with Alice straps, and Other stuff.
The East German combat packs are good day packs. I got a few from the sportsmans guide ridiculously cheap. I shared them. I don't recall if you have the Soviet Veshmeshock, if not, you would not be disappointed I believe. Mine has become my day pack. Good to see you out making vids. John.
Thank you for watching. I don't have the one you mentioned, but I am familiar with that one. I have seen it in one of your uploads. Probably will get one. I was going to let you know I saw on Ebay a Russian kit pouch made for the Russian airborne mess kit you have that fits in a camo pouch cover with molle straps. They make one for the regular mess kits and the Russian airborne one you have. I saw them and thought of you. They seemed a little over priced though. Thanks for watching and blessings:)
I love these packs and I'm glad they're still cheap and plentiful. They're a huge value.

@@missourihomesteader1611 that is a great find!!!. We Love thrift shopping:)
If the bag was supposed to connect to suspenders and a belt wouldn’t that make it slow and hard to take off if a soldier needed to get it off quickly?
