- Here's my long Sailor Moon Spiral Heart Moon Rod PROPLICA video! The first part is a walkthrough (box, stand, batteries, all the sounds), then it's a review and finally a comparison with the original 1994 wand.
Please note all of the items in my videos are collectibles for adults. The main purpose is for collection and display, not playing. The prices of these collectibles are well beyond what normal toys would cost. The entire point of the Sailor Moon anniversary revival is targeted to the adults who have now grown up after 25 years.

You lucky lucky gal! Both wands look amazing. The Proplica is a plastic jewel, faithful to the anime design. The original is what I would grab and mishandle as a child to play and love.

OMGGGGGG, It's sooooooooo awesomeee!!!! omggg, it looks so perfectthat i think i should actually get an extra one now, so that i can keep one in display and the otehr one in mint closed condition lol. I was so amazed when i saw it on the pictures, and watching it on your video just made things even better! i am super excited to get it, the gold and red parts are just pure perfection, love how they shine and show different shades, the sculpting and colors are flawles, and of course the size!!!. But it won't be distributed here until January omggggg so lovely!!! thanks for your awesome videos as always!!
you can just display the empty box without buying another one lol. Nobody would notice because there are no windows

that little jingle at the start, before Sailor moon started twirling the rod about, was the best part~ along with the 2nd part being the giant heart smashing into the enemy :P

Finally after waiting for so many years and the price jumping up, I’ve purchased this for $330..still super excited!
I'd think maybe the reason why the Old 90s one is more bulky and thick, is because maybe this was mostly made that way so kids wouldn't break them as easily, or plastic making techniques have gotten better.
I'd say mostly because of the former, also because having something like this is fun to play with, especially when you wanna feel just like Sailor moon lol
But that one is more as a collectible, even if the sounds and features are better IMO

i just checked my order and according to amazon the rod is to be released Dec. 15. and amazon estimated it's arrival at my door between Dec. 16 & 18! sooo excited!!!!

+Tito Diogo Yeah it's from the original toy. Most of the sound effects on the old Sailor Moon toys were not that great.
+Miyuki Ozu Actually it's a brand new sound. The sound on the 90s toy was better in my opinion actually.
that sound effect (that plays when the attack starts) is not in the right key or something. The original toy got it right. That's Proplica, getting sound effects wrong since 2014.

I just got my wand, and the small lights don't light up and the sound cuts off right before sailor moon says her attack. The middle light works but the small ones don't. Also the batteries won't push in, they just pop right back out. In my other sailor moon proplicas, I can push them in and they stay by themselves without the back on. So, I don't really know what's wrong other than maybe it's because I can't push the batteries in? Anyone know?

This is truly beautiful and gorgeous and all, but the one thing I hate about these proplicas is what are they good for? Besides collecting and putting on your shelf? Cosplay shoots? That's about it I think they're way too expensive I like when Amazon cuts the price to $60 that's when you get the proplica but $100 no thank you no matter how awesome and how much I need to get this somethings are little bit more important then A proplica
you know, different people have different likings and opinions.
They're more like collector items 😜 definitely not in everyone's price range but if it makes you happy no harm!!

+SailorMoon Lover To ALL fellow Moonies out there, Bandai DID MAKE THE COSMIC HEART PROPLICA. It's just that, there's only 24 for sale and it is ONLY in Japan. If you want to buy it, you have to go through a whole bunch of crap just to get it..Since it's only sold in Japan, and there's only 24 of them. It's super annoying so I'm not even going to try, lol. I don't even know if all 24 are gone or not because the page is in Japanese, and when I translate it, it doesn't really make sense. But, maybe one day they will release it in US because they would make bank off of it just like they do everything else.
