- This is an unboxing of the 20th anniversary Sailor Moon locket! At the end I compare the 1995 locket with the new 2014 locket. You can tell that the newer one is larger, more curvy and golden, and has a different chain. The new locket feels much lighter than the older one.

Sigh... it is bulky but it's still pretty true to size. However the melody goes too fast. I want the slower, sadder melody i hear in the anime. :( that's what gives me feels.

Well, if you're willing to void the warrenty and do a little work, you can tighten the screw that controls the resistance of the governer, which will slow down the song. But you'd have to take it apart carefully to get at the winding.
T Prime bingo! I'd check with antique boutiques or maybe a watch repair place to get some tips if someone wants to try and is unfamiliar with timing mechanics.

Why does the music go so fast? I wish they can have one that sounds just as the same as the one that in anime
there is a digital one that has the same speed as the anime n it has all the effect of the clouds moving like in the anime

I wish they kept the size as small as the original one. I mean, its pretty bulky, the star locket in sailor moon wasnt that huge! Waiting on the proplica since I missed this one, but from the leaked pictures it seems that the proplica is just as big :/
***** Agreed 100%! I haven't seen the proplica pictures but if it's as big as the 20th anniversary one then that's really unfortunate. The one in the anime definitely looks around the same size as the 1995 version.
The reason why it's so big is to accomodate the inner workings of the music box. If you just want one without the music box and just to wear casually then you'd prob need to Etsy for it or something
the music is called "Moonlight Densetsu"
I was getting one and saving it for my birthday and when I checked my cart there was only one left and I got it just before it ran out of stock on ebay

truthfully I like the older one because it is smaller and it fits better. I wore both to school and I gained more compliments on the older one. people said the new one looks fake and should only be used as a music box. I know these Might not be used for wearing use but I still wear the older one

+ZeldaxSoaD The lockets actually don't need batteries! All you have to do is wind it up from the back and it will play. It's like an old fashioned music box :)
