Thank you so much for subscribing Lillie! I'm glad my efforts to fix things that can definitely still be used are appreciated especially when the things hold such a low monetary value but a high sentimental value 😅
I love that so many people gifted things to you! And your Grandmas sewing machine is awesome! When my mom died I got her sewing machine and I gifted it to one of my granddaughters.
Thank you Cathy! I love that sewing machines can be heirlooms and I will always make sure mine stay in the family as well so generations of sewists can enjoy like in your family 😊
This was a fun video to watch. Thanks for sharing. I love how functional and light your space seems. Thanks for all the ideas. Hello from Kingston, Jamaica! 🙂
What an efficient and very functional sewing space! Thank you for sharing with us. I would love to see some of the fabrics in your stash sometime! Maybe you could go through a few of your favorites and what you might plan to make out of them?
I enjoyed your video. I’m going to redo my sewing room and I am always looking for new ideas and suggestions. You just popped up and I was glad. I subscribed and am looking forward to your videos.
I just found your channel. I love your room. I, too, have my mothers sewing machine. It is a 1974 Singer that sh was so very proud of being able to buy. Her first new machine. I cherish it. I also have some some things that were my grandmothers.
This so relatable, haha, when you said random shit I need to sort thru and work in progress pile, so real haha, you must be so excited and ready to go in there it looks like a real happy space to create in!!
0:24 307 now 🤗🤗🤗 I have a Toyota machine too that my mum gave me (Z870), I love it. I’m also about to be gifted an earlier model one (Toyota branded but same as the Morse 4400 Fotomatic) from a friend once I make her a bag which I’m excited about too! Love Toyotas 🤗
The day you get to the traditional Provence costumes please count me in, I really want one but I’m not sure I would even know where to get one! And maybe an easier project could you do a tutorial for those traditional provençales skirts we used to have as kids. I’d love for my mother in law to do one for me and Loulou :) keep going Val I love those videos!
Thank you!!! That is a great idea, I know exactly the skirt you're talking about :) I believe it's actually a simple tiered skirt for which you can find a bunch of tutorials, but what makes it special is the fabric and its beautiful patterns from Provence with lavender stems and cicadas details :)
Just came across ur video….r u new at sewing or just utube?! I would live to really get into sewing. I’ve seen abit….baby blankets/bibs/burp cloths n a dress for myself n matching for my daughter when she was very young (yrs ago). 😅. Now she has a daughter and I would like to sew cloths for her n myself!
Love your sewing room! So functional with lots of light, it’s just perfect! How do you manage to keep such a reasonable fabric stash? I failed miserably at this.. 🤭
Thank you Lya!! 🥰 haha indeed I think learning not to hoard in New York City apts is a matter of survival, and my stash is mostly made of second hand fabric bc I had limited budget for the longest time. So I'd do whatever project based on whatever fabric I'd get my hands on instead of the other way around 🙃
It is an Ikea desk measuring approximately 78 by 24 inches by 29 in height. I got the simple white tabletop and paired it with their 4 wooden cone shaped legs and I had one white metal leg that I installed in the middle for extra support so it wouldn't bow. Hope that helps!
You had me as soon as you said how you fixed the knob on your sewing machine 😂 … that was so creative of you. Had to subscribe…Thank you

I have sewn for many years and started this channel last year. I hope you continue on your sewing journey for yourself and your family!
I love your cutting table, am just wondering what is the length and the width of the tabletop and it looks like you used a kallax unit
Absolutely! I combined 2 kallax units and added a 63'' by 31.5'' tabletop :)
I just subscribed. Cute room. I would love to see or hear about how you created your cutting table. Good job.
Thank you so much! I will definitely make it happen in a future video :)
looks stylish and nice Sweetheart hope to see you soon

Lovely sewing space. Did you make the coat on the dressform? And if so, is it from your sewing pattern or a pattern you purchased?
Thank you! I used the Butterick pattern B6497 for the coat and made a video about it! You'll find it in the Shorts video section of my channel :)
Your cutting table is amazing do you mind sharing where it came from? Definitely a subscriber 😊
Thank you!! It's made of 2 Ikea Kallax units and an Ikea table top. I attached all of it and added 4 casters underneath :)
I really enjoyed Ur room and U- I are thought of-blessed❤
