BCTA is basically equivalent to 4th year (final year) of Bachelor Accountancy..
That’s if you wanna do it with University of Limpopo,they also offer it.

Hi Cc, I hope you are well, I'm an aspiring CA(SA) as well, currently studying a Bcom general degree majoring in Financial Accounting and Business Management via Unisa I'm in my third year of studies and hopefully my last. I seek advice please, I'd like to know that with CTA 1 I see there are pre quisite modules that I have not done since I did a Bcom general, MAC I havn't done for instance, what would your suggestion before I apply for CTA 1 or BCOM Accounting straight to finish off the modules I havn't done, what are the chances they'll take me for CTA 1? Hey Sthembile tbh I don’t know if I can answer this because I have no knowledge or idea on this. I’m not sure if you’re asking about CTA 2? Because it seems like that’s the one you’re speaking of. I have a video on my channel where I explain how you can bridge into CTA 2 if you coming from a different BCom stream so I would suggest you watch it because I think it will answer your question
I actually answer this question in this video so I’m not sure how I should answer you because I definitely address it. I think you should consult a student Advisor at Unisa whom can help
