I really love Eddie's little cringe at 1:42. For those wondering: Song when Ormagöden appears: Brütal Legend OST - The Chosen Roadie Song when Eddie gets The Separator: Black Sabbath - Children of the Grave
I can see why Ormageddon killed the band because they desecrated his soul and spat on his eternal voice. And look at how the metal God looks at Eddie, he can see the love he has for it and how those snobs DESTROYED IT
That about sums it up. That moment when the gore warning comes up actually had me a little scared, to be honest. The Cremator of the Sky manifests a surge of fire that effectively turns the stage into a kill ring and then extends a finger at the Eddie Riggs, who is currently unconscious, bleeding and presumably suffering horrible internal damage. The Fire Beast could crush him like an ant.....but instead? It _screams_ at the Kabbage Boys with such fury that it *literally* takes their heads off. It takes all of a second to realize what Ormagoden was doing. Looking upon those who desecrate his gift to the world, he points to his disciple, realizing why he suffered. *_"You did this."_* That moment from 4:44 to 4:47 actually made me think of something else I have witnessed in my travels through the internet. I know not if it measures up to the glory of Metal, but it perfectly fits this scene: "Fight Like Hell" JT Machinima. it is unfortunate that this is the only time in the game where you get to see ormagoden himself outside of pictures and statues i always felt they missed an opportunity for a kickass dcl add on where you revive the fire beast
That would actually be awesome. Picture this: Eddie is chilling in Bladehaven with the Ironheade gang. Suddenly, Ophelia begins to hear a song so heartbreaking it nearly drives her mad. With her friends present and ready to support her, she narrowly retains her sanity and manages to focus long enough to give the Roadie and their friends a direction before she falls unconscious, and in spite of the best efforts of the Kill Master and his bassists, she will not awaken. Heeding her instruction, Eddie and co. rally the troops, mount up and haul ass toward the source of the song, revealed to be coming from somewhere beneath the Sea of Black Tears. In spite of the danger, Eddie is determined to find a way to help Ophelia, and in his search discovers a ancient cave extending deep into the earth. As he advances ever further into the bowels of the underground, the Roadie begins to hear the very song that Ophelia heard, muted at first, but growing ever clearer as he presses on, finding remnants of the First Ones civilization as he goes. Finally, he enters a cavern surrounded by massive roots, big enough to hold entire towns within themselves, and bears witness to the source of the mournful dirge: the spirit of Aetulia. Sensing the presence of a true disciple of Ormagoden, the goddess allows her song to end and restores Ophelia to health, revealing that her immersion in the Sea of Black Tears has given the Razor Girl immense magical potential, and thus allowed Ophelia to hear Aetulia's renewed song. Aetulia then explains that the restoration of the Fire Beast's power in the Age of Metal, begot by Eddie's quest in the main story, is what has given her enough power to become coherent again. Though expressing gratitude to the Roadie for helping her to sing once more, she states that a far greater challenge lies ahead. Her hope, and her request, is Edward's aid in the resurrection of Ormagoden, so that not only will all mankind be blessed with the true glory of Metal, but so that she might finally give penance to the Cremator of the Sky for her part, however unwilling, in his destruction so many eons ago.
