I've looked at 3 videos and not one shows step by step on how to remove the carburetor from the engine. Really frustrating...it would have been nice to have that process shown in the video.
I rebuilt a newer style carburetor like yours but it still won’t run smooth when I give it full throttle. Replaced tank gasket and diaphragm. Screw in jet in the side is not adjustable.
It (McLean Edger) start by injecting starting fluid into carburetor. Otherwise it doesn't start and once engine is warmed up it start without adding starting fluid. What seems to be problem. Let me know?
Well this vid is old enough for me to not remember if I fixed it and sold it or if I just scrapped it cause I couldn't get it fixed I did small engine repair for a bit for extra money and TH-cam helped a bit with that as well i fixed a lot of stuff but scrapped alot this is long gone

Soo... If the throttle shaft is loose and wiggles it's time for a new carb That could cause
