- Quiet Riot performs "Cum On Feel The Noise" Live at the US Festival. "Cum On Feel the Noize" is a rock song originally released by Slade in 1973. The song was revived in 1983 by Quiet Riot. Quiet Riot's version of "Cum On Feel the Noize" went on to peak at number five on the Billboard Hot 100 on November 19, 1983. It helped make Quiet Riot's "Metal Health" album a number-one hit. This clip from the DVD and CD release of "Quiet Riot - Live At The US Festival" is available at: www.shoutfactory.com/?q=node/1...
Quiet Riot was founded in 1973 by guitarist Randy Rhoads and bassist Kelly Garni under the original name Mach 1, before changing the name to Little Women and finally Quiet Riot in May 1975. The band's name was inspired by a conversation with Rick Parfitt of the British band Status Quo, in which Parfitt said he'd like to name a band "Quite Right", and his thick English accent made it sound like he was saying "Quiet Riot".

Lyrics:
Cum on feel the noize
Girls rock your boys
We'll get wild, wild, wild
Wild, wild, wild
So you think I got an evil mind
I tell you honey
I don't know why
I don't know why
So you think my singin's out of time
It makes me money
I don't know why
I don't know why
Anymore
Oh no
So cum on feel the noize
Girls rock your boys
We'll get wild, wild, wild
Wild, wild, wild
Cum on feel the noize
Girls rock your boys
We'll get wild, wild, wild
Baby!
So you say I got a funny face
I got no worries
And I don't know why
I don't know why
Oh I gotta sing with some disgrace
I'm in no hurry
And I don't know why
I don't know why
Anymore
No no no
Cum on feel the noize
Girls rock your boys
We'll get wild, wild, wild
Wild, wild, wild
Cum on feel the noize
Girls rock your boys
We get wild, wild, wild
Baby
Come on!
Well you think we have a lazy time
You should know better
I don't know why
I don't know why
So you say I got a dirty mind
I'm a mean go getter
I don't know why
I don't know why
Anymore
Oh no
Cum on feel the noize
Girls rock your boys
We'll get wild, wild, wild
Wild, wild, wild
Cum on feel the noize
Girls rock your boys
We'll get wild, wild, wild
Baby!
Come on, (come on) feel it
Girls rock your boys (come on, rock it!)
We'll get wild, wild, wild
We're gonna get wild! (wild, wild, wild)
We're gonna get rocked tonight (cum on feel the noize)
Rock it tonight (girls rock your boys)
We'll get wild, wild, wild
OH YEAH!!
Ah, ah, ah (woooo)
Ah, ah, ah
Cum on feel the noize
Girls rock your boys
We'll get wild, wild, wild
Ah, ah, ah
Ah, ah, ah - เพลง
Shoulder ride guitar solo?
EPIC!!!
I just love how raw this is, Just 4 instruments nothing else.
I always think the same thing when I watch live shows at the first years of any band.
It is like raw meat in the butcher shop garbage pail.
You are just not bright.
Actually 3 w/a vocalist. I was there Memorial Weekend!! 😊😅
@@marshallrogers8011 Vocals count as an instrument
@@mbz25In that case, back vocals by the guitarist count as the 5th instrument
RIP Kevin and Randy always in our hearts
and Frankie :(
랜디가 이때도 있었나요?
Not Randy it’s Carlos and he’s still alive
@@cstickgamer6 that isn’t Randy in this video dumbshit
@@cstickgamer6 That's Carlos Cavazo. Randy was out of QR by September of 1979, and was with Ozzy from 79 to his death in 1982. He wasn't part of the mainstream success of Quiet Riot.
I was there, 19 yrs old...stayed all 3 days, remember bits and pieces,😁
Woah buy me a car
Kid named feel the noize:
I’ll do it
Oooof
He looks like randy Rhoads but he died in 82 not 83
oh nahhhh
RIP Frankie Banali. Frankie was one of the greatest heavy metal drummers. Live he always added that extra "something" that made each performance special. You could not take yours eyes off of him. He will be missed.
Rip randy Rhodes to
Always seemed like a committed son and a good human being.
Amd kevin
I was there - 14 years old and only paid $20 for a great day of rock and roll 🎸
I was there 2.I was 24 years old.$20 4 all those groups.🎸
I was there as well, 22 at the time.
I was working in the U.S. between 81 till 83 (Belgian).
@GeisnerdieWelt Awesome 🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽
@gideondingle9363 Rock and Roll !! 🤘🏼
@@gideondingle9363 what was your thoughts seeing rhandy?
LOL, love the fact that DuBrow lifts Cavazo onto his shoulders for the solo. Imagine an orchestra conductor doing the same thing to the first violin at a concert!
RIP Kevin, you rocked.
Ya murió?😢😢

Epic solo 👏 from Carlos cavazo
I was there 32 years ago today on Heavy Metal Sunday Memorial Day weekend @ The "US" Festival '83 :) Now I feel old lol. ROCK ON!!!!!!!
+MrMegaFredZeppelin I was there too!
Rock en roll never dies whatever your age
I feel young, thanks
A pesar del tiempo transcurrido es un privilegio escucharlos
I wish I can go in a time machine into the 80's and never come back...
In 40 years, you would have to come back.
... This song KICKED ASS!! it was all over the Radio back in 83' I was a little kid.... Kevin DuBrow had that party animal voice!!...R.I.P KEVIN \m/
It was better in 1973 when Noddy and Jim did it themselves, Slade were superb. But I am sure they cried all the way to the bank. The original single was produced by Chas Chandler, manager of Jimi and bassist for the Animals.
@marcusstreets6691 no shot. That's like saying Dylans watchtower was better than jimis. Slade were good song writers, but they were goofy nerdy Brits in the 70s. Quiet riot brought their songs a whole new life to a whole new generation and audience, in a COOL way, that has lasted 40 years. Ask any American kid about cum on feel the noize and they will say Quiet riot. Slade started with covers too, so there's that.
R.I.P Randy Rhoads and yes I know Carlos was guitarist at Quiet Riots commercial peak. That's when Rhoads joined Ozzy and then died in a plane crash. Poor guy had such fucking talent.
Oh the 80s, how I wish I could have enjoyed you
fuckin aye right. a great time to be a teenager
DandyD the best years
Was young but I lived it!!!
I was there but I was pretty young
RIP Kevin DuBrow and Frankie Banali 😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥
Saw them in '83 on tour w/Loverboy . Holy shit how time flies.
7mm08man not me school night
Imagine what they must be feeling right here. They played small clubs forever and suddenly an OCEAN of people. A year before this they couldn’t even figure out what band name to use. Search QR 1982, just one year earlier, and there is NOTHING on TH-cam.
God Bless Slade!!!!!
Flawless solo
Imagine having the 1st metal album ever to be #1 on the charts and play at the us festival.
Loved this group growing up. Metal health, great album used to drive my mother crazy cranking this tune before school every day. Have to give a shout out to Carlos Cavazo as one of the great underrated guitar players from the 80’s and an influence on my playing.
Randy rhoads was the best guitarist quiet riot ever had.
When you take off to a supposed better band the grass ain't always greener. So you think Rhodes was a better guitarist, he wasn't, not for this band. That's why he left. Karma's a bitch. Carlos is a much cleaner guitarist for Quiet Riot and co-wrote songs as well! 🤔 Slade deserves credit for this song they just couldn't get it right and that's what makes this version the very best. 👍🔥
Até hoje eu tenho esse vinil. Curto demais essa banda.
I was there, they were the first band to hit the stage that day! 🤘
One of the best R and R rhythm sections around!
Like they say if it ain't rock and roll it ain't music. These kids nowadays don't know what good music is. They listen to that thumpity thump bang-bang-bang stupid crap, that's not music. I'm 60 years old and I still bang my head to this day.
i was there. tried to find some weed. driving up there a dude held out a big bag. this is yours if'n u give me a ride. i said sure. he got in and some people jumped in the back. drove them up to the concert. the people in the back said hey we left u a bud. hadda lot of weed and just gave a few people a ride. by the way it was a great concert. wish we could have something like this again without worrying about getting shot.
The lead-guitarist is well talented, it sounds like heavy metal heaven Hail to the USA
i was there
saint John Apostle no u weren’t
Nice
We all were.
Me too. Saw Bruce Springsteen
Wow man!!!!
Kevin had a phenomenal singing voice. The way he screams when he sings is on par with that of Rob Halford. R.I.P.
Wind or Rain or Sunshine... Rudy Sarzo is one guy that will sound Rock Solid..
Glad I lived through it all...If you did, you know what I'm talking about..Southern California 80s decadence.....Fucking nothing like it...
1:50 Carlos is like: :Man, we're way too fast on this; SLOOOOOOOW DOWN BOYS!"
R.I.P. Frankie Banali. This was a awesome performance.
R.I.P. Kevin DuBrow
RIP Kevin n Frankie
Until we all meet in Heaven and you melt all our faces off again...
A friend of mine got tickets for US Fest and I didn't go . Looking at this footage reminds me I still regret not going . Plus how often do you see the lead singer carry the lead guitarist on his shoulders during the solo !!!
era una de las bandas mas hiteras del momento ¡ buenos tiempos !!!
Carlos had a great tone here!
Quiet Riot gave this song life! ⚡️ Awesome
Oh yeah 100%
I have a vauge memory slade mabye
Julie M You need to hear the original for a truly Awesome experience, you'll thank me xxx
They’re different. I don’t think either is better but I prefer the guitar in Slade’s version. There is a live version on TH-cam that is fast and has this level of energy.
Slade pisses all over this band. Even Oasis did a better version.
Chego até a arrepiar, som raiz ,cara que loucura
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 long life to rock and roll !!!!!
Felizes os que nasceram na década de 60 e puderam escutar o mais puro rock ad roll.
Rock In Peace Kevin and Frankie! ❤️🤘
Today Commemorates Kevin DuBrow's 60th Birthday
Slade song was written by Brits this band should write their own songs!
What a brilliant tribute to Slade - well don boyzs
rest in peace, randy. he was incredible guitarist. he living in our hearts forever.
Yeah, Randy Rhoads was a great guitarrist, but the one in this video was not Randy. It is Carlos Cavazo, who is still alive in 2021.
lord. this is every quiet riot live .
RIp Kevin, you will be missed!!
Kevin was such a great singer. Off tune at times... But he has a great tone, range and distortion to his voice. RIP
Michael Steiner so you think I’m singing out of time
It makes me money
It's rock n roll, not opera
It's live, not a cassette and lipsycing.
wooow what an amazing voice!!!
What a gem if an effing video!! Brought tears to my eyes. Videos like these are why TH-cam is so damn great! YYEEESSSS!!! I am so glad I ran into these!
Was there. First thing in the morning, waking up to this..!! Fantastic!!!
Saudades deste tempo.
I saw these guys at Great Woods in the Glam Slam Metal Jam in 2000 with Poison, Warrant, and Enoughz Enough. My ears are still ringing from that show. What a night.
This was the perfect beginning of hair band... Great cover song... great musicians ...at the right time
Una de las mejores agrupaciones de hesvy metal de todos los tiempod
GOD BLESS TO ROCK AND ROLL. ......una Banda Total de todo los TIEMPOS. ...
These guys blew Black Sabbath off the stage as openers for the Born Again tour. They had an encore as the opener.... the crowd was going crazy for EVERY song. I've been to a lot of concerts and have never seen anything like it.
Daaaaamn, he sounds fantastic here.
I remember hearing this as a kid, at 7 or 8, in the late 80s, and I was blown away. The drums at the start, the chorus, the instrumental break at 2:05
Algum brasileiro curtindo esse som em 2020???
Que público desanimado. No Brasil nunca aconteceria isso com uma música dessa.
Thanks to Shout Factory Tv,for Posting This Awesome Video

I knew I wasn't dreaming I saw them supporting Priest at Hammersmith. Twice.😊
Ruddy rocked!!!
RIP Heavy Hittin Frankie Banali....thx for rocking my life🤘🏽
That Angus/Bon guitarist on shoulders thing during the solo was cool
great concert.
Maravilloooso temaaazo.Inkreible Kelvin y Cavazo....mmmmmmmmmmm.....
Great!!! Saw Quiet Riot at the Starwood club in Hollywood and Kevin was incredible. Randy Rhoads was too so it was one of the few shows they played at the Starwood with Randy. They were not quiet by the way!
Kickass old-school rock band!
This Rocks!!
the washburn A10 Carlos is playing was my first guitar back in 1984. I still have it and this video is the only one I know of where a professional musician plays it
I was at the US festival, if memory serves me correct QR came on at 9-9:30 in the morning and rocked the place.... great memories... I think?
holy shit the athleticism! singing those notes after piggy backing your soloing guitar player? without passing out? legendary
The coke might have helped as well!
So gooooooood...thank you Quiet riot^!^
Does anyone remember when musicians had talent and didn't rely on computers to do the job for them? Even with tech malfunction they still play the song and put on a hell of a show doing it. R.I.P legends Randy and Kevin.
Amo muito Quiet Riot🤘🤘
Carlo is a legend!!!
I was 16.
What a great time for music.
The best band
2:30 hahahahha cord short during the solo. hehehhe Murphy's Law.
not that funny...
hilarious if you're a guitar player. Perfect Spinal Tap moment right there.
It is pretty funny because I'm a young fan of all these bands like Mötley Crüe,Quiet Riot,ACDC,And somewhat Led Zeppelin of course...
And I play a Fender Lone Star Strat...... This happened to Angus young from ACDC A lot of times.....
@@TruthSurge idk maybe he forget to turn it up to 11....
I like it. It's raw and honest. And I'm not even a QR fan. CC's guitar cut out and he still rolled with it. Those guys had it back then. I would have seen them if I could.
did anyone else notice the sound cutting out in cavazos solo
Andrew Arciszewski but the performance was perfect.
Vaya rola... Estos locos nos hacían felices!
il periodo più bello della mia vita...
A real good Slade - Cover 🤘
very good!!!
Saludos desde Lima Perú 😎

Carlos,rocks....great guitarist.
*BIGMOUTH* Connie loves this track
Long live quiet riot bang 🤘🤘🤘
I like Quiet Riot, Had an ex-roommate who told me about the time he was working out at a local gym and Kevin stopped by to work out too. I never knew after all of this time that Randy Rhodes was in/founded this band.
