- Quiet Riot performs "Slick Black Cadillac" Live at the US Festival. "Slick Black Cadillac" was first released on December 1978 on their second studio album "Quiet Riot II". This clip from the DVD and CD release of "Quiet Riot - Live At The US Festival" is available at: www.shoutfactory.com/?q=node/1...
Quiet Riot was founded in 1973 by guitarist Randy Rhoads and bassist Kelly Garni under the original name Mach 1, before changing the name to Little Women and finally Quiet Riot in May 1975. The band's name was inspired by a conversation with Rick Parfitt of the British band Status Quo, in which Parfitt said he'd like to name a band "Quite Right", and his thick English accent made it sound like he was saying "Quiet Riot".

Lyrics:
Ooooo, Just a big black set of wheels
Is what it takes to get me off
I'm gonna drive all night
Spin my wheels all night
It feels all right
It feels all right
I don't need no drivers license
I'm too reckless to survive
It's like a carburetor instigator
Feels all right
Feels all right
Drivin' in a Slick Black Cadillac
It's got solid gold hubcaps
It makes me feel like a king
I only need one thing
And that's a Slick Black Cadillac (get up)
You know I got a fully equipped rock 'n' roll machine
At speeds that take me high, high, high
At dead man's curve
I only hear one word drive, drive, drive
Drive, drive, drive
My machine is making headlines
It gives me love and everything
It's like an institution of revolution
It feels all right
Feels all right
Drivin' in a Slick Black Cadillac
It's got solid gold hubcaps
It makes me feel like a king
I only need one thing
And that's a Slick Black Cadillac (pull over, woooo)
I got the coppers on my tail
Just for me an A.P.B.
The sirens spinnin'
Though it's me who's winnin'
There're after me
There're after me
Before they know just what happened
I disappeared to their surprise
I got a Cadillac monkey on my back
And I don't mind
No, I don't mind
Drivin' in a Slick Black Cadillac
It's got solid gold hubcaps
It makes me feel like a king
I only need one thing
And that's a Slick Black Cadillac (hold on)
Slick Black Cadillac
It's got solid gold hubcaps
Slick Black Cadillac
I lay it down, spin wide and get laid in back, oh yeah
Drivin' in a Slick Black Cadillac
It makes me feel like a king, alright! - เพลง
RIP Frankie...thanks for the music. 🤘
Frankies love of his mother endeared me to him forever
RIP to Kevin too.
Rudy still rocking to this day! Just saw him with Stephen Pearcys Ratt in CT (20-JAN-24), talk about a legend.
Rest in peace Kevin. This song rocks
Yep!
Kevin and Randy
Gotta miss the 80s
RIP FRANKIE BANALI, NOW YOU'RE IN HEAVEN WITH KEVIN
With a lot of other musicians.
RIP Randy. I wish you could of been at this show
With Ozzy or QR?
Backtoshallabal it doesn't really matter which. Either, maybe somehow both.
Shure, it is Randy? Think inn 1983 it must have been Carlos. But no matter, wonderful music.
Rip Frankie Banali now too
That’s Carlos Cavaso not RR
Rest In Peace Kevin and Frankie!!.. Quiet Riot is not the same anymore without you two!!
I WAS THERE!!!
i was blown off my chair to hear this again. Remember this day like if it was yesterday.I had to hold my piss for an hour just to see them play, I wouldn't have minded to pee in my leather pants, I wasn't gonna miss this for anything in the world. Holy shit was fuckin awesome!!!!!!!!!!
Those were the days...
Thank you Steve Wozniak and Bill Graham for creating this giant music festival. Where are the billionaires of today? Why aren't they putting together huge concerts for the people to enjoy? Instead they horde their money and give it to politicians.
Usually I see people confuse "hoard" and "horde" the other way around. Thanks for giving me a novel experience.
Kevin Dubrow ROCKS!!!
RIP
Hard to believe this crowd are all in their sixties
Kevin and Randy Rhoads … 👍🏼👍🏼
Rudy walking that bass! Solid!
Devin Williams 0:49
so stoked I have the Metal Health Record! my favorite song on it
That's a great record, but have you ever heard the original version of this song on their album QR II?
Kevin Dubrow had a bad ass voice. Best song on the entire album.
Hell yeah, that because Randy Rhoads wrote it originally. Listen to his version it's even more badass!
There wasn’t a song funnier during this entire era than Slick!!!! Black!!!! Cad-i-lac!!!! Haha
I have a 2010 silver Cadillac. Now i wanna paint it black so I can honor Kevin.
Kevin Dubrow and Rudy Sarzo are awesome!
This describes my Hearse.

sup people
Thank you for sharing.
your welcome dude
Alt lyrics at 3:50 😂
ok
Kevin Dubrow is just as missed as Randy Rhodes is.
@rudysarzo
No comments about 3:56?!
hahahahaha
having fun
I like the STUDIO version WAY better.
Go listen to the studio version then.
yea black..chic..miami
Cavaza is an underrated player and he plays well within the group better than Randy kind of like Jabs fit the Scorpions better than Roth. I have 2 Washburn A-20's just like Carlos except both sunburst..killer guitars. Got to see the original group on the monsters of rock tour in 99 with Ted Nugent, Slaughter and Night Ranger and had front row seats. I still have the drum stick I caught from Slaughters drummer
This wasn't the "original" group. This is the classic Lineup aka the Metal Health Lineup 🤘🤘
A time when the rainbow wasn't about the alphabet people
This comment is insanely weird considering that Judas Priest played in this same festival and rob halford is gay.
@@thecollector4332 ain't that the truth lol
Carlos is not in the same universe as Randy. This song feels cold and stale without Randy. Drew and Kelly are missed as well.
Just got rid of my Cadillac, it wasn't slick though, just black, and the same day day I sold that car my new car got stolen, I'M RECKLESS, TOTALLY
I did not realize he was gay, guess I never knew about the whole rainbow gay thing as a kid.
this was WAY before the alphabet mafia took over the rainbow
@@BoredOuttaMySkullBoi so back then rainbow 🌈 was just cool not a gay thing
@@BoredOuttaMySkullBoi
“Alphabet mafia”
Lmao imagine being this pressed. Grow up.
They're terrible live.
Lets see what you bring to the table!
@@alanfrehley1373 I’m awesome live, ask your wife!
They’re really not.
Stay out of my yard though!!
