Check with a local Realtor® that is familiar with land sales to see what is available for purchase and provide guidance relative to your specific area. They may even have access to land that is not on the market. In what area are you looking?
Great video, does a land surveyor look for possible sink holes?I’m planning on buying here soon. Maybe a house or just a lot for now and build later. Ill be paying cash. I’m thinking northwest cape coral. I see lots of land for sale there. Thanks for your help.
Thanks! If a surveyor were to see a sinkhole I suspect they would note it. Surveyors spend much of their time marking a property’s boundaries. The best prevention against a sinkhole is to walk the property before purchasing and to have a feasibility study completed. If you need help finding property anywhere in Florida, please let me know. If I can't help, I can find you a local KW realtor that can.

I case i buy and hold. The insurance issues in FL and building materials cost are so expensive i would probably wait a bit to build. Sometimes there are time frames that you must build, but thats usually when there is a homeowners association. On land outside of an HOA there's more often no restrictions on when you must build.

Thanks for your question. 30 days for land is reasonable. Closing would depend on what type of financing, if any, and how much time the buyer needs once they've completed their due diligence.

Make your first priority on finding out what the local governments will allow you to do. Many of them restrict these types of homes.

If county take care of dirt can u finance land on a public dirt road and if so what type of loans
