  • Inle Lake is one of the most beautiful places to visit in all of Myanmar. To see it for ourselves, we biked to the edge of the lake then took a beautiful boat ride across the lake. After that, we bike up the other side of the lake and stop at a winery for lunch.
Thanks so much for watching! Don’t forget to like and subscribe :)

OMG, You guys missed the whole point and all of the amazing things to see on Inle lake! The remote markets in a different village each day, the guys rowing their boats with their legs while standing on the back, the old monastary on stilts in the water. You can check them all out on other vlogs. LOL.
A friendly tip, if you go all the way across the world, sometimes you just need to spend a couple more dollars to see the best tings that the country has to offer.

What about the endemic tropical fish species that are popular nano fish for aquariums? I'd say those are some of the most interesting things about the lake.

This Channel was great for me. Got to completely re-live the holiday my family and I went on in 2018. You guys went to Exactly the same places! Inle was particularly special to me because my mother who was born in Yangon would find it to be her favourite place to visit. The thing that impresses me the most is that you guys always travel the hardcore way like I do (riding on bikes, etc) very impressed. Soo weird because have spent a lot of time in HCMC as well. love you guys :)

We got lucky with the time of year and it was perfect. You did pick the peak burning time. It's the same all over SE Asia. We went down to the lake and haggled a boat for the day for $15. We stayed there for 3 days and also biked around an the sun was really hot.

heyyy!! im originally from Myanmar and 15,000 is the average rate for boat rides in Inle. If you ride from the boat dock, they'll take you to about 3 destinations like pagodas and floating markets. You guys rode from a village so that probably why you didn't get to see and visit certain places. Some places you should visit (once COVID is over) are Ngapali Beach (A MUST. it has the clearest water), and Kyaiktiyo Pagoda (aka The Golden Rock).

the fires are control burning of crops. The shan state is where alot of the vegetables are grown for the entire country and during that season they burn the crops to make the soil more fertile and make way for new cycle of farming

Hate to see Americans trying to get “the best deal.” U2 are well off or you wouldn’t be traveling. Quit trying to nickel and dime your way across the world. If you pay more than a native would, so what. Be extra generous and you will be extra blessed. Having said that I do enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work. But a little less whining would help.
