Great little doc! Loved learning about the fisherman. That leg paddling is quite amazing.

Thanks, Greg! Yeah, it takes an incredible amount of skill and strength to paddle like that. It was amazing to see.

Visited Mynmar in 2018. Inle lake was a location I saw. Beautiful place. Saw real fisherman and some staged fisherman for tourists. Either way, very interesting

I was bourn there and lived there over 30 years. I left her over a decade ago. I’ve been Kyite Htee Yoe Pagoda, Inlay Lake a few times but I didn’t learn as much as you did. I like the way you guys travel around there. Short scene but really really GREAT.
I love watching this and other scenes about my country and finally big thank you guys for reminding me of my trips to those places 🙂👍

Via our accommodation in Nyaungshwe notesofnomads.com/MotelAlbum (affiliate link). We highly recommend it as a place to stay in general around Inle Lake. You can see footage of it in this video, along with the other places we stayed at in Myanmar: th-cam.com/video/BscL4NU-GK8/w-d-xo.html

Did you enjoy fish for your meal while you were there? I suggest not to eat fish. Some of those fish eat human dead body. Cuz inthar (people from inlay lake) traditionally bury the body in the lake or their ash in the lake. In fact, my grandpa’s ash is in the middle of the lake.
