I will admit the camera work was a bit off, HOWEVER, I was able to see enough and hear enough to change out my timer right by myself!! No other video I've seen explained how to release the knob except for spinning it backwards and that was obviously NOT working on my model. Showing me how to pull the little black tab on the back of the timer did the trick. I'm a 57 year old grandmother and I was able to watch the video and do the repair myself!! And...I just finished a load of laundry and it cycled through beautifully...I'm feeling rather accomplished right now!!😁👍🏻Thanks so much Rick and Yonny for the video!!!
Good job! Need a new camera women, but it was self explainitory. Not even the local parts dept could tell me another way of removing it other than UNSCREWING THE KNOB. "YOURS MUST BE GLUED ON" !! Im glad i kept searching TH-cam!!
I used your advice and I just want to say that some people do you have the model where the knob screws off like me!!! And I thank you!! this girl fixed it!!!💋💜
Loved it man! Many thanks for the heads up on getting that center push pull knob out. I just got a new timer in the mail today to replace on this great old washing machine, that was not going in to spin cycle properly anymore. And thanks to your wonderful awesome gracious neighbor for assisting with the camera.
Aww she so sweet with her cute ol self 😂😂😂 she tried her best your video isn’t ruined she was to cute and she was so fascinated 🥰 love her bless her heart ❤️ and thanks it worked like a charm 👍👍👍👍
Thank you for the kind words my brother. It was fun filming this w my neighbor Yonny. That reminds me, its trash day tomorrow so I need to take out her trash along w my own.
Those tabs on the timer don't need to be bent or popped with a screw driver. Simply remove the screw that secures the timer in place (if your model has one) then slide the whole timing unit to the left or to the right and it will pull out. Good luck!
I recommend finding a used appliance seller where you live and seeing if they will part with the timer. If they are sitting on junked washers w bad motors or burnt wiring harnesses, etc. then they will welcome parting out the washer. Thats what I did. I purchased a used timer from a nearly scrapped machine on Craigslist for $15.
I'm sorry I'm trying to wash the video and how to replace the timer. I don't need to see you talking to who or what that was and just get to the point I want to know how to get to a fast and easy not some drawn out five hours to do

I hope nani the neighbor is in all of your videos. Excellent work. Thanks, still helping people out over a decade later.
Home Run Pal! Thanks, just saved us $175, I have the new timer in hand!
How did you determine that it was the timer that was defective?
-Thank you for posting this video. It help greatly!
Did you need to replace the timer? I was wondering if just the teeth on the knob were stripped.
Thank you for sharing.
Most of this video isn't aiming directly of what is being explained
Thanks so much for this, very helpful!

Great video. Skip the rest... Start here.
The knob wont stay in I looked at the back clip that you have to pull and it aint there. Do i have to buy the whole timer piece?
She gave me enough information I know what is going on now my question is where do you find this part that doesn’t cost you over $100 for, eBay?

Excellent video. Thank you.
My hero thanks
I cant see what I really wants, to see how to remove the knobs
Hi nice explanations but the camera person should also see the screen also so he/ she knows what is being shot.
That’s a great recommendation!
I LIKE Y'ALLS STYLE. SUBSCRIBING
Can’t see the most important part
Get a tripod.
Yanny has a bad aim at times
😂yep

Is this a troll? I feel like I just got trolled.
Camera is off
Nice Camera Job, She’s Looking with her Eyes So Everything is Cut Short or Off..(most everything) no offense..😀
Worst filming ever…!😂
She didn’t aim the camera correctly. Oy vay. Ruined the video
This was a fail. Thanks for trying but next time don’t use nana as your camera person.
Bad filming
Bad mistake on putting her up to that recording. She ruined it
Thanks for nothing. Camera lady 🤦🏼
I couldn't see half the video because the old lady, no help.
Your camera person was not good
That was of no use to anybody.
Useless.
