I use these methods already, thanks for the reminder. I used to buy impulsively in yrs past, still do some, but when I set my budget and stick to it strictly I succeed. Though it can be incredibly difficult when theirs so many shiny things! 😄😄

mine isnt TOO bad. im actually rather frugal as a trauma response from losing so many storage units or stuff from moving over the years, i actually have downsized a lot of what i own despite how much i spend. i always put 3/4ths of my check in savings so that i can pay my rent at the end of the month, and my meals are prepped a week ahead, leaving the rest for saving or spending, problem is that if i see a game on sale that ive wanted, why wait for it to be full price? or if i know i can get somethign cheaper on amazon, i will buy more than just one thing so i can get free shipping and cross a few things off my built up list. funny enough though, a lot of the list items actually do help me downsize my stuff, like more compact storage stuff or replacements for my more used items. im actually really stable financially, i just cant seem to save because.. well what am i saving for? capitalism wont let me save for a house unless im a capitalist. i dont regret any of my purchases, and my quality of life normally goes up for them, but at the cost of savings.
