He (Grant) is absolutely right about the Chinese and most East Asians developing personal relationships when it comes to doing business. I’m from Singapore (76% ethnic Chinese) and I can say that like the mainland Chinese, developing personal relationships with sincerity is part of our business DNA. American politics with regards to foreign policy, especially with China, is a disaster. Both the Right And Left have failed miserable. Please pronounce his surname correctly, it is not "chi" you should pronounce as "si" to show your respect to someone. I won't pronounce your name Aaalon Buteze. Secondly it is kind of disturbing to come to think about China giving business to Americans, Americans pay taxes to USA government to bash China with lies, blasphemy, fake news etc. Look at Australia, China resume trade to allow Australian products to enter China market and they are having huge sales order then Australia sent their warship to South China Sea to create problem and backing the former USA colony and Vietnam to create troubles......
Is this the right things? What are these people / voters thinking? "Hey I want you money, they I pay my thug head to bash you and cause all kind of trouble AND you continue to give me business, I will continue to support my thug leader to do whatever he wants to hurt you, suppress you and do whatever you don't like even to the extend that it will hurt your ability to buy from me BUT you must continue to buy from me and buy more from time to time without fails.
Can anyone understand this logic? Or because Americans have no choice in actual fact, you can only choose the bad of the worst but what was planted in your brain is that you have all the freedom and option BUT actually none

Every country that doesn't toe the US line is an "enemy". The US has 4.2% of the world's population but the crazy doctrine of Exceptionalism and Manifest Destiny has Americans convinced that they have the right, nay, the obligation to tell the rest of us what sort of system we should have and who we can trade with etc.
Fishes to the east and west, Canada to the north, and poor little Mexico to the south, but the terribly insecure US needs 800+ military bases around the world to "protect" itself from all its "enemies". Meanwhile, your infrastructure crumbles, your cities crumble, your education and healthcare suck, but you have a magnificent weapons manufacturing industry.
