Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture. With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

How proud was Granpa with his grandchildren working in the same field as him. That was pretty awesome to watch.
Can we make this top comment instead of that mindless 5 year old saying I like my own comment please. This has much more thought behind it.
@@jaimerthegamer7549five year olds are not known for their brilliant and deep minds but yes I agree this comment has much more substance
agree... its truly amazing to watch 3 generations working together to keep their family life together and running.... great comment and love this channel.
A Lesson from Mary
Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful.
-1 Corinthians 1:27
There are a lot of misperceptions about Mary. On one hand, people place her on a pedestal. And on the other hand, she is ignored and misunderstood. But Mary was a godly person living in a godless place.
And she showed us that it’s possible for someone to live a godly life even while living in the midst of an ungodly environment. Mary lived in Nazareth, which, for the most part, was not a popular destination.
God could have chosen someone from Rome to bear the Messiah. After all, Rome was ruling most of the world at that time. God could have chosen someone from Jerusalem, the spiritual capital of the world. Or, God could have chosen someone from Athens, the intellectual and cultural capital of the world.
But God didn’t choose someone from any of these places. Instead, He chose a young woman who was living in Nazareth.
Roman soldiers overran Nazareth, an obscure place known for its wickedness. That is why Nathanael, when he heard that Jesus was from Nazareth, said, “Can anything good come from Nazareth?” (John 1:46).
Yet God chose Mary and this obscure place to accomplish His purpose. He chose an unknown teenager living in an unknown place to bring about the most known event in human history: the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.
It seems that God goes out of His way to choose the most unexpected people to accomplish His plans. The Bible is filled with examples of the most ordinary individuals being chosen by God to do the most extraordinary things.
Mary was genuinely humble. She was surprised when the angel Gabriel appeared to her and said, “Don’t be afraid, Mary, . . . for you have found favor with God! You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus. He will be very great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David” (Luke 1:30-32)
When we think of certain men and women of the Bible, we see them in their greatness because of what God did. But remember, when God called David, he was a shepherd boy whose father didn’t even acknowledge him. Yet God instructed the prophet Samuel to anoint David as the next king of Israel.
When God chose Gideon, he was hiding from his enemies. And when God called Simon Peter, he was out catching fish. But the Lord raised him up to be one of the great apostles. And God chose Mary to bring about the arrival of the Messiah.
The apostle Paul wrote, “Remember, dear brothers and sisters, that few of you were wise in the world’s eyes or powerful or wealthy when God called you. Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful” (1 Corinthians 1:26-27)
Little Miss Johnson has the eye roll like her mother, with the lingo and sense of humor from her father. She apparently listens to her dad often. Fun years to come!
yes, well said, and similar to what my comment was going to be. Have a nice weekend.
Do you ever get any pheasants in the cornfields? 11:37
I'm waiting for when the girls start dating. Can you imagine what dad is going to go through on their first dates? lol
"I never lost it." Awesome smart young lady.
Becky always has some humor. She is awesome. :)
The actors who play the parents on the Millennial Farmer TH-cam channel should be so proud of their acting children! 😅💜💜💜
Dad humor ................... always a winner .........👍
Every time!
I have two daughters who also underappreciate my amazingly hilarious sense of humor. It might be time for a support group.

I loved it when Zach asked his daughter if she liked his humor. Classic parent/child response and actor Zach got the facial expressions perfectly.

Why would they not let them mow the lawn?
@@AgriLifeIreland Number 1 reason, too dangerous, they might cut off a hand or a foot and grandma or their best friend or some freak on CNN or MSNBC says it it too dangerous. Reason number 2, they are scheduled for so many activities ranging from soccer to after school tutoring to piano lessons, that the kid doesn't get home until after dark after getting fed dinner at one of 2 dozen fast food restaurants on the way home. Starting at the age of 10 or 11 people are already thinking about their kids "college resume". Things people start worrying about having for the college resume includes: the millions of activities the kid was involved in, what classes you took, your GPA, all your test scores, and all the volunteering you have done. The volunteering situation is a racket. You can "win" awards based upon the number of hours you volunteer. And by the way, 99% of the time, the kid needs to be with a parent when you volunteer so they get free labor from 2 people.

@12:03 and this is why people should have kids. They get the work done you don’t want to do. I probably shouldn’t say this because I’m 14 but I think this is a valid reason why people have kids because my dad sends me out to mow grass and move snow

My heart and soul wishes it was with them ,doing all the work as well😭❤...🇿🇦🇿🇦

I was thinking the very same thing …
I wonder if a small snowblower might work to clean out around the blower. The only real issue would be under it.
So happy to see 3 generations in the same field
That side eye cracks me up. 😂🤣
Zach your daughter is adorable and has really grown up. All the kids are growing like a weed. Another great year of harvest has came n gone
Got to love the big Green tractors. Three generations working together is priceless. You are so blessed.
I can’t wait to hear “Mornin Jim.”

how complexly cool is it that the grand kids are running the equipment? just taken back by how well and responsible they are becoming. so great.
I'm thinking Rhiannon has Jedi powers. You don't need to tell her what to do. She already knows.
Congratulations on finishing harvest.

Your Daughter is awesome, Great job helping Dad,,,,,,
It’s great that your kids are out there helping you and your dad. It has to be an incredibly uplifting moment for you to see their involvement make a difference. Aside from the crop, that has to be your best reward for this season.
I love your daughter's dry sense of humor. Stay safe ok ?
Good to hear your Daughter say she might want to do tillage cause might is not a No love seeing the youth on your farm helping out
Such a great moment... everyone has to be PROUD... my goodness she is such a pleasant girl... All of you ae so blessed to have each other... and not just to help with harvest LOL
by far the best video on this channel.
Yall have become my favorite channel on here (outside of a few gaming channels) and seeing 3 different generations of the Johnson family together during a harvest is amazing. I hope for many many more years of success for your family. Thank you all for bringing us joy. It’s been fun watching the channel grow over the years, all of the hardships, all of the scares, all of the humor, and most important the sense of family and love.
Love watching the kids work and we need to see the real millennial farmer
Way.better than a Ford 8N & a 3 row corn picker that I started out with in the 60s 😂
Yall are awsome and amazing. Miss the older videos where you would have music and break out singing while in the tractor.
Another great family farming video. Thanks. I have to say , Catdog is missed. LOL Have a great weekend Johnson Family.
Working with your daughter. How cool is that
6:24 was my favorite part she's like come on

Wonderful Video thank you and your family for the wonderful video. 😊😊
Your daughter adores you but at the same time, at that age, she "puts up with you". The good news is that is only lasts another 10 years. LOL. It is good to see the family working together.

I know you and your dad are proud to have the next generation working the farm.
Ok dad your girls got this, time to let her and grandpa have it.
👏👏👏Corn Done 😊Thanks (N.G Indiana)
Proud moment having 3 generations in the fields together
Farming is excellent!! She's very sweet, As she spends her time with his father. Congratulations!
Speaking of wildlife a few days ago I had to stop going down a road for a flock of 35-40 plus turkey’s south of Stillwater.
Have you ever had someone come out and verify that all that red and brown stuff you shovel out from under the grain bins is actually good for crop yield? 😃👍👍
Might be handy to have an old manure spreader to get rid of your corn dust, less trips out to the field
Well done. 2023 is i t6he books!!!
Oh they grow up so fast! I wonder when we will see isla in the fields!
That daughter of yours is getting quite cheeky and those eyes and that sideways look that she has. Your kids are growing up fast and it is great to see them helping out on the farm. A real credit to their parents.
This is awesome had similar experiences as well as a kid in North Dakota Midwest farming all the way baby
Gosh this just makes me so happy watching these kids out there doing the work. I started at 7. I'm your age now Zach. It makes such a big difference with more help. Being spread thin all the time gets old.
Don't know if it's possible, but if you put thick rubber mats with chains on underneath the dryer, you can pull them out, flip them on a good spot and scoop stuff up with the skidsteer. Saves you probably a day of shoveling
Three generations working in the same field. Really pleased to see your corn harvest finished; great stuff. From the U.K.
Drive past that field on the county highway all the time. Was nice to have it open again this fall and not looking forward to it be closed down again next spring.
Good show
In the home I grew up was a black and white picture of my eight year old dad tied to a Steel wheel tractor so he wouldn’t fall off from the early 1940,s
Funny you had her call him Bandit, I failed as a father, I discovered this past week. My two youngest kids (19 & 20) just watched Smokey and the Bandit this weekend 🤦🏼♂️
I wonder who is most proud, grandpa in the combine, or the father in the body seat
No hunting until you finish your tillage! Lol.
Saludos desde Uruguay 🇺🇾🇺🇾muy lindo contenido
Thanks for the video!
Nice fittin in the Mounds/Almond Joy reference.
For the dryer cleanup; look up TRAC VAC
Zach, your daughter's cool confidence is admirable and she seems to be getting more comfortable with the camera. Onyx is a blast to watch too, he's finding his voice on video's too. I look forward to every video, your entire family and crew working as a close team. Can't wait to see your kids on tillage.
Awesome to see your kids working side-by-side with you and your Dad. As a father of two successful daughters, I know how proud you are of your children. Wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year!
Thank Ya'll for not giving up with such a hard year with the corn, us Americans depend on Ya'll.
Work with my Dad was done before leaving the job. Up and ready to go with my Dad. Different time period.
