He literally misrepresented Islam or sufism by saying that creations are part of God or anyway divine. This is pantheism, to me it's nothing but polytheism. Quran condemns it as an unforgivable sins. I can make up my own philosophy but that doesn't make it Islam or scriptural. Don't get fooled by that definition.

      🌹🤲🌷 Quran17 🌴🌻🌷
Verily, this Qur'ân guides to that which is most just and right and gives glad tidings to the believers who work deeds of righteousness, that they shall have a great reward (Paradise). (9) And that those who believe not in the Hereafter, for them We (God) have prepared a painful torment (Hell). (10) And man invokes (God/Allâh/Yahweh) for evil as he invokes (Him) for good . And man is ever hasty [i.e., for example if he is angry with his son , he invokes (saying): "That God curses you" ] (11) And We have appointed the night and the day as two signs. Then, We have obliterated the sign of the night while We have made the sign of the day illuminating, that you may seek bounty from your Lord, and that you may know the number of the years and the reckoning. And We have explained everything (in detail) with full explanation. (12) And We have fastened every man's deeds to his neck. And on the Day of Resurrection, We shall bring out for him a book which he will find wide open. (13) (It will be said to him): "Read your book. You yourself are sufficient as a reckoner against you this Day." (14) Whoever goes right, then he goes right only for the benefit of his ownself. And whoever goes astray, then he goes astray to his own loss. No one laden with burdens can bear another's burden. And We never punish until We have sent a Messenger (to give warning). (15) And when We decide to destroy a town (population), We (first) send a definite order (to obey Allâh/God/Yahweh and be righteous) to those among them who lead a life of luxury. Then, they transgress therein, and thus the word (of torment) is justified against it (them). Then We destroy it with complete destruction (16) And how many generations have We destroyed after Noah! And Sufficient is your Lord as an All-Knower and All-Beholder of the sins of His servants. (17) Whoever desires the quick-passing (transitory enjoyment of this world), We readily grant him what We will for whom We like. Then, afterwards, We have appointed for him Hell, he will burn therein disgraced and rejected, (18) And whoever desires the Hereafter and strives for it, with the necessary effort due for it (i.e. righteous deeds ) while he is a believer , then such are the ones whose striving shall be appreciated, (thanked and rewarded by Allâh/God/Yahweh). (19) On - each these as well as those - We bestow from the Bounties of your Lord. And the Bounties of your Lord can never be forbidden. (20) See how We prefer one above another (in this world) and verily, the Hereafter will be greater in degrees and greater in preference (21) Set not up with Allâh/Yahweh/God any other god, (O man)! , or you will sit down reproved, forsaken (in the Hell-fire). (22) And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honour. (23) And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: "My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was young." (24) Your Lord knows best what is in your inner-selves. If you are righteous, then, verily, He is Ever Most Forgiving to those who turn unto Him again and again in obedience, and in repentance. (25) And give to the kinsman his due and to the poor and to the wayfarer. But spend not wastefully (your wealth) in the manner of a spendthrift . (26) Verily, spendthrifts are brothers of the devils , and the Devil (Satan) is ever ungrateful to his Lord. (27) And if you turn away from them (kindred, poor, wayfarer, whom We have ordered you to give their rights, but if you have no money at the time they ask you for it) and you are awaiting a mercy from your Lord for which you hope, then, speak unto them a soft, kind word . (28) And let not your hand be tied (like a miser) to your neck, nor stretch it forth to its utmost reach (like a spendthrift), so that you become blameworthy and in severe poverty. (29) Truly, your Lord enlarges the provision for whom He wills and straitens (for whom He wills). Verily, He is Ever All-Knower, All-Seer of His slaves. (30) And kill not your children for fear of poverty. We shall provide for them as well as for you. Surely, the killing of them is a great sin. (31) And come not near to the unlawful sexual intercourse. Verily, it is an immoral sin, and an evil way . (32) And do not kill anyone whose killing Allâh/God has forbidden, except for a just cause. And whoever is killed wrongfully , We have given his heir the authority [(to demand Law of Equality in punishment- or to forgive, or to take blood - money)]. But let him not exceed limits in the matter of taking life (i.e he should not kill except the killer). Verily, he is helped (by the divine law) (33) And come not near to the orphan's property except to improve it, until he attains the age of full strength. And fulfil (every) covenant. Verily! the covenant, will be questioned about. (34) And give full measure when you measure, and weigh with a balance that is straight. That is good (advantageous) and better in the end. (35) And follow not (O man i.e., say not, or do not or witness not) that of which you have no knowledge. Verily! The hearing, and the sight, and the heart, of each of those one will be questioned (by Allâh/Yahweh). (36) And walk not on the earth with conceit and arrogance. Verily, you can neither rend nor penetrate the earth, nor can you attain a stature like the mountains in height. (37) All the bad aspects of these (the above mentioned things) are hateful to your Lord. (38) This is (part) of wisdom which your Lord has revealed to you (O Muhammad ). And set not up with Allâh/God/yahweh any other god lest you should be thrown into Hell, blameworthy and rejected, (from God's Mercy). (39)
Has then your Lord (O pagans) preferred for you sons, and taken for Himself from among the angels daughters? Verily! You indeed utter an awful saying. (40) And surely, We have explained [Our Promises, Warnings and (set forth many) examples] in this Qur'ân that they (the disbelievers) may take heed, but it increases them in naught save aversion. (41) Say (O Muhammad to polytheists, pagans): "If there had been other gods along with Him (God) as they assert, then they would certainly have sought out a way to the Lord of the Throne (seeking His Pleasures and to be near to Him). (42) Glorified and High is He! From High above (the great falsehood) that they say! . (43) The seven heavens and the earth and all that is therein, glorify Him and there is not a thing but glorifies His Praise. But you understand not their glorification. Truly, He is Ever Forbearing, Oft-Forgiving. (44)

Loved this conversation. Gave me new perspectives on faith. However, God is not created by the human mind, or at least in Islam. The creator is far beyond our imagination. (Human characteristics are used to better understand God sometimes, such as describing God's "compassion" which is seen as a human trait). Also, I disagree here: the creator and creation are completely different. Common sense-wise, the creation can not be seen as the creator even if it induces "spirituality" in a person... unless I am not understanding the "metaphor." And montheism existed since the beginning; polythiesm came after it. Anyways it is very true that religion plays a dominant role in forming a person's identity (unfortunately) and is less about the faith and practice.

You start by stating : The problem...
For a start, why is this a problem - you do not make clear!
Secondly, you make general statements you neither verify, nor make any clear with any biblical support evidence. Thus you leave your answers in the realm of many oriental mystical religions.
Yeshua never ducked an honest question, and always gave very clear answers that left no room for doubt. You need to remember this when providing answers. If your answers leaves confusion instead of addressing the question - then that is no meaningful answer.
Yeshua gave a clear indication of who God is - especially in the conversation with the Woman at the Jacob's well. God is spirit and shall be worshipped as such. it is also clear in the conversation - that the physical world has parallel with the spiritual world - have some one with biblical authority explain the entire conversation to you - and you'll see clear threads of this....
Yeshua did not leave us guessing. Rather he left us with this immense HOPE for his return - an end to all evil and all manner of deceptions, the end of pain, the beginning of eternity! Now we are living in the preparation of that promise, just as the bride waits for the groom to arrive.

Radar, what you are asking in effect is to be free to do whatever you desire - without ever being judged - ie facing any consequences. This ideology has existed in the past and leads to ruin!!!!
Behaviour without constraints has anarchy as the end result, if you care to study History! After all, who determines where the line of enough lies - what is Ok for one is not enough for another - so where do you draw the line - without refrain.

Come on, Reza. You forgot Roman pantheism, the original institutional pantheism, the notion that all gods were the same gods manifesting in different forms to different peoples. The way Caesar describes the gaelic gods as "the same Roman gods with a twist" is radically different from the way Herodotus describes oriental gods. And the greatest heresy of judaism was disregarding all gods but one, and in doing so simultaneously disrespecting and inviting the wrath of all other gods and their followers.

How come don't you believe in reward for you good deed while your books are not free? That is even more ridiculous that you expect reward (money....) from a human being who is your kind and equal to you, but it depresses you doing good for reward. At least my good deeds will not cost anyone anything. Its for free, but for sure I do it for my Creator and i expect reward for. and i expect punishment for who are in power and do injustice! Of course `Moses` did not exist. It is well known, that the Old Testament was written down by 72 Rabbis
in Alexandria, Egypt, starting at 250 B.C. (In Greek named the Septuagint.) At that time, those Greek
Ptolomaens were those Pharaos in Egypt, as well importing their own Greek divinities, alike those female
"Muses". A Muse (alias this `Moses`) is named "Musah" in the Koran, and written M-SH-H in Hebrew:
Vocalised since as "MaSHiaH" or "MoiSHeH" or etc., and in Christianity translated as "Messias".
Of course, each Hebrew word ending with "H" always is of feminine gender, just alike Y-H-V-H, this Jewish
Lord God. Besides, those Muses (or only this divine Muse of literature and poetry) were this biblical story-
reason, that Moses had "difficulties speaking" , and that his brother Aaron did talk for him.

This is a superb book! Reveals Dr Reza's evolution from one religion to another and finally to atheism. But one serious issue is that he does not understand one crucial thing: Jesus was a mythical being and never was a historical one.
And also, Hinduism is the OLDEST of religions still being practiced; he explored virtually nothing about Hinduism. A "history of religion " with NO exploration of Hinduism?

So, where does all this hate come from??.... it's just because he comes from Muslim background Nd doesn't fit the prototype of a person of that identity u ppl want to portray.

How in 2018 any one can actually believe there were ancient celestial gods astounds me. To believe in a god is to lie to one’s self, it’s a prerequisite. One must suspend critical thought to embrace any of the gods. What a awful impediment to the advancement of our species. Every second spent in ‘prayer’ or ‘with god’ is another second lost you could actually be furthering yourself and your fellow man. God is a myth and religion is fascism in its purest form. Fooling yourself into a god belief is the saddest fool of all. I’d rather ask questions I can’t answer than then have fake answers you can’t question.

    • @msg4deworld
      @msg4deworld 5 ปีที่แล้ว

Steve, you are similar to many cynical, skeptical critics that have lived before you. Jesus met many like you - and arrested their doubts - the story of doubting Thomas is one you should clearly read and see if it helps you identify a similarity with your position.
Evidence of God is very clear in things we see - that seeking answers for them alone is convincing enough...
You simply are not convinced, not for lack of evidence - as no amount of evidence will ever convince you - until you are dead and are brought before God....
Strange, that you may have no difficulty believing in 'Science', but are never courageous enough to go a step further and ask yourself: How do you account for the 'laws of science' that you take for granted!
You expect them to provide order, and answers for whatever evidence it stumbles on, yet not once have you ever asked yourself who is responsible for the framework that you call 'science laws' - that provide you the logical explanations.
If you are a critical thinker, as you so claim, then you should be able to evaluate historical accounts of events past that relate to Yeshua - for even those that had no interest in Yeshua's existence recorded accounts of his life. That alone should raise questions to a critical thinker, to seek answers....
      Have a blessed day fellow.

& salt water in the seas so that each water keeps its
      characteristics & species:
''He has set free the two seas meeting together. There is a barrier
between them. They do not transgress (each other).'' (Quran, 55:19-20)
      ''He
is the one who has set free the two kinds of water, one sweet and
palatable, and the other salty and bitter. And He has made between them a
barrier and a forbidding partition.'' (Quran, 25:53)

THE MIRACLE OF IRON IN THE QURAN:
IRON has meteoric origin in our solar system(sent down to Earth &
sunk to the core):'And We sent down iron, in which is great power, and
many benefits for humanity,...'(Quran, chapter Iron 57:25)
This miracle exists in Quran's copies which consider 'Basmalah' as the
1st verse (Basmala is the sentence 'In the name of God,the mercifull' at
      the head of each chapter).
Thus, the verse 25 becomes 26(Iron's Atomic number). The number of verses
      29 becomes 30(iron's neutrons).Chapter 57 is the core of the Quran(114
chapters). 57 is a stable isotope of iron . Iron has the second most
      tightly bound nuclei(Nuclear binding energy).
      4-
      THE FINGERPRINTS :
In The following verses God mentions his ability (in judgement day) to
recreate not only the bones/skeleton after decomposition in the grave,
but more difficult than that : the tips of fingers (this refers to the
complexity of each paerson's fingerprints) :
75:3 - Does man (a disbeliever) thinks that We shall not assemble his
      bones (in the hereafter)?
75:4 - Nay, We are Able to put together in perfect order the tips of his
      fingers.

      Quran, 21:104
"The Day that We roll up the heavens like a scroll rolled up for books
,- even as We produced the first creation, so We will also reproduce it :
a promise We have undertaken: truly shall We fulfill it.
      39:67

entirely will be [within] His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the
heavens will be folded in His right hand. Exalted is He and high above
      what they associate with Him.
      14:48
[It will be] on the Day the earth will be replaced by another earth,

from a zygote , then from an Blastocyst/adherent , then
from a disc which is differentiated and not differentiated...
ABIOGENESIS (beginning of life) IN CLAY AND EVOLUTION (of man) FROM ANOTHER SPECIES :
Q23:12 And indeed We created man out of a species/progeny/life form which originated from
clay. (12) Thereafter We made him into a Zygote in a welcoming stable
lodging (endometrium). (13) Then We made the zygote into a Blastocyst/adherent , then We made
the Blastocyst/adherent into a disc , then We made out of the disc bones (notochord),

Christ was welcomed with open arms by the poor and the Laboring class, those who own just enough to stay alive which meant that they owned no wealth. For to be a Christian one must be a pacifist to the point that you, "Do not use force to overcome evil." Which makes it impossible to own wealth, because the only way to protect wealth is by force and violence. Which is why for over 400 years all the early Christians never used force or violence and dedicated all their time and wealth to helping the poor.
Therefore, as most professed Christians are neither pacifist or poor, as Romans 8:29 states that only by a miracle of God can you have the conviction to be both pacifist and poor, planet earth was created to reach the ultimate conclusion of the force, violence and glory of wealth.

Christianity says what? "Imagine the most perfect human being... that s God"? This man has lost all credibility from where I stand. Did he really study religion or is he just a fake? Or is he just making things up and has some weird agenda? Dubious man...

    • @paulcarrola

Alex Panea - I’ve personally never understood Christianity’s description of God. Is it a supernatural being? The father of a supernatural being? Does it have human characteristics such as gender, emotions (i.e., love, vengeance, etc...), and an ability for us to communicate with it?

    • @AlexPanea
      @AlexPanea 6 ปีที่แล้ว

Hi Paul, I am no priest or theologian, but I do all my research to ensure that my time spent at church isn't a waste. So I only speak out of my personal experience. I am a finite mortal being trying to understand myself and a world, non of which I have created. The Christian view is not man trying to describe God, but rather man, documenting the way God has revieled Himself to him. And if one accepts the existence of an absolute supernatural being which is the cause of everything that existst and is infinite in His nature, it would be logical for Him to have to reveal Himself to man and not jst sit and wait for man to discover Him. So point for Christianity on this one.
Now to try to answere your question. In Christianity it is documented, that God created everything that exists and made man in His own image. So it is humans who have Godly characteristics, and not the other way around. Man also has free will and so is not forced to live by Godly standards. The Bibel says God created man out of love. But He doesn't just have the feeling of love, He is Love. So love comes from him and is also a characteristic of humans. But again humans are free, the can act out of a devine space within them or can just be selfish... that is what I understand as freedom. The interaction of God with man is hard to describe, but I do get it in somw way. I think He raised us like a big family, he wants us to seek Him but also for us to work together. I am sure He interacts with us in subtil ways. Some who have dedicated their lives to seeking Him surly get more derict proof and involvement from God. Christianity calls our communication to God Prayer. I gues all people do it in some way. I look at it as I look at Musik and singing. Every person hums and wistles now and then, but some people constantly go to karaoke, and others are real profesional musicians.
I hope what I have written is of some use for you, All the best!

Alex Panea Yes! Don’t you get it? The perfect human being being Jesus. He certainly is the center of Christianity.

    • @AlexPanea
      @AlexPanea 5 ปีที่แล้ว

Deborah Hoffman, yes Jesus is certainly, fully God and fully Human. And he is the path, but of the people who saw him alive didnät see that. rejected him and wanted him dead. This is why I reject what is being said in this video. I can't imagine a perfect human being. I cant even fully understand what Jesus was like despite all the scripture. Christianity is not a religion of human imagination, but one of divine revelation. There are a lot of religions and philosophies born out of mans struggle to understand God. I see Christianity as Gods struggle to get closer to man. :) But you are right, Jesus is perfect. I just dont trust this Aslan character.

It never ceases to amaze me now easy it is for someone to make a handsome living talking about something that does not exist. A good debater would/could argue easily about the non existence of God. Aslan fails in that respect. That said, I am an atheist and find the historic Jesus of significant value.

This is one man's opinion..... not facts at all, his opinion. FIRST of all, he is MUSLIM, and a great public speaker.... He has mentioned in the ASPEN talk ( 50 people in the audience?) that every Jesus gets mentioned on FOX he sells more books.... He said to be glib.... of course he doesn't mind being glib because he doesn't mind making a living on writing his perspectives on Jesus.

Khalid Mahmood something i agree with you. I really like professor Reza. But a few times i had the feeling that he knows the lies about the bible and Jesus are more than he s prepared to tell us.
Still i believe hes doing a great job.

You have to remember that even in Jesus' time of Ministry, 2000 years ago, he was considered a 'radical', with very controversial statements and declarations - that is what led to his crucifixion! If he was teaching today - it would not be much different...

Book should be called Jesus according to Muslims who lie and make him in their image.
